Nice spot to meet after work, with friends or to watch a game. Limited parking lot in being shared with other retail establishments. More spaces open once they close. Also some street parking. Nice menu and good drinks. Seating inside and out. Bar and regular tables but they are high tops more so inside and normal low outside. It tends to stay crowded with events. Staff are nice and friendly. Music with live or DJ depending on day. Can be loud.
The Beverly - Atlanta, GA Listen--if you're in Atlanta and not hitting up The Beverly for happy hour, you're doing it wrong. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point. The music was vibey, the energy was just right, and the drinks? Let's just say the happy hour did not disappoint. I went with the watermelon margarita, and whew--chef's kiss. Light, floral, and just the right amount of tart. My best friend had the mango margarita, and I'm not saying I stole a few sips, but I'm also not denying it. Sweet, tropical, and dangerously smooth. The Long Island Iced Tea was stronger the NY state itself! LOL. Now let's talk food. The jerk chicken egg rolls? Absolutely next level. Crispy on the outside, packed with flavor on the inside, and served with a dipping sauce that had us both side-eyeing the last piece like it was a championship ring. No photos here - we were hungry and we ate ate!! We were lucky enough to catch a live band while we were there, and they brought the house down. Smooth vocals, great energy, and the perfect soundtrack to sip and snack to. Just a heads-up though--seating is limited, especially during peak hours. If you're planning to stay a while, get there early or be ready to hover like it's musical chairs (but make it cute). Whether you're kicking off a girls' night, catching up with friends, or just treating yourself (because you deserve it), The Beverly is that spot. I'll definitely be back--and next time, I'm ordering two rounds of those egg rolls. No sharing.
Bring a jacket if you're cold natured.... spaces, nice amount of seating. They do have outside seating. Staff was very nice. I sat at the bar and the bartender was really sweet and makes a good drink. I had the Peach at the Beach. I wasn't hungry hungry, so I had the Salmon egg rolls and they where very good and filling, the dipping sauce had a nice kick to it...just right. The music was chill, I was there pretty much at opening on a Friday, lunchtime.
So I went to this restaurant at 2pm on a Sunday specifically for brunch. I was told there was no brunch until maybe next month. I reluctantly ordered lunch items and they were pretty good but they had a DJ playing music so long we couldn't have a conversation. I felt like I was in a club not a restaurant. We had to go sit outside so that we could have a conversation. If you are looking for a loud club like atmosphere with tasty food and good drinks this is a good place. I was look for a calm place to have Sunday brunch! So the owner's response is we don't have a DJ we have live music. Whatever it was it was too damn loud. I hope that clarifies it for you sir!

As I approached, I noticed the shared parking lot--it always looks a little tight, but somehow I managed to find a spot. There's also some street parking available if needed. This time around, I entered and headed straight to the bar. There were a few people standing around the host podium, and while I didn't get a formal greeting, I think they just assumed I knew where I was going. The Beverly does offer a happy hour menu with both drinks and food options, which is always a plus. I decided to kick things off with the Scofflaw POG IPA from the happy hour list. A few minutes later, my friend arrived and also grabbed a couple of items from the happy hour menu. I tried to convince everyone to sit outside under the shaded umbrella tables, but that did not work, it was one of those sweltering Atlanta days, so they weren't having it. After a round or two, I started to get hungry and went ahead and ordered the 6 piece lemon pepper wings. They came out pretty quickly. I'll admit--they looked a little lonely on the plate at first, but once I started eating, they were flavorful and went well with the beer. We enjoyed a few rounds, and then the live band kicked off. The vibe shifted in the best way, the singer had serious talent. Ashton Beauchesne's (@yoshihanaa) voice reminded me of a young Chaka Khan. The band had the whole place rockin to some classic R&B favorites. Overall, The Beverly has a great vibe, great ambiance and it's minority-owned--we're already planning our next visit. P.S I have already been back since my initial notes and the Jerk Chicken Wings are "Off the Chain"!! Flavorful, Juicy and falling off the bone.

If you're looking for a nice sports bar with a good drink menu, youve come to the right place. Location and Parking Located in Grant Park, parking is free but the lot immediately surrounding the restaurant is small, and is shared by 3 other businesses. You'll most likely need to park in the larger lot, behind Kroger. Venue and Atmosphere The space is casual, with plenty of seating and TVs to watch sports. They also have a patio area on the side. Nothing fancy but it's very clean. Service Service was prompt, courteous, and efficient. Food and Beverages I had the cobb salad, lemon pepper wings, and the Spelman themed cocktail (they had a Morehouse Margarita as well but I didn't try that). The wings were great but the salad was salty? I've never said that about a salad before, but maybe they added too many cheese crumbles. The drink was presented beautifully but was a bit too sweet for me. Verdict I'll be back for the wings and sports, but maybe I'll just stick to a beer next time.

Extremely casual atmosphere. Disappointed that they were out of several menu items for a HUGE game night.
I am sharing this review because of the lack of customer service that was experienced before even stepping foot in this establishment. My friends and I meet once a month to fellowship. It is a total of 12 or so women. We planned a brunch for 4/19 at 12p. My friend, Jaszmyn, was the point of contact with the restaurant and paid a deposit two weeks ago. She received a message today (4/15) where she was asked to reschedule what she's planned and booked two weeks ago due to a private event (soccer watch party) who just booked AFTER my friend's booking. This tells me the value here is not service but money. I could understand if my friend did not already book weeks ago or if she was just calling to book and the private event was already on the calendar. That was not the case. I will not be visiting The Beverly for this very reason because I want to go where everyone is welcomed, not just the highest bidder.
First time in the restaurant with a group of friends for the Dream Watch Party. The atmosphere was great, parking was a breeze, and the food and drinks were top notch. I will definitely be back again.
Loved it! We came here to watch the AFC/NFC championships and it was packed! Seriously! It was about 35 minutes before I was able to get a seat at the bar. I ended up drinking the Spelman Glow which was very good and not too strong. For dinner, I had the salmon, mac & cheese, and brussel sprouts. All were straight fire! This is an elevated bar experience and they didn't disappoint. Plenty of tv's, patio seating, and good food/drinks. What more could you ask for?

The Beverly never let me down. Whenever I'm in need of good food late night...they come through. I always order the shrimp or fish tacos with fries and an satisfied every time. My visit on 02/28 came after night drinking and a failed attempt at dining at another establishment. Robby was my server and he took excellent care of me. Illof course be back!
We went on a Friday night and The Beverly was rockin' with a live 3-piece band & some tableside dancing. Fairly priced diverse menu including salads, Sammies, pastas and entrees, I did the cobb! Attentive, pleasant service. By 10pm the music stopped and by 11pm place was pretty cleared out. read more

Kudos to Josh for handling the bar by himself with a full house of customers and never missed a beat. He kept the great drinks flowing, and took orders while interacting with the customers. Very personable and professional. read more
Decided to come here with my bestie and Mentor to have dinner and drinks. Wasn't aware that a Live Band was playing tonight and I must say that they were pretty dope! Our Server Janesa( hope I spelled her name correctly) was our server, she took great care of usT and was on point. The BOH was another story, the only issue is that my Burger took a minute for me to get it because they ran out of buns and had to go to the Kroger in the Plaza to get buns. And after all that I ordered my Burger Medium and it came out dang near RAW so I kinda lost my appetite. Ordered the Buffalo Chicken Tacos and they were a bit dry but filled my hungry stomach lol. The ambiance was great, the Old Fashioned was delicious and not too bad of a spot. FYI as a person that works in the Restaurant industry, my suggestion is that you give the customer a heads up that you charge 1$ for an extra cherry when you order an Old Fashioned ( that comes with Cherries as a garnish lol) and $1 for Mild sauce when the Buffalo Chicken Tacos are dry for extra sauce. read more

Overall experience was great! Service was pretty good, our waitress was really nice and helpful. We had a party of 6 and made reservations. We had the mimosa carafe, the first one was perfect. The second one was a little sweet. The chicken and waffles were tasty. you can choose chicken tenders or wings. I did tenders. The philly cheesesteak rolls were hit or miss with the table. Let's go with a 3 out 5. The breakfast plate was good, flounder was very flavorful. The grits were tasty and creamy as well. The jerk chicken rolls were a hit with the table, more veggies than chicken. The hazelnut martini was extremely sweet and i believe most of the drinks were on the sweeter side. I don't recommend this restaurant. I'll start with the service. We were in the restaurant for a total of about an hour and a half. And we had to ask our waitress for items multiple times in order to just get plates or our food ordered or our drinks ordered. I think she might've been one of two waitresses, so maybe the restaurant needs to hire more people, but I did see service staff walking around doing other tasks. Either way that was not enjoyable. The ambience is fine. It's like a sports bar/lounge. I can see why people like to go there. I can also see influencers coming over and making cool videos. It does have a cool vibe to it so I'll give it that. For the food. I wanted to get the Rasta pasta because that was a recommendation from previous patrons, but they told me they didn't have it. They informed me that a couple of items on the menu weren't on the menu because they ran out of food or something. So I ordered the eggrolls . The eggrolls were not very good. They were dry and the sauce wasn't flavorful. I probably won't order that ever again. Being in the heart of Atlanta, there are so many different options and things to do. I probably won't give this place another shot, but I encourage everybody to have their own experience. read more
I've come here many times for happy hour, it's a great easy vibe. Happy hour is 4-7, there are drink specials only. On Fridays they have live music that starts at like 7:30. Service is always great. This time we sat at the bar- our bartender was attentive and made great drinks. My friend thought her second margarita tasted a little weak and she gave her some more tequila. She wasn't going to complain bc it was on special anyway, so I mentioned it and to our surprise she fixed it. I don't come here for food but everything is decent. If you are looking for a comfortable, chill atmosphere with great food at a decent price, I highly recommend The Beverly! This black owned business is perfect for a night out, brunch, drinks, watching sports games, etc! They have bar, indoor, & outdoor seating with modern music and sometimes live performances! The servers were very attentive and quick. Overall, I enjoyed my brunch here and will definitely be back to try their lunch or dinner menus! Beverly Breakfast: 9/10 Loved how customizable this is from the way you can have your eggs, the various protein options, and substituting regular toast for french toast!! The grits were nice and creamy & the egg portion was great!! French Toast: 7.5/10 I personally am not huge on cinnamon and this particular french toast was heavy in that. I found the food to be good here. Service was also timely and the restaurant has a very good vibe. There was live music when I visited and the band was very good! I really enjoyed my time here. The mimosas are decently priced, although I question if they're using the not so good stuff for the sparkling wine piece. The jerk egg rolls were about a 3/5. I didn't taste much jerk and they are slightly dry. Overall good experience and I would return. read more

Brunch at The Beverly was an amazing experience. I have been in Atlanta for a week and this is hands down the best meal that I have had! The food was so delicious! I had the Chicken & Waffles with a side of Grits. Hands down the best Grits I have ever had. It was seasoned to perfection! The waffles and Chicken were seasoned well too. Bria, our server was very friendly and provided excellent service. The ambiance was on point. Artist, Kameron Corvet's soulful voice was the cherry on top for my Sunday Brunch experience at The Beverly! I cannot wait for my next visit to Atlanta. I will definitely be back! read more

I showed up on a Saturday afternoon, hungry and thirsty and looking for a place to recharge after a hectic morning. Google Maps said I was only about 15 minutes away from the Beverly, so I headed there. I found a seat at the bar and was promptly greeted. Brunch was ending and the bartender let me know about the specialty cocktail of the day. I ordered the cocktail and decided to order an appetizer while the kitchen switched over from brunch to dinner. QR codes were posted on the bar for me to scan to and the menu. My drink arrived and was tasty and pretty. I'm not usually a watermelon fan, but it worked in this drink. My appetizer was Philly egg rolls. They arrived shortly after. They were fried really well and had more meat than I expected. The serving size would've been perfect for 2 people to share. Since I was on my own, I had about half of it left once my belly was full. The music was loud, but enjoyable. It was a great mix of R&B hits. I could've sat and listened for much longer than I did. They were a little more than half full when I arrived and everyone seemed to be having a great time. The energy was great and I'd come back for sure! read more
I was given the Beverly as a recommendation for dinner. Upon arrival I was very scared that It would just be your average bar/pub food but they actually had an interesting and varying menu. The service was decent, my waiter maintained a steady pace of checking in and provided recommendations when asked. The environment was more sports bar, meet up, type of vibe. There was music and games going at once but I felt it was still conversational enough to not be screaming at the phone as I came alone and took a phone call the duration of my visit. Overall, I would definitely come back. I enjoyed my selection and I'm open to trying more of the options they have! read more

Stopped by on a Sunday early afternoon for brunch and the falcons. The Beverly is a sports bar that shared a parking lot with Kroger and Chick fila. The restaurant serves standard bar fare such as burgers, wings, sliders as well as salads and pasta. I enjoyed the jerk chicken rolls, a Cobb salad with salmon, fries, and Rasta pasta. Everything was lovely. Most dishes were $10-20. Also had a mimosa carafe for $15. I think they're first come first serve. I called ahead and didn't wait long. Many tvs. Great for watching the games. Parking can be tight immediately in front of the restaurant. Service was a bit slow during the game but everyone was professional and friendly. read more
I read a review for another bar that mentioned the food at the Beverly so I decided to pop in and check it out. I ordered the salmon egg rolls and a cocktail with crown royal. The food came out at a decent time, but I wasn't a fan of the sauce that it was served with. When I asked if there was another sauce to switch it for the bartender said yes and gave me two other options. I decided on a sweet chili option which had an asian flavor and paired better in my opinion. To my surprise when the bill came I was charged $1 for the sauce. I didn't like the chipotle based sauce and didn't eat but a taste of it but I was charged as if I ordered extra sauce. That was annoying. I know it's just a dollar but it's the principle of not being able to switch out a sauce on the house that resulted in the 4 stars. I enjoyed my crown drink and the music but it seemed like I had just missed the live band. read more
I come to the shopping center to go to Kroger regularly, but this is my first time stopping in. It's a really busy place on a Sunday afternoon. The wait was 30 minutes, but I snagged a seat at the bar. A really nice young man gave me a seat and brought me a drink. Such a gentleman. I ordered the Philly Chessesteak egg rolls. They were really good. But the chimichurri sauce on the side is excellent. The staff was nice also. Smiling through the chaos of a full house. I'll be back. Probably on a weekday. read more
