Beef rib

Don't walk, run (drive, uber if drinking) to this gem in the historic sweet Auburn neighborhood. Engulfed with charm from the second you step in the door. Service is exquisite (thanks Mr. Paul). House bread was amazing and on the house. We ordered hoecakes, salad, ribs, fried green tomatoes for appetizers. I recommend all but if you must choose just one then go with the ribs or fried green tomatoes. Beef rib and brisket for main course. Both were very tasty and expertly smoked in their on-site offset smoker. Cornbread cheesecake to top us off for our dessert. Soooo delicious. This place is the total package.

Brunch at Auburn Angels was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, it felt less like a crowded brunch spot and more like a private daytime dining experience. Calm, elevated, and centered on quality. The host was warm and welcoming, the chef was operating at a high level, and the bartender delivered incredible spirits along with thoughtful mocktails that paired perfectly with the meal. Now let's talk food because this is where Auburn Angels truly separates itself. The brisket Benedict is unreal. Rich, tender brisket layered with perfectly balanced flavors. It tastes just as incredible as it sounds, maybe even better. We also had hotcakes that were light, fluffy, and indulgent in the best way, plus a breakfast sandwich absolutely loaded with fresh house sausage and all the good stuff, bursting with flavor in every bite. What really stood out was the focus. No chaos. No distractions. Just beautifully crafted food and an experience you can actually enjoy. Hands down, this is the best Sunday brunch in Atlanta. I stamp it. This is the kind of place you go when you want to eat well, relax deeply, and float through the rest of your Sunday on cloud nine in a food coma of pure happiness. Auburn Angels is surpassing brunch spots across the city by leaps and bounds. If you care about quality, atmosphere, and unforgettable flavors, this is the one.

Went here with a group of friends and had Ana amazing time. The decor and aesthetic are so beautiful. The staff are so amazing and kind. The food tasted amazing. Parking is limited. You have to park on the street. We were told there are some pay lots in the vicinity, but we found parking on the street. It is limited, but it's an option. When you arrive, you are greeted by a really sweet hostess. We went as soon as they opened, so we didn't have a wait, but we had a reservation too. Our server's name was Greer. She took really good care of us and gave amazing suggestions. I had the Sunshyne to drink and I loved it. The bartender, Kadeem, really knows how to pour. We sat at a cute table in the middle of the floor and also had a booth. Our party was pretty big. Their seating is so cute. Really gives a chic, upper west side vibe. I loved the plates and cutlery too. Everything here was NIIIIIICE (Tiffany Haddish voice). Our food took a while to come out, but it was worth the wait and again we had a big party. The biscuits were homemade and tasted so good. The deviled eggs were also really good. The Big Mama was a dish that almost everyone in the group requested and they were all satisfied with their choice. If you want good food, good service, and good vibes please come here. There are some cute photo opps here too.

This restaurant has considered vegans and pescaterians. Everyone in your party should be able to enjoy brunch here. They accept reservations, and I highly recommend them due to the size and popularity. There is free street parking on the side and behind the restaurant, or you can find paid parking across the street on Auburn. Service was good, I appreciate that we didn't feel rushed. I don't recommend coming here if you're in a hurry. Everything is cooked to order, and the food did not come out quickly. It's not a complaint, just something to be aware of. When the food did arrive at the table, it was warm and beautifully plated. The smoked salmon tart was absolutely delicious. The tart was flaky and buttery and filled with a tasty smoked salmon cream cheese mouse $10. Brulee French toast $17 was some of the best French toast Ive had in Atlanta. My only complaint is that it didn't include all the ingredients listed on the menu, I didn't have any berry compote. The lemoncello macarpone paired perfectly with the dish, it is sweet, so I'm glad the server recommends I get it on the side. Everyone at my party enjoyed their food, and some said 10/10, and I agree. I'm looking forward to returning to try some of their additional menu items.

Saw a recent social media post about Chef Rob and his creations for Auburn Angel and I just HAD to come for dinner! I've tried his cooking at local food festivals and enjoy going to the restaurants he cooks for. My sisters and I were so excited to visit and almost tried everything on the menu. Our dinner started with a veggie & potato broth garnished with a rice cake puff and lemon pepper that was sooooooo good! We continued on to try the Hoecakes and Potlicker, Seafood Hand Pie, and Moonshine and Little Necks for starters. The hoecakes were a true Southern treat and the collard green garnish could be served solo by itself, it was so savory and tender. The seafood pie was in a flaky buttery pastry and the sauce for the clams in moonshine and little necks had everyone wanting to lick the bowl! Our mains were the mushroom cassoulet, red fish bolognese and short rib bourguignon. Omg! Flavor overloads! The star dish was definitely the short rib, with a very sizable portion. Our water for the evening was very personable and made excellent recommendations. The restaurant interior is casual chic and charming. This gem is a must try! Parking is a little tricky to find but other than that everything was spectacular.

Fell upon this spot and what a great find it was. Started a Breakfast at Barneys, line to long. Leave there heading to Sweet Auburn Brunch, while at the light to make the left on Auburn Ave...I see this restaurant. Go to Sweet Auburn Brunch, get on the waiting list. We decided to take the walk to Auburn Angel since there was a wait, what a great decision it was! Now we can get into it!! They do have a covered outside eating area but it wasn't set up to be occupied. Walked in and the ambiance was lovely. They didn't have a wait so we stayed and gave them a try. Come with good company because you may have a wait, we sure did but well worth it! We started with the Deviled Eggs and Salmon... both amazing! To drink we had the UNC... small but it packed a punch, really good. For my entree, I had the Auburn ****Sammie....yummy!! Very filling. It did get a little warm in there, but for the most part it was manageable. It wouldn't stop me from going back. I had such great company and great conversation, I forgot to get pics of the restaurant but I sure didn't forget my food though

The Most Underwhelming Meal in Atlanta Wow!! Amazing environment. Great music. Super cool servers. The food, not so much. Beautiful presentation... Unfortunately, this is not a repeat.

The food: superb! The ambiance: chill and warm at the same time! The service: Haley was sooooo awesome! We will be back!

I had a wonderful first time experience at this restaurant. The host was friendly and accommodating since we had a new born with us. She made sure we were comfortable. Simone was our waiter and she was so hospitable! We had the muffins, rib tips, frango chicken, lamb, and blueberry cobbler. Everything was amazing and fresh. The portion sizes were just right allowing us to try multiple menu items and enjoy a three course experience. The restaurant recently opened and I know if they continue providing the positive experience we had tonight, it will have great success!

At the time of this review, this restaurant had only been open for a couple of months so, I was looking forward to seeing what they were all about. It is conveniently located between Downtown and O4W, but parking may be an issue unless you get lucky and find some street parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. As you enter, the space isn't huge, but it is very nicely decorated and welcoming. I sat at the bar and ordered the Cacio e Pepe and Lamb Burger to eat and for cocktails, I had the Cussin Granny and an Espresso Martini. The Cacio e Pepe was delicious and I enjoyed the black truffles on it, but I will have to say that even though it was described as a "small plate" the portion was much smaller than expected given the price point. The Lamb Burger was also tasty, though I wish it was served on a bun rather than sliced bread to make it a little easier to eat instead of having to "fork and knife" it. The Cussin Granny was really good and was essentially their take on a spicy margarita; and I like the Espresso Martini though I wish it tasted more like espresso and a little less like cocoa. The service was friendly, which is always a plus for me so overall it was a good experience. I would like to return to try some other items as well as more cocktails once they expand their drink menu.

Auburn Angel is here to stay! With an eclectic yet romantic interior, a well stocked wine menu, friendly staff, and a solid location, Auburn Angel is destined to attract foodies. Kyle, our bartender, took the time to walk us through the menu and wine list, with the utmost care. Asa's attention to detail is crystal clear right when you walk in. His creativity fills every corner of the room, top to bottom, window to wall. I settled on a Portuguese white wine, and the Lamb burger paired with Yuca chips and dehydrated dill pickle sprinkles, and it did not disappoint. 10/10 I'd recommend this to anyone with an upcoming date night... ATL FOODIES REJOICE!

Had the chance to check out Auburn Angel, a new restaurant led by Executive Chef Robbie Pacheco. Beautiful decor, absolutely loved the marble floors. Food was excellent. Drinks were delicious! Service was amazing. Highly recommend checking out this new spot if you are in the area

The Sunday brunch was really AMAZING! I prefer the brûlée French toast with house made chicken sausage. I met the co-owners, who were both friendly and passionate about the curated menu.

Brûlée friend toast and in house made chicken sausage. Excellent!

The cuddle fish was well fried and very crispy, the sauce that came with it tied everything together. Little sweet, little spicy, little hot of twang. Was amazing. Mapo tofu was extremely good, was exactly what I wanted after a long day. Smooth tofu, lots of spicy and tingly goodness, and the rice with it was perfect. Service was good, was really quick for pick up. And the place is super clean and really well spaced out inside. I would dine in here if I could have. Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

The covered patio is beautiful and much quieter than the rest of the restaurant. This is a fusion spot with mostly Spanish and Latin American influences. The food isn't the best you've ever had, but it's decent and the restaurant's neighborhood is cute and fun. It's a great place to hang out for the day, and Bar.bacoa is a good choice if you have 3 people or less in your party. The group size is about maximizing the value you get here. The portion sizes are small for tapas. The paella was $24 but would be hard-pressed to feed just two people. The ham and cheese empanadas were $12 and came with two empanadas. These rates aren't bad for tapas if your group is small, but any group larger than 3 is going to start losing on the value-to-price ratio. When it comes to the tacos, they're $6 each for tacos that are not new or outstanding, so I would lean on the tapas instead.

Holeman and Finch is known for its burger, and deservedly so, but I can't stress enough how good the other food and drink are here. Looking at the current list of Atlanta restaurants in the Michelin Guide, I think Holeman and Finch deserves to be included. I wonder why they got snubbed. Holeman and Finch relocated to Colony Square in Midtown in February 2023. The restaurant validates parking in the Colony Square garage for two hours. We stayed just over two hours and ended up paying $6. I like to enter and exit the garage via Peachtree St NE. There's also an entrance/exit on 14th St NE, next to The Starling hotel. We used to go to the original location in Brookwood/South Buckhead circa 2010 when only 24 burgers were made per night and released at 10pm. Holeman and Finch existed in that location from 2008 to 2020. It was quite the Yelp hot spot: https://www.yelp.com/biz/holeman-and-finch-atlanta-2 This new location at Colony Square is way more spacious and looks great. There's indoor and outdoor (covered and uncovered) seating. The atmosphere is that of a modern, upscale pub. It's nice. Reservations can be booked on OpenTable, so get those dining points. Our server said the brunch menu was served until 4pm. Here's what my wife and I had: Drinks: * H&F Bloody Mary ($14) * Iced Tea - half sweet, half unsweet ($5) Graze: * Naturally Served Oysters ($5 each) - cocktail sauce, mignonette, buttered saltines, horseradish - Lowcountry Cups - Charleston, SC - Dukes of Topsail - Topsail Sound, NC - Dixon Point - New Brunswick, Canada * Deviled Egg Trio ($9) - classic, country ham, and Pickapeppa mayo * Hand Chopped Sirloin Steak Tartare ($20) - capers, horseradish, egg yolk, chips * Simple Lettuces ($15) - citrus vinaigrette, crisp shallots, fromage blanc, pecans Sandwiches: * H+F Cheeseburger ($28) - certified Angus and Hereford beef, onions, Kraft, fries Plates: * Housemade Scottish Gravlax ($18) - toasted brioche, fried Pantelleria capers, lemon dill clabber * Holeman + Finch Vegetable Plate ($32) - "all that is best from our Southern farms" Dessert: * Sticky Toffee Pudding ($14) - vanilla ice cream Everything, down to the sweet tea, was fantastic. The Bloody Mary was strong and so delicious that I gulped it down. All of the dishes were beautifully plated and finished. The oysters were fresh, superb quality, and cleanly shucked. They forgot the crackers, but that's okay. I highly recommend the deviled eggs. They were perhaps the best we've ever had anywhere. If you're unfamiliar with Pickapeppa, it's a sweet and savory Jamaican brown sauce that is used to make the mayo for this dish. There was nothing "simple" about the Simple Lettuces salad. It was pretty much a perfect, tasty, and refreshing salad. As for the H+F Cheeseburger, it's a classic and continues to be one of the best burgers around. Every bite is just so good, and the ketchup and mustard remain distinct. If you've never had the burger before, get it here or at H&F Burger at Ponce City Market. The Truist Park version isn't the same and I've never tried the Mercedes-Benz Stadium version (the old Turner Field version was legit, though). If you like gravlax, wow - the gravlax here is amazing and really well made. The Vegetable Plate was terrific as well. It featured potatoes, okra, beans, succotash, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and more with a fried onion ring on top. It's a great dish to share. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was top-notch - exceptional texture and flavor, and perfectly paired with a scoop of dense vanilla ice cream. Our server was Jonathan R. He was friendly and took great care of us. A manager checked on us too.

E Ramen + in Midtown Atlanta. What can I say?…read more First off, beautiful space. But somehow, the bowl of ramen is even more beautiful. seriously, it looks like a work of art that I'm clearly afraid to mess up! I went with the Signature Ramen, and this thing absolutely hits the spot. Pork broth, pork belly, ground pork, green onions, soft-boiled egg, seasonal vegetables, and chili oil. On paper, it sounds like a lot going on. In the bowl, everything just works. Every element was executed perfectly. The chew of the noodles, the crunch of the bamboo, the gooey soft-boiled egg, the tenderness of the pork belly--it's all there. And pairing the chashu with the ground pork? Next level. You get two completely different textures and flavors from the pork, and somehow they complement each other perfectly. The broth has that richness you want from a good bowl of ramen without needing to rely on a bunch of extras to make it interesting. The chili oil adds just enough to bring everything together. Honestly, I have nothing more to add here. It's just good. Really good. Sometimes you don't need a long explanation.
