The pros: the servers were nice, i had no wait despite many seated tables and fast service with my food and drinks coming out quickly. Nice drink selection. The okay: i got a rainbow roll it was packed with a good amount of imitation crab, the quality was maybe a step above grocery store. Nothing special or high quality. The meh: the Wow bao is a chicken bun, first i will say the bun was crispy, the sauce was nice but the chicken tasted like a microwaved patty from a school lunch cafeteria. There's not a lot of places that have AYCE sushi in Georgia, so I'm really glad we found this spot. The AYCE rolls selection isn't the biggest, but there's all the basics plus a little extra (unless you want uni, then you're outta luck). They have a good variety of small dishes/appetizers, and all of those were surprisingly good. The chicken skewers and chicken bites were tender and juicy, and you can't go wrong with things like edamame and seaweed salad. Another plus were the rolls--they were small but mighty; plus, i prefer small rolls over giant ones if its AYCE. There's a good chunk of topping and the thinnest wrapping of rice around the sushi--toppings are also avocado heavy, which I know some people prefer. I also like that there's actual crab salad in the rolls and not just a block of kani--that extra bit of effort to make the crab salad goes a long way in terms of adding texture and flavor to rolls. The nigiri, on the other hand, had a lot of rice and a thin slice of fish--luckily, it's AYCE so you just eat your bite and move onto the rolls, but this will be disappointing for nigiri lovers. Service was okay--I feel like our waitress was serving 75% of the restaurant so she was either across the room or in the kitchen most of the time. We were seated reacher quickly and our server was extremely nice. I ordered the sushi, Shanghai fried rice, and had pink sake. The sushi was ok, but that fried rice! Very nice and unique flavor! I couldn't eat it all because they gave a very nice portion. As for the sake, let's just say I was glad I didn't have to drive. That was the first time I had sake served cold and it was very tasty. I used to LOVEEEEE this place. I went recently and it has completely changed. The service was HORRIBLE. I never saw my waitress even though it was dead in there. We had to get other people who worked there to service us. They tried to charge us for leftover sushi because we had TWO pieces left. They didn't bring out some of our items. The quality was gone down tremendously. Not to mention the price has gone UP BUT the quality had gone DOWN. Please make that make sense. Don't come here. It's not worth it. We keep saying we should've went to sushi village over here because of how bad our experience was. The servers don't care about you. They all hid in the back. I had a wonderful experience at Sushiolody. You can call me a sushi snob since I've Tokyo Nobu sushi experiences dozens of times. I had a desire for sushi while visiting my sister in Georgia. I was surprised to find a good sushi place in Kennesaw. This is a new place. I've never tried before and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and upscale, but not stuffy at the same time. We had great service and the waitress provided some excellent recommendations. We had older and younger guests with us and everybody was able to find something on the menu that they liked cooked items Ramen to sushi and even tiramisu which was a surprise but was pretty good actually. We've ordered one of our fave sushi items, Spicy Tuna Rolls, a few times to try it again hoping it improves and unfortunately it didn't. It's very heavy on cucumber but doesn't have much flavor in the rice or the tuna. It has a nice kick of spice but really tastes more like spicy cucumber rolls. My wife and I have been here countless times, almost always for their all you can eat option, Sushinomics, and it has never disappointed. This is one of those places that stays consistent, which is honestly hard to find with sushi. The fish both looks and tastes incredibly fresh every single visit. The rolls are beautifully presented, practically art on a plate, and clearly made with care. The flavors are genuinely excellent, not just "good for all-you-can-eat." Everything tastes deliberate and well balanced. If I had to narrow it down, my top three rolls are the salmon citrus roll, the Philadelphia roll, and the rainbow roll. All three are outstanding for different reasons, but the salmon citrus roll in particular is something I look forward to every time. Also, if you're a yellowtail fan, this place absolutely delivers. Their yellowtail is delicious and easily one of my favorite things to order, whether it's in specialty rolls or simply as yellowtail nigiri. Service is always very attentive and friendly, and sushi usually comes out quickly, even during busy times. It makes the whole experience feel smooth and relaxed. hey so yea. service was okay at the start but got real awkward when i asked if the red onions were served pickled no communication was given to me about the situation but i was brought an entire plate of raw red onions. exactly what i didnt want. the staff proceeded, to ring me up for a plate of pickled onions.... in all caps the bao bun had dry borderline inedible pork inside. so dry i couldnt even chew it without it going in between every tooth. ive worked in the restaurant industry enough to know that a fool was being made of me and the situation. the bao bun is understandable but everything else..... not what i expect as a first time customer. Tammy the manager made it slightly better, only when going BACK in and specifically asking to speak to her. i went back inside after reaching my car and realized i need to hear from her before writing this review. the presence of a manager in situations involving miscommunication is key. the lack of presence from the jump was, off to me. its not what im used to especially at sushi restaurants. communication is essence especially for new customers and there was a large lack of that. i liked the music. the salmon roll had alot of fish. it was good just not great in the long run. might come back for all you can eat.... but i just feel really off about the intentions of staff read more

This email is directly for the owner of this company, Chun Shun Kwok. I have been a regular at your Sushiology location since the inception of your company (2016) and today was the last day that I will ever spend a single dollar at your establishment, nor will any of my 80 employees that work 5 minutes away. I brought my mother who had just moved to Georgia for the first time to one of my favorite restaurants in town for sushinomics. As I was going over the menu with her, we accidentally selected an order of 2 sakana box rolls, instead of two 2 Ontario rolls(which is what we truly wanted, and was located directly above the sakana box). When we received the rolls, I immediately advised the server of the mistake, which advised us that we had no choice but to keep the order at that point. Already frustrated, we decided to eat the only parts of the roll and leave the rest, to which our server returns to our table and advises us that we will be charged for the leftover rice. At this point, I couldn't believe the type of disservice that was happening. I've been to your establishment many times, and the waiters that have done a solid job have always confirmed the items on our sushinomics selection before placing the order in, but not this time, and so I advised the the server that we shouldn't have to pay for the negligence of service and confirmation of what food was ordered. As we continue to eat our other rolls, we receive a visit at our table from your manager, Tammy, who advised that she overheard the conversation with the server. I thought she was coming to apologize for the confusion and move on, but she instead advises that me that I was in the wrong for marking the incorrect food option, and that none of your servers ever confirm what is ordered on sushinomics. That was a complete LIE! the inconsistency from your own manager leads me to believe that you have the wrong people in leadership. Managers and leaders are problem resolvers, not complainers about the situation. She then proceeds to tell me that this is an often occurrence and people " just pay the up charge for the leftover rolls". I asked her for grace, being an 9 year customer of your establishment, and having spent THOUSANDS and recommending HUNDREDS to your location. Her response was "I'll see what I can do but no promises". After the meal, we receive our bill from our waiter with the full charges of your "leftover fee" and no follow up from Tammy. It never really costed me any money, as the $15 tip I was going to leave turned into a $0, but the stain that this will leave on your company will be heard from every part of Kennesaw. I work and lead one of the top dealerships 5 minutes from you, and I can PROMISE you, that you will be losing a lot more then the $10 overcharge you got today. You have your weak leadership team to thank for that. I hope this helps you grow as a company, as your "managers" turned what should have been a celebration, into a disaster. read more

Cooked to perfection. Could have used a tad more sauce but then perhaps the cauliflower would've been soggy by the time I got it home. Vegan Ramen (B+): very good. Not as good as Jinya's but a contender. Perfect sized to-go bowl. I was able to add all the miso with room to spare for mixing and eating without overflow. A solid sushi spot located in Marietta. Theres a variety of different menu items from fresh sushi to fried. For entrees you have several options as well which includes fried rice to ramen, salmon, and more. I tried the spicy tuna and crispy rice and enjoyed that a lot. It's a good shareable dish but I think it can be filling for one person. The wagyu was good too, and the meat was really marbelized. ordered takeout from Sushiology, one of our favorite restaurants. Ordered fried rice with egg scrambled in. got all the way home (20min each way) and the rice is made with runny eggs on it. Called the restaurant and first they said they'd give 20% off the next fried rice we ordered. Made no sense to me since the yolk was all over the rice. They said that the rest of the rice was fine and the egg should account for 20%. I was kind of baffled. Then I spoke to them again and they said they would credit for the fried rice in 10 business days. Such a poor way to handle their mistake. Not sure we will ever be back, not because we are that crazy about people making mistakes but more so because of the response and lack of ownership about their mistake. Edited to add that they did call me back about 30 minutes later to tell me they were going to refund the whole order. Sushiology has been our favorite sushi restaurant since they opened years ago! Sushinomics (unlimited sushi) is amazing. Only downside is it's gone from $26 to almost $40 a person for the unlimited, so we don't do that anymore. It's not cost efficient at that price. However, the quality and taste of the sushi is wonderful and we still get it individually! Only docking a star for price. read more

I came across this restaurant on my sushi hunt trip last weekend, and guess what? They have the BEST sushi ever, I know this is a big statement but trust me on this- their sushi is very fresh and taste A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! I'm usually not a huge fan of takoyaki, but theirs is so good! It has great flavors! Besides that, I also got the chicken skewers and those were so juicy. I can't wait to go back and have those again. Our server was really friendly and helped us with the menu.
