The Cucumber Salad was one of the most interesting drinks I have had because it genuinely tasted like a cucumber salad. It was fresh, crisp, and unlike anything else I have tried. The Mango Sticky Rice, though, was the clear standout for me. It was sweet, balanced, and easily one of the best cocktails of the afternoon. For food, we ordered the 777 Platter, which came with Crispy Rice Tuna, Salt and Pepper Shrimp, and Isan Fried Chicken. Everything on the platter was good, but the Salt and Pepper Shrimp was the dish that really stood out. It was perfectly seasoned, crispy, and full of flavor. The Isan Fried Chicken was also a must-order. It had great texture and was one of those dishes that makes you want to keep going back for another bite. By the time we finished that round, we were already talking about what we would order the next time we came back. We also had another round of cocktails, the Cosmopolitan and the Paper Tiger, and both were just as enjoyable as the first round. Next came the Kimchi Fried Rice with Steak and a side of Edamame. The kimchi fried rice was easily one of my favorite dishes of the entire meal. It was rich, savory, comforting, and packed with flavor. It is the kind of dish I would come back for on its own. To finish, we had the Yuzu Donuts served with Matcha Ice Cream and the Black Jack Lava Cake, along with one final cocktail, the Good Time Girl. Both desserts were the perfect ending to the meal. They felt like the right balance of sweet and satisfying without being too heavy. What stood out most to me about Black Jack Bar Tapas was that every part of the experience delivered. The food was excellent, the cocktails were creative, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made the whole meal feel special. It is the kind of place where you want to stay a little longer just because the energy is so good. Out of every restaurant I have visited for Reservations in the City, Black Jack Bar Tapas has easily become one of my favorites.
