And my scallops tasted like ammonia with hard risotto. As mentioned earlier, the service is good so the waitress took care of the steak. But unfortunately for me, I was too full to eat my dinner there and was stuck with the ammonia-tasting scallops and hard risotto at home . The Worst Bar Experience We've Had in Atlanta We visited this place with a group of friends for drinks and food, but from the moment we arrived, it failed to live up to the hype. The restaurant enforces a two-hour table limit, yet it took nearly 20 minutes before anyone came to take our order. Even after ordering, basic service was lacking. We weren't given enough plates, and no cutlery was provided. We repeatedly had to track down our waitress just to get the essentials. The food was probably the only positive aspect of the visit, although it was average at best. What was most disappointing was the way one of the staff members (their DJ) spoke to my friend when she was trying to take her child to the restroom. The interaction was unnecessarily rude and left a very negative impression. I've visited hundreds of restaurants and bars around Atlanta and have never experienced such poor service. Between the disorganized staff, lack of basic hospitality, and rude treatment of customers, this is not a place I would recommend. I will not be returning. read more

Drove all the way to DrawBar for the first time, only to be told that the bar was closed and they were only serving food because the bartender "doesn't come in until 3:00 PM." Very disappointing and unprofessional, especially considering the establishment is called "DrawBar." What made the experience even more confusing was that, as I was leaving, another couple mentioned they had just been served cocktails at the bar .To top it off, I had already paid to valet my vehicle. We reserved the outdoor dining space for $150, because apparently ambiance now comes with a cover charge for a bachelor party weekend. The expectation? Good energy, solid food, memorable vibes. What we received instead felt like a live-action social experiment in delayed gratification... without the reward. We were seated at 8:20 PM. Our food arrived at 10:10 PM. Now, I'm no stranger to anticipation. I've waited on big moments in life. But waiting nearly two hours for dinner while watching your drinks slowly dissolve into flavored water? That's not anticipation. That's character development nobody asked for. Speaking of drinks, by the time they reached us, the ice had completed its full life cycle. What we ordered as cocktails arrived as philosophical statements on impermanence. Appetizers? They made a bold artistic choice to arrive after the entrees... or not at all. Still unclear. At some point, hunger turned into confusion, and confusion turned into negotiation. We politely asked: if we leave, how do we get our deposit back? The answer was reasonable, refund granted, just pay for the drinks (the same drinks that had been aging like disappointment at the bar). And then, miraculously, our food appeared. Instantly. As if our request to leave activated a hidden "Oh wow, they're serious" button in the kitchen. Unfortunately, by then, hunger had left the chat. One guest ordered a well-done burger. It arrived... with ambition, but not completion, it was basically rare. Another ordered a salad, which made a brief cameo on the bill but never in real life. Hydration? We received one water refill over the course of nearly two hours. I've had plants with better watering schedules. Now, I will say this: our server was kind. Genuinely. But kindness alone can't carry an entire operation. We saw her once every thirty minutes or so, and it wasn't packed! And just when we thought the night had delivered its final punchline, a roach casually emerged from beneath the table, as if to personally thank us for dining there... and possibly to continue the evening with us elsewhere. We opted for the sofa then ordered drinks and appetizers. The spicy options were calling us so the deviled eggs and spicy shrimp were a must. To drink - the Bulltibi and Lychee Martini. Father's Day Dinner for 4 We arrived at The Interlock and parked in the designated lot, using ParkMobile to handle payment. We walked around for a few minutes--it took us a little while to locate the actual restaurant. It was our first time coming here, so we had to ask around a bit, but we eventually found it. We already knew ahead of time that they don't take reservations unless you're in a group of 8 to 12, so we planned to arrive early and just go with the flow. Luckily, our timing was perfect. We got there right on time and were able to grab a great outdoor table for four, right near the door. Once we got settled, we were handed menus. Those paper menus have seen better days, they were a little worn and wrinkled. Our server came by shortly after to take our drink orders. The menu offers a nice variety, with creative cocktails, shareable small plates, and hearty entrée options. My wife went with a Heineken, I ordered a Bearded Iris Homestyle IPA, our oldest chose a sweet tea, and our youngest picked the bright blue martini-style drink--Betty's Blue Lemonade. When the server returned, we were ready to place our food orders. The girls both went with cheeseburgers, while Wifey and I decided on the Surf & Turf Pasta. When I first saw "Surf & Turf," I assumed the turf would be beef, but it turned out to be chicken--which was actually right up my alley. While we waited, we took in the setting--it's hard not to appreciate the beautiful city views from our table. The food came out quicker than expected. The Surf & Turf Pasta was delicious--rich and flavorful with a spicy kick. For me, it was perfect, though for Wifey, it edged a little close to her spice limit. Still, she enjoyed it, but didn't finish the large portion. Perfect, more for me later. The girls were happy with their burgers, and everything was served fresh and hot. What really sets this place apart is the combination of great views and the seamless indoor-outdoor layout. It creates an ideal atmosphere for relaxing and catching up. Always classy, always a vibe. I appreciate that it's accessible from both sides of the Interlock (which is huge), so it's never hard to get there. The drinks are worth the price (shoutout to the bartenders), and the holiday decorations were a great touch. I had two of the Bleu Betty (for the dirty martini lovers...it was everything). I also appreciate that patio is heated, so being outside can still be comfortable on some nights. A very comfy furniture inside and outside. My friend took to long to decide and it took another 10 mins for her to get her French 75. We were ignored for another hour until she flagged them down for another drink. When we finally asked for the check I was being charged $18 and I was very confused, I had one ginger beer. They got the orders confused fixed it but they tried to over charge her for 3 drinks! The presentation was nice and it came out in a timely fashion considering it stays pretty busy. The shrimp was well seasoned and so were the wings. I ordered a citrus mocktail (not sure what's in it), and my friend got the Hotlanta margarita. She enjoyed her drink and said it had good kick of spice to it. The view of the ATL skyline outside is also pretty nice and you'll find the outdoor seating to be full always at night. We ordered When Life Gives You Lemons and we were utterly disappointed. The description made the drink sound so enticing and yummy but it just tasted like vodka and Powerade with a candied lemon as decoration. My partner and I were guests at the the hotel and decided to come down for brunch. When we arrived it wasn't super busy so we took our seats. We chatted for a bit and then I headed over to the hotel cafe to get some cold brews. It took about 15 minutes. When I got back, the waitress had come over and dropped off menus and water and was chatting with partner. At that point we had asked if they could lower the shade outside a bit. After this, we waited about another 15 minutes and our waitress never came back to take our order and the restaurant was not busy. They also never came back to lower the shade. During this time another waiter walked past and we asked about the shade and he said he'd be back in a moment to do it and never came back. I eventually went to the bar and stated that we had been waiting quite some time and no one came back to take our order and how we requested the shade lowered 2x and no one had lowered it. He apologized and came right over and took our order. We ordered the hot shrimp, steak and eggs and pancakes. The hot shrimp was really good! It came out piping hot. It was crispy and the juicy, the added slices of peppers and aioli were REALLY good. The pancake was also delicious. Perfect balance of crispy and fluffy! The steak and eggs were extremely underwhelming. We ordered our steak medium and it arrived well done. It was gray and bland, literally tasted like no salt or pepper were used prior to being cooked. The chimichurri on top of it was also bland. There was no acidity or heat, or any flavor. It basically was overcooked, bland meat with some herbs on top. The eggs were cooked well (I prefer a softer scramble). Overall, the staff were nice but not very prompt. They did respond well when we expressed some frustration with the service. The food was just ok. If we ever stay at this hotel again, I think we'll skip the food at this restaurant and go elsewhere. read more

We came here for a Mother's Day brunch for my mom this past Sunday. It was overall a pretty decent experience. I do think certain things could've been better though. I'll start off by saying that it's definitely a beautiful venue. There's a lot of nice decorations and it has a modern aesthetic. The service is also definitely good. I feel that everybody was really friendly with us though our server did take a while to come around at times, but I didn't really fault her for that. However, the Mother's Day brunch food that we ate was Not the best. It was a brunch buffet, which I usually love but a lot of the menu items just tasted OK versus good and even though they seemed to be served over heaters, the food was basically cold by the time we ate it. Also, given the cost of the brunch buffet, I don't think it was worth how much it was. I don't know how this compares to their normal menu, but that was my experience, but I will say my mom had a great time. They had a violinist that was there and as you can see in this video, I've attached with her, she was really enjoying herself so three stars to me seems the most fitting. read more

It was brutally overcooked but I did not send back. The char was great. The bun was soft. The fries were hot. Several other burgers were also over cooked. Someone ordered steak which was cooked as requested. The wings looked good too but I didn't ask how they were. Many of us had old or ola fashioneds. Those were a good pour but 25$ a pop! Wow! What a gorgeous place to grab a drink and check out the city skyline! They serve a full menu but we only stopped by for a cocktail on a Saturday afternoon. It surprisingly wasn't too busy and we were able to sit at the bar, grab a drink and head outside to check out the views. The bar and surrounding space is beautiful. Tons of seating and sitting areas. The outside space is equally as beautiful with first come, first served style seating. We did see a few servers walking around that could assist you outside. The views were lovely - you can see the city skyline and I bet it's even better in the evening. Our bartender was very sweet and helpful. He was calm and mellow.
