Your 3rd Spot is an upscale arcade gaming hangout place. It is gorgeous inside and way more classy than I was expecting! We chose the gaming only reservation which included unlimited play and 30 minutes of bowling for $30 pp. Luckily we went on a Thursday evening around 5:30 pm and it was empty so we could play any games we wanted. I could imagine this place getting super packed, though, and it being difficult to play games. They have a variety of games from darts to shuffle board to the classic arcade games. We were there for 2.5 hours and it was more than enough time to play most of the games. The reason I am taking one star away is that they need to do better maintenance on some of the games. The curling lane didn't work and many of the arcade games were partially broken. We didn't eat but they serve food there and there's lots of tables to sit at. They also have a full bar. The cocktails were decent and reasonably priced, ~$16 including tax and automatic tip. Overall, it's a really fun spot for a date or for hanging with friends. I would highly recommend avoiding their peak hours. They validate an extra hour of parking so you get 3 hours free and there's plenty of spots in the garage right next to the place. read more

I always have some trepidation when it comes to adult-themed 'kid' places but Y3S delivered everything you could want in a night out: food, drink, games, silliness, and rowdiness. As mentioned, I was here for a corporate offsite so the mileage, it may vary a bit but I think, for the most part, the experience was something most people could replicate. First and foremost, the employees were all really nice. I don't think that had anything to do with our group buyout (how would they know who was who?). I was pretty shocked at how nice everyone was. I know that I would probably experience some sort of breakdown in a setting like this but from natural smiles to helpful tips to wonderful service, the employees were a total hit. I had no such complaints -- and it's not even because it was free and plentiful. Look at some previous reviews, I'll complain about free food. This food was good. And from sodas to canned libations to cocktails, my thirst was always sated. Again, I don't know what a sit down (would you come here to sit?) experience is, but a group setting was well-situated. So the games were okay some was really fun but a LOT of games were missing/broken. Which for the price should not be the case. The food however was NOT WORTH IT. If you go buy food earlier because they are very underhanded here. The "popcorn chicken was $19!! $15 for the meal then $4 in gratuity when they don't even serve you is just diabolical. Came here on a Saturday night with friends and had a really good time. Quick heads up -- after a certain hour it goes 21+ so don't leave your ID at home. Your Third Spot is a pretty unique place with its offerings on the West End of town. It's semi-hidden out in the open. You'll know what I mean when you try finding it. Parking at the Orange Deck is your best bet as you can get a direct path to the place. They'll validate your parking (or they should) when you're ready to leave. I'm a little unsure on how booking works. It seems like a club trying to get in there, and we went for a corporate party. They have a space outside that looks geared towards kids. There is an outdoor slide and covered "igloo" tents that are heated. Inside is crazy! You'll find: bowling (just wear your own shoes), cornhole, arcade, lounge seating, tiki bar, entertainment area (TVs, games) and just one big party & relax room. The food was actually pretty good! This was for a birthday party for 50-something folks and was a great option for everyone to find what they liked to do. Entry - there's a line for reservations or walk-ups. I guess priority is reservations but everyone must pay first to enter the venue. After 6 PM it's 21 and older and a flat price of $33 for 3 hours of gaming. Table Service: For large groups, you must pay with a single card. Gratuity of 20% is included on all transactions and its cashless. Otherwise you'll have to pay per person and order food from your table. Drinks you can order from the bar if you don't have a dedicated server. Food: The menu is diverse and is elevated bar food. Classic Margarita Pizza, Vegan Empanadas, Mushroom pizza, Popcorn Chicken bites, Sliders, Beef skewers and more. They really do a great job and the food was delicious and shareable. Games: Everything is available to have fun and relive our childhood. Vintage arcade games, pinball, foosball, darts, hoops, skeeball, curling, cornhole, giant games (jenga, battle ship, connect 4) and even tabletop card games. Bowling is an additional costs - $15 per session. Overall, it's a good time and good vibes. There's a live DJ spinning dance tunes and even shoutout the birthdays in the building. I went for an event yesterday, so my review is based on the things I got for the event (i.e. did not spend money). They have an outside area for games for kids, I believe its called The Camp. We were greeted outside by a host who gave us a card for unlimited pay and a drink ticket and then the person walked us inside and all. The place is HUGE. They have bowling lanes, arcade games, a big space for cornhole, darts and more. All of these games were available to play with the card. They also have food tables and a bar. Because it was an event, we didn't actually order food but rather got served a specific menu (I personally liked their mini pizzas). For drinks you also ordered from a specific menu (I had the sangria and it was good). At the end of the night it was raining a lot and they had somebody from the staff giving ponchos at the door (no extra charge). I don't believe that was specific for the event, but still, great service. PS. The staff directed us to find our reserved table, which was a positive--at least we had a spot ready for us. This was a first date with my now-girlfriend, and having that reserved space was appreciated. Food The food was good, but unfortunately not great. For an establishment like this, I expected dishes that would leave us craving more. Since the portions were small (closer to appetizer-sized), we tried a variety: Pork Belly Fried Rice: The rice itself was delicious, but the pork belly was overly greasy, and the fat and meat felt heavy rather than flavorful. Scallops: Decent, but nothing that stood out. Brisket Tacos: These were the highlight for my girlfriend. For me, the rice (without the pork belly) was the best part of the meal. The food didn't leave us satisfied, and we ended up going somewhere else afterward. For a place of this caliber, I expected the dishes to be more enticing and fulfilling. Drinks I don't drink alcohol and made that clear when ordering, but we were still brought an extra alcoholic beverage "because they made too many." While I appreciated the gesture, it ended up sitting on the table untouched, which felt wasteful and slightly awkward. Activities and Atmosphere We arrived around 5 PM, and the gaming area was packed with kids. For someone like me, a video game collector, this was both exciting and overwhelming. While the games were fun, the sheer number of children made the experience less enjoyable. I would recommend going later in the evening to avoid the crowd. Additionally, I felt the game selection could use a modern twist--incorporating newer, more exclusive experiences that people might not have at home. Overall Experience Despite the underwhelming food and crowded gaming area, it was still a fun outing. This establishment is a solid choice for a first date, especially if you aim for a later time when the atmosphere is likely calmer. However, there are areas for improvement: Portion Sizes: The food left us wanting more, which wasn't ideal for the price point. Staff Communication: First-timers would benefit from clearer guidance on the process. As someone passionate about food and gaming, this visit was an eye-opener, especially since I aspire to open a restaurant of my own one day. Stopped here after an event. They gave all attendees complimentary game cards for the evening. I loved this place. There are so many things to do and I loved their spicy tuna on crispy rice. Looking forward to coming back and trying more activities. read more

This is the perfect date spot! It can get a little pricey so be prepared! I believe it's about 50/pp for entry. Surprisingly the food here was really good. The oysters were some of the best Ive had and being that this was more of a fun date I was shocked! The music they played was upbeat it's also very cute inside!
