We decided to visit the Painted Duck Sind the Painted Pin was closed to the public due to a private event and I must say this was a great alternate. They are fairly similar but the bowling balls are mini at The Painted Duck! The service was good and extremely fast. The food and drinks were great as well. Other games to play other than bowling which was a plus. Great place for large groups!

My friends and I decided to check out The painted Duck. There was valet parking for $5 and some street parking. The Waitstaff was great. I had brisket sandwich and tots. Sandwich a little dry but tasty. I had a sample of frosted orange drink, didn't like it but they suggested another vodka based drink pop, I had two it was good and strong. We played air hockey and some other games while we waited for our lane. Duck pin bowling reminds me of skee-ball with the smaller bowling balls with smaller pins. The venue was adults only after 5 pm. I hear they often have little be music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Painted Duck is a great place to go to spend your night at. They have a full food/drink menu, so you're bound to find something you like. I have been here a few times, but this particular time, I came after my birthday dinner. There were about 12 of us. It was great, because we had just eaten and we were only getting drinks. We grabbed some drinks at the bar and then played some of the many games they have throughout the space. They are famous for their duckpin bowling, which is like bowling, but the balls and pins are smaller. The night we went, was extremely loud, as there was a live band playing, but it was a Saturday night, so can't complain too much there. We had just walked here from dinner, as we were close by. I am not too familiar with the parking situation here, so I can't speak on that. Overall Painted Duck is a fun place to go when you're looking to do something different. It's quite pricey, but expected.

I parked in the building next to the Painted Duck. This cost like $5 per hour. They have valet parking for $5 total in the basement. You enter this location through some green doors on the side of the building. The venue is in the basement. They check IDs before you come in. The place is extremely nice. No natural light and it has a lounge feel. All lanes were rented out so we could not bowl but that was not a problem. I liked the vibe of the place. I was pleasantly surprised on how they were able to handle the large crowd and still provide good service. This venue is very stylish. Bar is huge and can probably seat 30 people. Clean glass and mirrors everywhere. It is hard to explain this place but it is like a Bass Pro Shop meets a night club. There are other games for those that do not want to bowl. You have horseshoes, curling, soccer balls for billards, darts, and a couple other games. The drinks are the highlight of the show. I tried the Pond water which was black tea and peach schnapps and it tastes great. The frozen duck is a slushie drink with vodka, orange juice, and coconut. The food was only decent. The pork sliders were decent and the triple dip was ok. Chips are extremely thin.

Finally stopped by the Painted Duck (though it's been open for years at this point) and it's pretty much as expected. Lots of different games, huge crowd so everything is a wait-meaning I waited at the bar for over 20 min for a basic drink. We waited in a single game for more than half an hour while 3 other groups amassed who were also now in line behind us which I think in any other occasion would have added a sort of tension to rush though our game time but I was there for a bachelorette so we'd were on "our time" if that makes any sense. Didn't eat anything so I can't comment on food. Staff were all really friendly but just not in a hurry. I ordered one Negroni, my go to drink. I would not order it again there ($14 before tip and it was BAD). Definitely would stick to canned drinks or beer at this spot honestly. The live bad they had playing was good though and made a point of singling out my bride friend for cheers which was nice of them. I'm not usually one for a place like this because it's always rushed and that takes a lot of the fun out of it for me so I may be a bit biased. I do think it may be a better time to go during the week when it may be a bit less crowded. Gave it the benefit of the doubt and 3 stars as I'm probably not their target customer lol but it was a 2 star experience for me

Definite hidden gem in the city. All the games are free besides bowling, which isn't going to break the bank either. The entire place is beautifully designed and perfect for a date night. The food and drinks are delicious and I'd go back just for that. That turkey leg was the highlight of my night. Fell right off the bone when I picked it up. Well worth it for the $20 too. The service is top tier. All the recommendations were perfect. Please go try and let me know what you think.

The venue is beautiful. It's a bit confusing on parking bcos you pull up to a garage and can self park, right? There's a valet guy right there. Idk which one you're supposed to choose for the entire building. There are other businesses around. The Painted Duck is sexy, dark, huge, & trendy. You're in a basement like almost speakeasy feeling. This isn't a place for children. Seats are pretty limited. Cozy couches & small 2 seater tables. Expect to wait. Either eat or have drinks while waiting for a lane to open. My date and I found comfy chairs & a shared table across from another couple. We hit the bar where I got the Mule slushy. It was strong & tasty. Idk the price bcos he paid. We sat for a good 40-50 mins waiting for our lanes. I had to walk up to the podium to ask if we were next. You're going to be nickel and dimed for every single thing. Shoes. Socks. Lane. Food @ the lane. Gratuity will be added about 18% or 20%. My meal was so expensive although I had one more Mule slushy & duck fat fries. I paid @ least $50. No lie! The lanes ran about $100 to $150 (2 ppl, 1 hour) I would not come here again on a casual night. I'm a simple gal! Ppl don't leave the other games w/ a time limit. Also, at the horse shoe area they're tossed up to the net so you can't even use all of the pieces. Fix it please. Get a ladder

We had such a great time. The food was amazing and the atmosphere gave Adult vibes We loved the different games they offered

Food: amazing. Service: amazing. Music: amazing. Comfort: amazing. All-in-all: Amazing! Last time it was pretty good, but there was a problem with the shellfish. This time everything was on point- and I didn't order any shellfish. We came in for my sister's birthday and whilst they do not offer a reservable room or table in advance, you can show up early and table-camp to make sure your party gets the quality seats they deserve! I came at 6:15 and table-camped and sat for 45min until my party arrived. Thankfully, I didn't have to fight it out with anyone. I set up our tables with food and drinks just prior to everyone's arrival and when they walked in- BOOM. Party time! Kaiylin was or waitresss and she did a phenomenal job taking care of us from start to finish. I may have accidentally cause a little debate/argument by taking up one of her tables and one of someone else's tables, but I made sure to tip well in order to alleviate that issue. I am uploading new pictures with this review and my highest recommendations are the Filet Mignon Skewers and the Strawberry Caipirinha. We had the following: Duck nuggets (8/10), duck fat fries (7/10), Thai ahi tuna skewers (7/10), spicy chicken thigh skewers (8/10), filet mignon skewers - medium rare (10/10), chicken cobb salads (7/10), smoked beef brisket sandwich (8/10), pulled pork sliders (7.5/10), Au Poivre burger (9/10) With the scores given by my friends and family here...it's easy to say that this place has FANTASTIC food. The music is awesome. The drinks are great. The service is excellent! We'll definitely be back. Maybe my next birthday will be here? Who knows!? Should you try them out? Definitely.

Such a fun place to spend an evening! I recently visited The Painted Duck to celebrate a friends birthday, and I'm so glad that she chose to ring in her day here. We parked via valet which was a breeze but we were so confused about where to go! The garage is very mute in color and you'll almost miss the sign that tells you where to go, lol. But it's there! When we went up to higher ground, we spilled out onto a street and immediately ran into the building. Apparently we jumped the gun? because we went into the very first discreet-looking door that we saw lol we stumbled into a quiet check-in desk and were guided upstairs. When we got up there I realized that everyone else was entering from another door lol oops! Since I visited in December, when we arrived, the place was packed and covered in couples in party sequins, ugly holiday sweaters and business professional. A very diverse crowd! I assumed that there were several company holiday shindigs happening lol. Because of this, each lane was packed and the various games around the building were in use. No biggie! We were actually earlier than the birthday girl and decided to take a seat at the bar to kill some time. To start, my bf and I had cocktails and the Mexican Trio of dips. Our drinks were fantastic and the bartender was so sweet and efficient, despite serving so many at once, great service. That Mexican trio was sooooo good. Omg the hot corn? Bananassssssss! A must try. When the birthday girl arrived she put her name on the list and we were told it'd be a bit of a wait, but that was expected. Lucky us, there were so many great seating options and we took a corner area that comfortably sat our group of 8 or so. We received such wonderful service!!! Between our group, we all ordered several different drinks and bites, and when I tell you that we (almost) loved it allll?! There was only one item that my bf and the birthday girl didn't love, the garlic & herb crab claws as they thought the taste was a bit off. But our amazing waitress took it off and we quickly replaced it with another item. But wow - I didn't expect the food to be THAT good. The birthday girl is a chef and she was blown away. We ordered items such as Chicken Skins (which were super flavorful and fresh!), the duck fat fries, peel & eat shrimp, some skewers and duck nuggets. SO GOOD. [Now, I can't really speak to pricing. I like to live my best life and think that we really got some bang for our buck here, but I can understand folks feeling that it's a bit pricey.] After we indulged in our food and drinks while catching up, we noted that the guests who were using the lane in front of our section was prepping to leave so we took their spots. I don't even remember how long we were waiting to play because we truly got to enjoy some great food and drinks in the interim. The game itself was a lot of fun! I'm a lil weakling so lighter balls to play pin bowling with are very appreciated although I still lost lol. I really can't wait to return! I love that they're not just focused on the games but are offering wonderful service, and even better food paired up with their experience!

    Front entrance from street

Coming here for the first time, it was like walking into a speakeasy. The entrance to the place was a side door from a street, and just walking down a couple flight of stairs that looked like I was walking into a dark basement. But then you open this wooden door, and the place opened up to this very cool bright speakeasy vibe of games and lounge seating. Kids are only allowed inside the place during the weekends before 5pm, and that's when we came bc we have a little one and a teen. First thing I noticed was this beautiful chandelier in the middle of the place, and the exposed brick walls. Has a industrial rustic look to the place, and just instantly fell in love with the look and feel. Very cool place to hang out with family, and friends. This place has duck pin bowling, basketball, shuffleboard, and soccer pool (like playing pool but with soccer balls). I had the nitro espresso and also tried the French bread pizza and artichoke and spinach dip. All were delicious! The food is a bit pricey, so expect to spend on those apps. The pizza had about 4 small slices. The chips and dip was a decent portion for snacking. Service is quick too. This is a great place for any outing or celebration like birthdays, bachelorette/bachelor, or graduation. Would highly recommend.

Team building event here was quite fun. Seems like everyone enjoyed their time here. A group of 30+, reserved five lanes for two hours. Food was pretty good. The pizza and chicken tenders were the best in my opinion. At times, couldn't find our server. Service overall was okay. On a Tuesday night at 7pm, was quite packed. Have fun going to the restroom!

    Renta P.

The service was okay, the food was not so good. Tater tots and tenders were fried hard and wasn't good at all. The berry salad was good and the drinks was just okay. They had a band playing tonight, they were good. There are only 4-6 lanes to bowl so you will have to wait and its $50-$60 to bowl. Parking is $10-$20 in the parking garage depending on how long you stay.

The Mangorita was the standout for me. The rum brought a deep, complex backbone while the mango rounded everything out with just the right sweetness. Super balanced, layered, and honestly just delicious. The Peanut+Butter reminded me a bit of a Boulevardier variation, with the Cynar adding that earthy, slightly bitter edge that kept it from leaning too sweet. The Pear Matcha Fizz was refreshing and easy to drink -- definitely tasty -- but felt a little less complex and developed compared to the other two cocktails I had. Overall, very impressed.
