We recently visited F1 Arcade Atlanta with a group of 21 and spent over $1,100 for a 2-hour experience that unfortunately did not live up to expectations.
To start, they were gracious in allowing us to move our reservation time due to some logistical issues on our end, which we appreciated. However, once we arrived, things quickly went downhill.
We were given access to only 6 racing stations for our group of 21, which made it difficult for everyone to participate. We were also asked to create profiles to track scores, but the scoring system was never actually used, making that step feel pointless.
The food included in our package was extremely limited for a group our size--2 flatbread pizzas, 2 plates of sliders, 2 small bowls of chicken, and 2 bowls of fries, along with water. It was nowhere near enough, so we asked to order additional food.
That's where things became frustrating. A teacher ordered a burger separately at a normal price, but when we ordered more pizza and chicken for the group, we were charged event pricing--$60 per pizza when the menu lists them at $19. We were told this was due to being an "event" and needing extra plates and napkins. That explanation didn't sit well, especially considering any regular dining group would also need basic items like plates and napkins--and these were small cocktail napkins at that.
Service was also lacking. We had to repeatedly ask for water refills, request soft drinks we had already ordered, and then ask again for refills. The manager didn't introduce herself until we had already been there for an hour.
When we received an additional invoice of $320, we asked to speak with a manager about the unexpected and inflated pricing. While she apologized that we weren't informed ahead of time, no effort was made to adjust or resolve the situation.
Overall, the website is misleading, the pricing structure for groups feels excessive, and the experience did not match the cost. Unfortunately, we would not recommend this venue for group events. read more
