So just happened to stumble here and it was actually pretty cool. I didn't come to eat anything like that but I did see a bunch of food at the tables when we were walking through and it looked really good. The food looked great so I actually would consider coming back, possibly ordering food. They had multiple bars in multiple areas and some areas for a private event as well so there's plenty of space here. Everywhere you go you'll see seats shaped like cockpits of cars so that's cool and that's probably the theme of it all lol. When you walk in in , you will notice staff waiting to greet you. There are two bars, one need the entry way and another one in the back The service was sort of attentive, but that's because we walked during non peak hours. I'm sure the hey would have been more attentive if we had came during peek hours. The facility is very clean and open. They have a wide variety of drinks from beer to cocktails. I really want to love this and it's very cool but it's a little half baked and I feel like you expect a more robust experience from the F1 brand. The simulators are still a work in progress with most feature tbd, and mine had a left listing steering wheel. Also, you really can't book online even if the place is completely empty because they appear to only allow online booking with a 1 hour delay - so you have to go to the desk even if there are no other people in the place. The simulation itself is weak, the AI drivers drive like the public lobby of the worst racing game you've tried, I got crashed out from 3rd by a divebombing AI Norris and ended up wasting that whole session because of it. Still, it's fun and a unique experience that you can't find other places. I'm looking forward to the iteration of the offering and things getting better by the next time I can visit. read more

Parking takes forever - go way ahead of time! The ambiance is great and definitely is loud inside with lots of Vegas vibes. It is a little confusing at first on how everything is done but there is usually someone to show you the flow of the area. We had to change time frames last minute due to a malfunction in some of the simulators so the manager called us and asked to move to another time frame and luckily we did that but I would assume there would be some kind of kind gesture for doing that and we really didn't receive anything for that so I would definitely be weary of that especially if you have dinner plans around the timeframe you are attending your timed race. We ordered drinks before our race but after we started our race which is a 30 minute session, our drinks came and it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to drink a drink and drive the simulator so that is really a dumb suggestion on their part considering they said "oh you have enough time to order and drink before the time slot starts". It is a way for them to make money for sure. The drinks also are not crafted well- you can definitely tell they have lots of mixers etc in them. We opted to not order food for that reason and we skipped over to cocktails at our go to spot before dinner. Good first experience but probably wouldn't be back! read more

I went midday hoping it wouldn't be busy and we would get great service. The service wasnt great at our racing station, the waiter finally came once we had completed our racing window. The racing is def harder than you would think but overall fun. I had to ask for wipes to clean the sitting area where you race (I was told they wipe them down after every use, this isn't true, one wipe had black stuff all over it & crumbs). I didn't even take a pic of the sliders because they looked depressed and were 5/10. The crab cake 6/10 I wasnt expecting crab cake balls literally thought I was getting a standard crab cake. Best thing the truffle fries 10/10. Clay was a good bartender and gave great recommendations...ask for him! read more

F1 was was ok. It was a cool experience, but I don't feel the need to return. We went on a Saturday evening and parking was a bit difficult. They're located in the Interlock on Howell Mill road amongst several other popular businesses. Parking is paid through ParkMobile and the price was reasonable. The inside looks pretty cool and futuristic. The party we joined had two table reserved and 5 driving simulators were reserved for the group as well. The menu is composed of standard bar fair. I ordered the crab fritters and old bay fries. We also ordered chicken tacos and a pepperoni flat bread. The crab fritters were decent, but the portion was really small. The fries were hard and overcooked. The chicken on the tacos had a distinct flavor that I didn't care for. We sent them back and ordered the flatbread. I didn't try it, but heard it was tasty. The driving simulators were fun, but I became uninterested after a few rounds. They had a DJ that only played techno music. We had a good time overall, but due to the less than stellar food and lack of other activities, it's probably a one and done for me. read more

This has been one of my most anticipated spots to visit of the year and it did not disappointed. Nyla checked us in and made sure we got all three of our races for the evening while we spent the evening kicking off our girl's trip. She was an absolute gem! and so knowledgeable and excited to share the F1 experience with us. F1 arcade is great for couples or parties. The race itself was so much fun! I love that you can choose your different levels and that the whole seat moves as you take each turn- making it feel more real. The quality of the food and drinks were 10/10. The prices were reasonable for dt Atlanta. The had a DJ setting up to prep for one of the viewings (it was Australia's race ) and was spinning a mix of R&B and house music. It was also a treat that we could see one Red Bull's cars in person. (I'd seen it on stories around downtown so was really excited to see it at the bar that night.) This place is amazing! We made a reservation to compete in the F1 simulator and then eat. The staff that greeted us was very friendly, explained the rules and how to engage with the games. After we competed (I won, of course) we sat at a table to eat. We ordered the 5 piece chicken for an appetizer. For dinner My husband ordered the brisket tacos and I had the formula 1 burger. Everything was really good. Kaniya (I'm so sorry for not remembering) our server was really friendly. The designers definitely captured the vibe of Formula 1 racing but it didn't feel like a man's place. I'll definitely be back. read more

We went on their grand opening night and boy did we have fun. I'd totally recommend this for anyone that loves racing, F1, or even just a night out amongst friends. Each race is 6 minutes and you can get 3 or 6 race packages. They have servers that can bring you drinks and food to your sim racer and the food is actually quite affordable, especially for this area of West Midtown! Not only was it affordable, but it was quite good too and they have plant-based vegan options as well. There's lots of loud music but that's all part of the vibe. Beautiful interior and feel. The entire experience is very underwhelming. If you have a racing simulator at home, it's the same thing with more resistance and some minor vibrations. As a gamer, it was underwhelming. The server for drinks NEVER came by our stations, so I went up to the bar, she never checked in with us. The bartender didn't come to me for 20 minutes at the bar. When I came back the simulator was on race 4. Once the game starts, there is no break for 50 minutes. I wish the simulator was more interactive or had more options in game type or maps. Great location, it is in a area with so much to do and in walking distance to other things. It is only paid parking, so do keep that in mind and add that to your budget. When walking in, it is pleasing to the eyes. Upon walking in you are greeted and everyone was nice. You will see race car simulators from the front to the back. It will be best to make reservations because walking can put you on a wait list....(trust me I know, because that's what happened to us). Though online the website states walkins are welcome.... I wish it would have said, reservations are recommended (maybe I overlooked it‍) They offer hightop table seating and bar seating. The whole space is nice and full of life. Though we didn't get the opportunity to play, we did attempt to grab a bite but that was a epic fail. We sat at the bar, which is a fully stocked bar. Our bartender did not give us good service. Upon sitting down 2-3mins. she gives us a menu(only a drink menu), we finally get her attention and place our order.... though our drinks were good, getting here attention to let her know she never gave us a food menu but by that time myself and my date were over the service we had received and didn't want to stay and eat. Multiple bartenders walked pass and when we got ones attention, they said they would get her for us, because she was not on the floor for a minute. Check your receipt! Ordered a club soda, waiter asked bottle or tap. I said just tap. He brings me a glass of club soda, no issue. I go to pay and he had the tip screen already pulled up, I said no can I see the receipt? He pulled it up and he charged me $7 for a bottle of club soda. I said no, I ordered tap. He said well the bar said they were out of tap club soda, only had bottle. Didn't tell me just charged me. Whatever. That was silly but I paid and tipped. I walked straight to the bartender he was at after paying and asked if they were out of club soda on tap, he said no. I asked him to press it just to be sure. Both managers were outstanding--specifically, the shorter Black woman and the tall Caucasian man--who enhanced the overall service experience. However, it was disappointing that I had to speak with both of them, as they operate a server system where everyone busses tables, which isn't effective when staff aren't adequately prepared. I took me and 2 of my friends who are f1 fans to here. It was pretty bad. We showed up at 9:30, they told us we'd have to wait till 10:30 despite plenty of driving bays being open. I figured it wasn't a problem, there's probably plenty of stuff before starting to explain that adds to wait time and everything. We went to a different bar and got a couple drinks then came back, excited to start. They rush you through everything. We got a poor 15 second explanation of how everything worked and then started our game. On top of that, the games start back to back no matter what you do, so you have to learn as you're spending the time you paid for. We got 5 races for $30/pp, it ended up lasting about 30 mins. I figured it would last longer, but theres probably about 30 seconds between races, since you can't choose your driver, car, or track, it's all pre-decided for you in order to get you through faster. It would be much nicer if there was more explained to us to learn how it works before you play, and time in between races to grab a drink or talk about how it went. Literally 2-3 minutes between races would have made a huge difference on our experience. On top of that, the simulation is just terrible. Plain and simple. It's just the F1 game installed on computers with a terrible physics engine. AI drivers will crash into you and pin you against the border, tailspin you out of control, whatever is possible will happen. The first race was a complete wash, we just spent it learning how to control everything. It seems like if you're paying for an F1 experience there should be bots that won't ruin an entire race for you, but the reality is the simulation is turned into a gimmick to get people to come in. I didn't bother to order food or drinks, they didn't look good from the menu and there's not any time to eat or drink anything while you're playing. If you're fans of f1, you can probably manage to have a decent time just because of the immersion. If you're not, I don't think it's worthy the money at all. read more

So for my first time here I didn't know what to expect or what I walking into. My friend invited on a night out and I was with all the smoke. We get there paid for parking on the deck prices were fair for that. We wlk in and get blue wrist bands not knowing there's a difference from that and the rd bad. Long story short we didn't get to race or necessarily sit at the table that we chose to sit. Red wrist bad are for pre orders and reserved for early buyers we had to move to standing around instead of sitting at our table. Management was very clear on why we couldn't and even took care of us by refunding our purchase for racing. The appetizers that we got the chance to try were so tasting and satisfying. Had a 75$ of mezcal mad it was Devine. Can't wait to come back to experience the restaurant as a whole. Jason took great care of us to make sure we keep coming back. Pretty annoyed with the drink situation here. I ordered skinny margaritas and they automatically made them with Don Julio without asking, which made them $26 each. If a bar is going to default to a premium tequila like that, they should absolutely tell you first. It felt a bit sneaky when the bill came. That being said, we still had a fun time. The racing simulators and overall atmosphere make it a great spot for a group and the concept is really cool. The food was also very good, but like the drinks, it's definitely overpriced for what you get. I do recommend arriving 15 min prior to your reservation so you can stand in line to secure your SIM as they will take you directly to start racing. The concept sounded very cool and I was excited to check it out. I attempted to reserve simulators to race but they were booked online. No biggie, I saw on their website that walk-ins were available. The bar itself is aesthetically pleasing. I asked about reserving a simulator as a walk in and was told that none were available for the remainder of the night. No biggie (again), myself and my friends decided to enjoy the bar and grab some drinks. As I looked around the bar I noticed that there were a good number of simulators available- as in more than 60-70%. I waited a little longer while I drank my drink and then asked again about the driving simulators. Again I was told that they were booked for the night. My group finished our drinks and left. It kind of defeats the purpose to be an F1 simulator bar and nobody is driving or able to drive the simulators. Likely will not return, nothing else really stood out. read more

Service Is so mid. No flexibility in the reservations. You only have 30 minutes to ride and if you're late, it cuts into your ride time. No clear place to sit. They have no way of showing a table has been reserved so they might ask you to move if you sit on a table reserved for a party. Lastly, the waitstaff will walk past you 30+ times without acknowledging or helping you. Our waitress disappeared. To get our check, I had to stand up and interrupt a waitress in the middle of her conversation and ask her if we can get our check. We went with a group to watch the Miami race, my first time there. We are all avid F1 fans. I didn't get a chance to try the sims, since I didn't know what to do and there were no employees offering to help. I may go back for the sims, but not for a race. First, the DJ ran music and a trivia game all the way to lights out, meaning we could not hear the pre-race show. And also after the race, meaning we could not hear the post-race show. So this is definitely not a place for serious F1 fans. Also, the service was atrocious. It seemed there are not dedicated servers, which meant we had two or three servers, running around with no coordination, making service extremely confused and slow. Also, after a long wait, they brought our drinks - not what we ordered and they could not seem to comprehend the difference between what they brought and what we ordered - so another long wait for the correct drinks. Which in the end, were just OK. Food was another long wait, but my tacos were good. A bit overpriced. It was nice to have the big screens but overall I can't recommend it. read more

We went to F1 for a work event with about 15 people today. We had a great time and the service was great. Until it came time to leave. We had ordered a lot of appetizers and had a lot left over and asked for some "to go" boxes. The manager told us that it was their policy to not issue "to go" boxes for events. WHAT?!? We paid for the food. You can't deny us the right to take the leftovers with us. She went to talk to the general manager to confirm that she understood the policy correctly and came back and told us once again that their policy was that they couldn't give to go boxes for events. We asked her what they planned to do with the leftover food and she said they would just throw it away. We asked to speak to the general manager. Apparently he didn't want to speak to us and he finally gave into us, but this is a terrible policy and terrible customer experience that they need to address and change immediately. I hope this is just a "kink" of their opening week. read more
