I went back inside and the order was ready I asked for a plastic bag and the girl at the front had no problem, giving it to me. Can someone say Delicious!!! I was visiting my boyfriend at work who recently was assigned at Dobbins AFB and was in search of something good to eat. After reading the reviews for the Hibachi stop I had to try it for myself. There is a small parking lot in front and an adjoining lot with ample parking next to it, so parking was simple. The restaurant is quaint but very comfy, clean and inviting on the inside. They have a few tables for dining in and also a television to enhance your experience. I love Hibachi and was excited about being able to go order and get my food in about 10 minutes without the hassle of having to sit around a big grill with a bunch of strangers and watch tricks. Don't get me wrong the Hibachi experience is very nice and great for any occasion especially with a group but often times when I am in the mood for it I just want the food not the experience. I ordered the Shrimp Hibachi which came with veggies and the option of white rice fried or not, I opted for my rice to be fried and asked to not include carrots. I also ordered a Spicy Tuna Roll which was made fresh along with the rest of my order. They added Yum Yum sauce to my to go bag along with soy sauce. My food was made with all fresh ingredients and was absolutely delicious. The quality of my food was as good as going to a fine dining Hibachi restaurant. Hibachi Stop far exceeded my expectations. I have seen a lot of take out spots popping up with Hibachi in the name but the quality is usually off. I'm super happy that this place has something that no other place near here offers. My new favorite spot near home, truly satisfy my poke bowl cravings! The entree items are not bad as well, I really like the spicy pork. i only wish there were more vegetable add on options and perhaps poke bowl lunch/dinner options . Three stars- After thumbing through Yelp, I committed to checking this place out. I walked in to order take out. I chose the shrimp hibachi option. It came in a standard white styrofoam to go box with a side of yum yum sauce. I will pause here to say that unlike some people, there are days that I forget yum yum sauce exists- there are people in my office who order so much of it that I think they would drink it out of a coffee mug. The yum yum sauce was very good. The meal was good and cooked well. There was wayyyyyyyy too much rice in the box and unlike the lack of protein indicated by a fellow Yelper, I counted 9 shrimp in my meal. Minus two stars-The parking lot while free and ample is a bear to navigate. The space are too narrow and the distance from the back of the space to the space behind one's car, is too short. Coupled with the fact that there where cars flying blindly around the corner off of Delk Rd made leaving the place a nightmare. Finally, the owner is a very grumpy man. He was gruff and rude AND, it is his restaurant and he gets to act and be how he wants to be. His poor customer service is punctuated with a sign that says All sales final. No refunds. at the counter. That verbiage says to me- we could serve you burnt food or something you didn't order- too bad. The food here is good and definitely cheaper than like a sit down hibachi restaurant. Oh yeah, this is a great fix for hibachi with friends for lunch that isn't too pricy and more casual/modern music. A big screen available near one of the tables and an intement environment assures an enjoyable laid back atmosphere. They may be new but the quality of their food is well practiced and studied. Just something different about this teriaki sauce you GOTTA try! Also, rest assured it comes complete with sushi choices and that Yami Yami sauce everyone knows and loves! This place is clean, food is pretty quick, and I love the bus window to watch your food being made in if you don't feel like kicking back at a table.
