Okay, I'm obsessed. Whenever I come across cutesy spots on the clock app, I wonder if they'll measure up to the hype. Well, Pinky Promise did that and more. When planning to celebrate my birthday this year, I struggled to figure out my plans that I wanted to set with my girlfriends. Finally I decided on a Sunday Funday and thought it'd be a great reason to check Pink Promise out. As a self-proclaimed 'girly girl' who loves pink, flowers, all that cliche stuff, they were right up my alley. Upon arrival, two of my girls were already seated in a comfy booth in the corner. The girls who were working there were all dressed in pink - so cute! The restaurant was covered in florals and pink accents, truly a pink dream. Our group quickly grew, and the ladies were patient and kind with each and every one of us. We all tried some different cocktails and we loved them all. My personal favorite was the Coco Chanel which I should NOT have ordered based off of aesthetics because, WOO. That baby was strong, lol. But still tasty, so they did right by us, lol. The young lady who was serving our table told us to tell her when we would be toasting (such a millennial trait lolol), and we totally forgot to do so. So when she and her teammate came over with glasses of champagne, macarons and a bubble gun - all for me?! Omg, I loved it! Such a sweet birthday surprise. Five out of five I have nothing but amazing things to say about pinky promise let's talk about it! This is by far one of the cutest places I have been to in Atlanta in a very, very long time. It is located off Northside Drive not far from the Lidl. There was plenty of room for parking in the garage. Which was low key free after I did my math! Anywho! The vibe in Pinky Promise was amazing. The music was on point the decor outstanding like no words cant describe how beautiful it is in there. The artificial flowers all looked real. The space is not that big, which is OK. It gives it a cozy feel and it just completes everything pink and beautiful. The wait staff was amazing. We went there just for drinks to do a toast to the birthday girl, and they did not miss a beat. Their drink menu had so much to choose from and the names were so cute. I went with mocktails for the afternoon, which I will share the name and the ingredients, but for the toast for the birthday girl they bought out glasses of champagne and a bubble gun so cute. Oooh I think I had an abnormal experience based on reviews. Part of it was on us. We saw a page on Instagram promoting a happy hour for ladies that came with champagne and hookah. Once we arrived, we were told that their Instagram was hacked and that was a fake page. They don't even have hookah. Whoops! They were kind enough to give my friend a complimentary glass of champagne anyway to make up for it but this didn't start off well. We were here to celebrate my friend getting into medical school! We ordered several different small plates, meatballs, truffle fries, roasted potatoes, and the margherita flatbread. The pizza was decent but tasted frozen, especially considering the way the cheese melted. If you eat frozen pizza, then you know. My friend said the meatballs tasted frozen or out of a bag. The roasted potatoes didn't seem roasted at all. The french fries were air fried and burned on the ends (uneven cooking). Yikes. Not good at all. The cocktail that I had, a Pomegranate martini, wasn't good at all. Like, no redeeming value. I ended up paying $35 without tip for a flatbread and a martini. Not worth the price at all. The only thing that's worth it is that the place is cute. But you can tell that it'll be a chore for them to maintain this aesthetic. We ended up leaving shortly after. Why stick around? Had the chance to stop by Pinky Promise for an event that was hosted at their venue. Parking was easy, there was a parking garage connected near by. My girlfriends and I came to Pinky Promise to celebrate a birthday. Pinky Promise is a very cute restaurant with nice decor, that immediately caught our eye when we walked in. Our server was very sweet and had no problem explaining the menu to us because they serve tapas. The drinks were very good as well, I personally had the Billie Holiday. For food, I ordered a flatbread, the prosciutto & spinach one. I will say, the flatbread was not spectacular and cold. I will say, I honestly was not a fan and my friends also ordered flatbreads as well. Maybe the tapas are better, but we didn't get to order them. This place was really cute. Smaller than I thought but they do have an outside eating area. Now for me with big prices I have big expectations so they didn't get 5 stars because of the truffle fries. They tasted cheap and the ends were burnt and just cutting up cheese on the top left them bland nothing special. If you charge me $8 for fries, they need to be amazing! One of those places that will probably be closed permanently within 16 months. Kind of tapas style plates, of which were overpriced (all $18+). Cocktails are actually pretty nice, with some interesting recipes. Most notable is our waiter who had an attitude when I asked if he could split our bill. Apparently they "generally don't split bills". I kindly stepped aside and asked if they could split the bill because it was $300 for a party of six, but everyone had VERY different spends: as low as $16 and as high as $60-70. He came back to the table with a nasty disposition and we ultimately just paid all on one bill since he was huffing and puffing about it. Gratuity was an automatic 20%. Service didn't match. Food: My friends were raving about the food the whole time we were there! I only got to experience the prosciutto arugula flatbread, and I must agree, it was tasty and fresh !. As stated the menu is "small plates" so be open to ordering multiple things (and spending a bit more money) in order to get full. We had the bottomless mimosas. They had a mimosa bar while we were there for bottomless mimosas, so you had the option of adding different flavors to your mimosa or different fruit . She ensure that our glass was never empty and continued to check in on us to see if there's anything we needed and made great recommendations as in regards to menu item or to see if we needed anything an additional. She was great highly recommend seeing Tasha but to be honest everyone was amazing. The entire staff was super sweet. Everybody was so kind and I can't say enough great things about the staff. I was finally able to check this spot out after it being open for a few months. The space is super cute! The colors throughout are very bright and floral and does give an overall "girly" feeling to it. Sat at the bar (love how comfy the chairs are btw!) and ordered the Truffle Fries, Teriyaki Meatballs, and the Prosciutto Arugula Flatbread to eat and the Sparkling Brut and Sparkling Rosé to drink. There was a bit of a mixup when the order came so, I was also able to try the Burrata Flatbread. The Teriyaki Meatballs were really good and the pieces of pineapple that came with it were an unexpected but nice accompaniment. The Burrata Flatbread was decent and I really liked the fresh Thai Basil and Cherry tomatoes on it. However, the Prosciutto Arugula Flatbread was the real star and it was delicious! The Truffle Fries were nice and crispy and you could definitely taste the truffle flavor without hesitation. I also had no complaints about how chilled and bubbly my glasses of sparkling wine were. The decor is absolutely adorable. I considered it the perfect place for a bridal shower until I seen two dogs, casually, walking around; paws on the tables. I'm just not that girl and that's where they lost me. Before seeing that, my friend and I had a glass of champagne with the red velvety cake. The champs was super good. I don't remember the name. The red velvet cake couldn't have been made in house. It was shipped in or store bought for sure but def not home made. The plate was drizzled with honey, something I've never had with red velvet cake before. It wasn't terrible, but not work $12. I do not know if there is live music every night. We came for a 6pm reservation and were informed that there is a 2 hour time cap due to the size of the venue, which is understand. We were told we needed to be out by 745pm. 730pm rolls around and we are wrapping up, going to the restroom before leaving. The owner came over at this time to inform us the she needed the table for the next group and asked if we could move to the bar. We had 15 min left til 745pm - The owner began to clear the table in a rush and caused an empty bottle of wine to break. One that we paid for to take home as a keep sake. Again we were rushed to leave, no care for the injured bleeding birthday girl. Just a teeny tiny band aid. I had 2 mocktails, the only name I remember is the garden spritz but that and the other one was great. For food, I tried the truffle fries, crab cake and shrimp skewers. Everything was good. The standouts would definitely be the shrimp skewers and the sauce that came with the truffle fries, making them great. Our server was great, it was a large party so gratuity was included(20%). I spent about 75$ for all the things listed about, including the gratuity. FYI for large parties they don't accept more than 4 cards and they are also cashless. Never again will I ever recommend this place! The place is beautiful service and drinks are ass. The service in particular!! First of all I reserved for us to sit inside and when we get there they sit us outside due to the inside being reserved for a private party. If they booked it for a party the least they could've done was add it to their website. Also they sat us outside next to a propane heater which we asked multiple times to turn down because we were burning up. On top of that, it took out waiter a good 15 minutes to get us waters another 15 to take down some drinks and 20-25 for our drinks to come out. I came for happy hour on a Friday night and ordered a glass of rosé, pineapple teriyaki meatballs, and cheesy potatoes. The meatballs were great, but the rosé was mediocre, and the potatoes were flavorless. When I asked to replace them with fries, I was told I'd be charged for both--frustrating. I also noticed two women with dogs leaving the restaurant, which felt unsanitary in an enclosed space. Lastly, the manager/owner was coughing persistently near drinks and food. I have to tell you right out the gate that this place is pretty and has a very promising future. Located within the parking deck (where yes you do have to pay) is convenient and offers outside seating. Pinky promise does take reservations and also has selected nights for different events so check website before coming. The atmosphere was welcoming, airy and staff was super friendly. They offer a happy hour menu that has some very delightful items such as the ones listed in this review. All the food that we ordered came out in a timely fashion and seasoned well ( pretty important to me). Management was on hand and even though this restaurant has only been open 2 months I have to say it ran that night like a well oiled machine. The owner was very gracious and welcoming via Instagram when I booked my party and when my crew and I arrived, they were so gracious to us and attentive to my table. I had a party of about 18 people so the entire back of the restaurant was all ours! The servers informed us about their free happy hour drinks during the happy hour from 6-7pm so the drinks were definitely flowing!! I had the shrimp skewers and meatballs. For entertainment, there was piano karaoke so that was the highlight of the evening. I had an amazing time at Pinky promise this past Sunday I celebrated a birthday with family and friends. From start to finish everything was amazing. The ambience was great. The server was very pleasant, and the hostess was amazing and very helpful, the owners even came by to assist the table. We had a party of about 15 so we pretty much had the back of the restaurant all to ourselves, I also love the fact that they were able to do individual checks. I will definitely be back if you were looking to celebrate a birthday or anniversary definitely go to pinky promise. They were able to seat us outside with heating lamps since we didn't have a reservation but moved us inside when a table opened up. The drinks were SO good and so was the food! I got the peach and goat cheese salad, 10/10. And then to drink I got the Como la flor to drink, another 10/10. Honestly all the drinks looked so good, my friend got Loretta's Elixir and it was like a tropical vacation in a cup. However, even though it's pet friendly, dogs shouldn't walk up to you as you are eating and the owner should not be holding a dog while she's making drinks behind the counter.
