We got miso soup, seaweed salad, Akebeko, Cilancho Hamcho & Tengokutodigoku. Everything tasted delicious! Quick & great service!

There's not a lot of places that have AYCE sushi in Georgia, so I'm really glad we found this spot. The AYCE rolls selection isn't the biggest, but there's all the basics plus a little extra (unless you want uni, then you're outta luck). They have a good variety of small dishes/appetizers, and all of those were surprisingly good. The chicken skewers and chicken bites were tender and juicy, and you can't go wrong with things like edamame and seaweed salad. Another plus were the rolls--they were small but mighty; plus, i prefer small rolls over giant ones if its AYCE. There's a good chunk of topping and the thinnest wrapping of rice around the sushi--toppings are also avocado heavy, which I know some people prefer. I also like that there's actual crab salad in the rolls and not just a block of kani--that extra bit of effort to make the crab salad goes a long way in terms of adding texture and flavor to rolls. The nigiri, on the other hand, had a lot of rice and a thin slice of fish--luckily, it's AYCE so you just eat your bite and move onto the rolls, but this will be disappointing for nigiri lovers. Service was okay--I feel like our waitress was serving 75% of the restaurant so she was either across the room or in the kitchen most of the time. When we did see her though, she was all smiles and very friendly. This is the best AYCE sushi joint we've have in Georgia so far so I'll definitely be back!

I had a wonderful experience at Sushiolody. You can call me a sushi snob since I've Tokyo Nobu sushi experiences dozens of times. I had a desire for sushi while visiting my sister in Georgia. I did not expect mush at all, but sushi was fresh & delicious. The place is clean, well-decorated and service was friendly and proper. I would like to have my sushi had unnecessary "sauces" such as mayonnaise and heavy eel sauce. But I know how most people would prefer. I recommend this place.

Happened to be in the Kennesaw area and this placed popped up after a Google search. Went by here and really nicer the nice and intimate feel inside. We were seated reacher quickly and our server was extremely nice. I ordered the sushi, Shanghai fried rice, and had pink sake. The sushi was ok, but that fried rice! Very nice and unique flavor! I couldn't eat it all because they gave a very nice portion. As for the sake, let's just say I was glad I didn't have to drive. That was the first time I had sake served cold and it was very tasty. I would go back again if I were EVER in Kennesaw again. I recommend you try it as well!

I used to LOVEEEEE this place. I went recently and it has completely changed. The service was HORRIBLE. I never saw my waitress even though it was dead in there. We had to get other people who worked there to service us. They tried to charge us for leftover sushi because we had TWO pieces left. They didn't bring out some of our items. The quality was gone down tremendously. Not to mention the price has gone UP BUT the quality had gone DOWN. Please make that make sense. Don't come here. It's not worth it. We keep saying we should've went to sushi village over here because of how bad our experience was. The servers don't care about you. They all hid in the back. Most of the menu items are average or just terrible. Don't waste your time here.

    Rolls

Some of the smallest rolls I have ever seen. This is what $60 gets you! Should've gone to a steakhouse instead...

I was surprised to find a good sushi place in Kennesaw. This is a new place. I've never tried before and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and upscale, but not stuffy at the same time. We had great service and the waitress provided some excellent recommendations. We had older and younger guests with us and everybody was able to find something on the menu that they liked cooked items Ramen to sushi and even tiramisu which was a surprise but was pretty good actually. I love sushi and would love to come back again and try several more of their signature rolls.

We've ordered one of our fave sushi items, Spicy Tuna Rolls, a few times to try it again hoping it improves and unfortunately it didn't. It's very heavy on cucumber but doesn't have much flavor in the rice or the tuna. It has a nice kick of spice but really tastes more like spicy cucumber rolls. Just very bland and not worth the price.

The best sushi restaurant!!! Everything is always so fresh and delicious. I am wowed by this place each time we come here. I haven't had anything that has been the least bit disappointing. This time we had the spam musubi to start, chutoro, maguro, unagi sashimi, Dai Fish, Tunaception, and Hanabi rolls. Everything was so good! We will be returning many more times.

The best sushi place in Kennesaw. We took advantage of an all you can eat that requires reservations and absolutely tore in. I've never had as much quality sushi in one sitting. Clean restaurant with fresh cooked to order food. High quality place and comfortable environment. Our waitress was friendly and set the vibe. This is the only place I will go in Kennesaw for sushi from now on. Outstanding experience!!!

This was my 2nd visit to this spot and it didn't let me down. I sat at the bar since it was just me & they were jam packed for lunch. It's a pretty small/intimate setting. The waiter was friendly & helped me narrow down my options. I went with his suggestion, the Poke Don, & it was delicious + filling! I'd recommend this spot if you're in the area & looking for fresh/delicious sushi.

My most recent visit was on yesterday as I had a day off and wanted to take time to unwind after my morning appointment. I arrived a little before noon. My appetizer of choice: Pork Goyza My entrée of choice: Spicy chicken Ramen with extra spice and an egg Initially, I started off with a Coke zero but then said heck why not I'm off today so I indulged in a lychee martini and switched it up to a Ringo Mule (my new fave). It started to get a bit busy about 35 minutes because it was a work week and lunch hour, but it was not overwhelmingly packed. They had a deal for $5 for 5 sides where you could get a whole trayful of tteokbokki and a good deal on their "Seoul bowl" which was a meat, 2 dumplings and a side. I understand that the economy has changed a lot in the recent years so they could not maintain their prices. However, I found that the quality of food was also declining while prices continued to rise. This last time I visited, I got the kimbap and bowl (pork bulgogi and japchae). This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. The kimball was falling apart, so much that it was difficult to eat. When you went to take a bite, all of the contents fell out. The bulgogi and dumplings were fine but the japchae was very bad. Like I said, I've been coming here for years and I have *never* seen the japchae look like this. It was dark and chewy like rubber. It was so bad that I couldn't even finish half of the side before I called it quits. I did reach out to the restaurant soon after and they were very apologetic and offered a refund. I am just disappointed that one of my favorite restaurants is changing so much. Additionally, they updated the menu recently and took off some items that I previously enjoyed (like the potato tornado). Most of all, I am disappointed in the tteokbokki deal. It is now $2.50 for 4 rice cakes (you can count them in the container). And I am also sad that the japchae wasn't good as this was my go-to place for Korean japchae cravings.

Today my wife and I were intentionally seeking out something spectacular. I found Soi 3 Thai Street Food here on Yelp (as one should do) and I felt good about what I saw, from the menu, to the pics, to the reviews. My god I'm glad we turned off of the main drag and came here. We were greeted and seated right away. We came a little early and it was not too busy. Service wise, our experience started off REALLY well. Our server was Tarik. This place better hang on to this guy. When I say it was the best service in 5 years in any restaurant I've eaten in lately, I am not exaggerating. We let him know that this was our first time in and asked for recommendations. He went through each of the sections with us and highlighted a few. He really knows the menu and that's increasingly rare these days in most restaurants. I landed on the Gai Yang Chicken which was a quarter chicken with both white and dark meat. This had the smokiest, garlicky flavor that I will dream about. It came with lettuce wraps, carrot sticks and the most amazing Nam Jim Jeaw sauce which was unreal. Fish sauce and fresh herbs and scallions. How could you go wrong? Tangy, herbaceous, a little sweet and salty. Pro move suggested by Tarik: Make lettuce wraps with what you get and dip it in the sauce. My wife had the Gaeng Massaman Gai. Hands down some of the best Massaman curry I have ever had anywhere. It was more brothy (is that a word?) than I've had, but a lot of times when you order this dish, the potatoes make it super thick. This was lighter with fresh potatoes and pearl onions that were sweet from the sauce, almost like grapes oddly enough. Really loved the textures of this dish. We had purple Jasmine rice which was excellent. The only slightly disappointing dish we had was our dumpling appetizer. Not a lot of flavor there and I would have loved a little heat in the sauce or the dumplings. Really not bad but I would have skipped that. The restaurant had a very nice vibe. The lighting was perfect for pics and ambience. Looked like it had a well stocked bar and many selections from wine to beer and cocktails. I absolutely loved this place and our experience and service was 10 stars! Will definitely ask for Tarik each time and we will be back. Run to this restaurant!

Admittedly, I was skeptical when I saw the limited menu and some of the options (I LOVE Thai food and have had variations in many parts of the world). BUT I was encouraged to know there were at least two vegan entree options on the menu. No. Never again. Not at all. The spring rolls were the most minuscule versions I've ever had. The casing was weird, to say the least, and the flavor was barely there. We ordered a broccoli entree to share. Check out the photos for yourself. WHERE IS THE BROCCOLI?!? My friend's meal was BLAND. My meal was better but the peppers were almost raw. The BEST thing we had was the roti. ROTI. At a Thai restaurant. The absolute best thing on the menu was roti?! No meatless curry options with ample veggies. Not one rice dish, served with veggies. Lots of chicken ‍. Lots of fish oil ‍. Roti was the best thing we ate. And don't even bother with the purple rice. Absolutely disappointed. The server was kind although our 2nd order of roti went to the wrong table - they gladly accepted it with no questions asked - because she was conducting what looked like an interview in between checking on our table. If you've read my reviews you know anything less than 4-5 stars is RARE. I honestly don't understand what happened during my experience at this restaurant but definitely will not be returning.

We love coming here, but it's not because the sushi is world class. Don't get me wrong, there are…read moresome really great sushi rolls on the conveyor belt that passes endlessly by. There is a robot that brings your drinks and a little train that brings your food that you order from a tablet. Who wouldn't find that fun?? This place is crawling with gamers, and students from Kennesaw State University. The idea is to stack as many plates as you can as you help your self to the many options that glide by. It's mesmerizing. You are charged by the plate and you can eat all you want. It is fairly cheap, and you can get hot food and noodles and plenty of other hot items. The fried ice cream is Fire! This place is just fun!

Some of the sushi options are already rotating around the restaurant on conveyor belts. They'll be a description listed before sushi type passes you by. You just pick up which one you would like. If sushi plate is black it was $3.99 a plate and had about 2-4 rolls included. If it was red it was $4+. From what I remember, I tried a California roll, the pink lady, plain shrimp and rice roll and another I forgot the name. I liked the idea of only having a few pieces so that you don't get full quick on one type of sushi roll and can try several others. All tasted great and were made fresh. I was on a diet but all of my friends tried the fried ice cream and fried cheese cake. They enjoyed both. I tried one of my friend's fried ice cream and really enjoyed it. The batter reminded me of funnel cake and ice cream was vanilla. My other friend who was there with his 2 sons had the chocolate version. They enjoyed theres as well. Service could be a bit better. We had to chase down the waiter for simple things like water and silverware. We struggled figuring out how to pay for our food and had to flag down someone to assist with that also. The dining hall is pretty casual but overall a cool unique sushi spot.
