The sushi was out of this world, it was truly amazing I have tried sushi from many restaurants even as far as the DMV area but the shrimp tempura roll is the best I have tried ever! The chicken teriyaki and steak teriyaki was not too bad, something felt off the chicken itself lacked a bit of flavor and the steak was nothing insane definitely had way better from other restaurants, the yum yum sauce is perfection the most delicious yum yum sauce for sure, the service was average nothing crazy nothing bad just normal service, the presentation is beautiful that's what really made me and my girlfriend come to this place and eat! We've come here a couple times and really enjoyed it! The first time was a spontaneous trip. We found this gem on Yelp with its amazing reviews! The second time was on Christmas Day. We made a reservation for 12 people and got seated right away. The first came out fresh and surprisingly fast as it was a packed house. The hibachi meals come with salad and soup to start. Both starters were very tasty!! We also ordered the Colorful Butterfly Roll as an appetizer. It was presented beautifully and tasted even better! As an entree, I ordered the Salmon Hibachi which also came with 2 shrimp and fried rice (additional $2.50). The whole plate was delicious and perfectly cooked. I even had enough food for lunch the next day. Can't really ask for more than that! Our server was also a delight! He refilled our drinks so fast and brought out the food while it was still hot. Something has changed and I'm not thrilled... Today, the miso soup was so thin it was more like water broth with a hint of miso. Part of the sashimi on the sushi sashimi combo was tilapia. Tilapia is a bottom feeder that loves to eat excrement - in fact, if I am not mistaken that is what it is fed in some countries. Thanks very much but Tilapia oesn't belong on a well designed sashimi plate not only is it distasteful in origin it also tastes like mud. Yuk! read more

Wasabi is pretty spacious. I like the bar area to the right when you enter. They offer full menu dining at the bar, I've been to wasabi a couple times now and each time it's been consistent. My favorite here is the soft shell fried crab. They started offering this fried ebi karaage shrimp (called something else here - like a lollipop shrimp or something) and it's now become one of my favorites also. The sushi is pretty good here. I've had a couple, I want to say the Spider-Man roll is one of my top rolls here. There's a variety of sushi options from your regular rolls to really decked out ones. I think for sushi around the area, wasabi is a good choice. Their udon and ramen is good, and so is their hibachi dishes, but I would stick with their sushi. I think for other sushi places I've tried, wasabi is up there for sushi on my personal list. read more

We were so happy to have this experience after a day of work and driving. Diamond was the sweetest mostest attentive server. The food came out fast and was served at the correct temperatures. At least to our requirements. Calamari and edamame hot. Saki/Salmon room temperature. I have mixed feelings about this place. We've eaten in the dining room for lunch (once) and dinner (once) and we've ordered take-out sushi (once), in that order. Our dining in experiences have been good (4 to maybe 4.5 stars) and, to their credit, we were really impressed with the sushi presentations being delivered to other tables. Our non-sushi food wise was -- and a good value -- and we vowed to come back for the great looking sushi. Tonight we decided we wanted some sushi but decided to get it to go. When we got home, we found our sushi so crammed into the take-out containers that we couldn't even get many of the pieces out without them falling apart. The presentation couldn't have been more off-putting and some of the rolls were more like eating a rice bowl. Very disappointing. I regret not taking pictures, because they would have made it very clear to see what I'm trying to describe here. Might we go back for eat-in sushi? Maybe. But we definitely will never order take-out from them again.
