The sushi rolls were great, but both appetizers were a bit lacking (fried jalapeno tuna & yellowtail ponzu sauce). The service was ok honestly & there were only 2 other tables in there besides us so no need for servers to not come check back. We ended up having to get up two different times to track the server down to ask for stuff.

    Shrimp Tempura Roll

The sushi was out of this world, it was truly amazing I have tried sushi from many restaurants even as far as the DMV area but the shrimp tempura roll is the best I have tried ever! The chicken teriyaki and steak teriyaki was not too bad, something felt off the chicken itself lacked a bit of flavor and the steak was nothing insane definitely had way better from other restaurants, the yum yum sauce is perfection the most delicious yum yum sauce for sure, the service was average nothing crazy nothing bad just normal service, the presentation is beautiful that's what really made me and my girlfriend come to this place and eat! Overall really good place for sushi and definitely other dishes teriyaki might not be their specialty but that is not a reason to not visit!

Shut up and listen. This is the spot you're looking for. Food is excellent, fresher than Poseidon's taint. Services is friendly, like offensively kind. You're gonna have to flag someone to get a second drink, but the wine is fresh. Want to know their level of detail? Look at how nice my leftovers look!

Update- We celebrated various birthdays here. Great for a low cost meal with a show! This restaurant was not on my radar at all! I am so happy the other place we were supposed to ended up being too packed and 45 minute wait. We had no wait here, and it wasn't packed! I must say the food was really really really good. The service was impeccable, the portions were large and the Valerie for the meal was perfect! I loved my entire experience! My family and Thave found a new Hibachi spot in the area. The sushi was delicious and a surprise of night. The food was really tasty and well seasoned! Returned the next day, Around 2:00 pm with my daughter. Was told we were not able to get Hibachi bc the restaurant CLOSES at 2:30pm completely shuts down. No signs, no mention of this in the menu. So we sit down and have to order from the regular menu. The waitress was rude, she felt the need to interject her opinion as though someone asked her. She rushed us and five Minutes after we got our food she brought us to go boxes and explain it was time to go. I received the message loud and clear.

Went for my birthday and loved it! They treated me to a cute mug, gift card to use next time, a song and a treat.

Went for my birthday and loved it! They treated me to a cute mug, gift card to use next time, a song and a treat. The sushi was delicious! And the hibachi was also on point. Good portions. Cool environment. Will definitely be back for a special occasion as all sushi has gotten expensive.

We've come here a couple times and really enjoyed it! The first time was a spontaneous trip. We found this gem on Yelp with its amazing reviews! The second time was on Christmas Day. We made a reservation for 12 people and got seated right away. The first came out fresh and surprisingly fast as it was a packed house. The hibachi meals come with salad and soup to start. Both starters were very tasty!! We also ordered the Colorful Butterfly Roll as an appetizer. It was presented beautifully and tasted even better! As an entree, I ordered the Salmon Hibachi which also came with 2 shrimp and fried rice (additional $2.50). The whole plate was delicious and perfectly cooked. I even had enough food for lunch the next day. Can't really ask for more than that! Our server was also a delight! He refilled our drinks so fast and brought out the food while it was still hot. The environment was beautifully decorated and great for kids as well. They have a great kids menu! I highly recommend this restaurant!!

The best sushi outside the perimeter. I love the attention to detail with the sushi plates and the unique rolls always offer a cool change of pace. The ramen is excellent and always a winner. The inside feels like you are in Tokyo and the bar selection is great. Craft beers on tap and several craft sakes. Highly recommended.

This what they call a sexy jalapeño. Highly recommend you order this for an appetizer. So good it's warm but not hot enjoy

This place always delivers never had anything bad here. The sexy jalapeño was something new to try and it's so good. Check them out.

Took our daughter, (ramen lover) for a nice dinner when she returned from out of town. It's a nice, clean space and I liked that you could watch the chefs preparing food where we were seated. The food was delicious. I really enjoyed the seafood combo and I the portion sizes were enough for all of us to take home leftovers. Not quite five stars because the filet wasn't cooked medium and had to be sent back.

Been here three times before but never ordered sushi. Sooo glad I finally ordered the sushi as it was very very good. Not only is the presentation of the food different and fun, the food was great. My daughter and I ordered three different rolls ( can't remember the names) and each were very fresh and yummy. She'd never been here before but we will both be back to try other sushi rolls. Also want to point out that our waiter was very friendly and helpful. My granddaughter was with us and we were celebrating her birthday- he brought her the ice cream with a candle to help her celebrate.

My most recent visit was on yesterday as I had a day off and wanted to take time to unwind after my morning appointment. I arrived a little before noon. The bar area had only two people seated, and I was able to easily grab a seat as well. Alex was the bartender during my visit and he was extremely accommodating. My appetizer of choice: Pork Goyza My entrée of choice: Spicy chicken Ramen with extra spice and an egg Initially, I started off with a Coke zero but then said heck why not I'm off today so I indulged in a lychee martini and switched it up to a Ringo Mule (my new fave). It started to get a bit busy about 35 minutes because it was a work week and lunch hour, but it was not overwhelmingly packed. The staff worked very swiftly and greeted every single customer that came in and out. I enjoy this location. The ambiance is always very nice. There's always nice tunes playing and there's also TV is at the bar. Whether you're rolling solo or with a crew, JINYA is a nice little hangout spot. So if you're in the Kennesaw area, go check them out and thank me later. Bon appétit!

Today my wife and I were intentionally seeking out something spectacular. I found Soi 3 Thai Street Food here on Yelp (as one should do) and I felt good about what I saw, from the menu, to the pics, to the reviews. My god I'm glad we turned off of the main drag and came here. We were greeted and seated right away. We came a little early and it was not too busy. Service wise, our experience started off REALLY well. Our server was Tarik. This place better hang on to this guy. When I say it was the best service in 5 years in any restaurant I've eaten in lately, I am not exaggerating. We let him know that this was our first time in and asked for recommendations. He went through each of the sections with us and highlighted a few. He really knows the menu and that's increasingly rare these days in most restaurants. I landed on the Gai Yang Chicken which was a quarter chicken with both white and dark meat. This had the smokiest, garlicky flavor that I will dream about. It came with lettuce wraps, carrot sticks and the most amazing Nam Jim Jeaw sauce which was unreal. Fish sauce and fresh herbs and scallions. How could you go wrong? Tangy, herbaceous, a little sweet and salty. Pro move suggested by Tarik: Make lettuce wraps with what you get and dip it in the sauce. My wife had the Gaeng Massaman Gai. Hands down some of the best Massaman curry I have ever had anywhere. It was more brothy (is that a word?) than I've had, but a lot of times when you order this dish, the potatoes make it super thick. This was lighter with fresh potatoes and pearl onions that were sweet from the sauce, almost like grapes oddly enough. Really loved the textures of this dish. We had purple Jasmine rice which was excellent. The only slightly disappointing dish we had was our dumpling appetizer. Not a lot of flavor there and I would have loved a little heat in the sauce or the dumplings. Really not bad but I would have skipped that. The restaurant had a very nice vibe. The lighting was perfect for pics and ambience. Looked like it had a well stocked bar and many selections from wine to beer and cocktails. I absolutely loved this place and our experience and service was 10 stars! Will definitely ask for Tarik each time and we will be back. Run to this restaurant!

I really don't know what happened here …read more.. Against our better judgement, a friend and I chose this place as a back-up option since our first choice was closing for lunch orders. Admittedly, I was skeptical when I saw the limited menu and some of the options (I LOVE Thai food and have had variations in many parts of the world). BUT I was encouraged to know there were at least two vegan entree options on the menu. No. Never again. Not at all. The spring rolls were the most minuscule versions I've ever had. The casing was weird, to say the least, and the flavor was barely there. We ordered a broccoli entree to share. Check out the photos for yourself. WHERE IS THE BROCCOLI?!? My friend's meal was BLAND. My meal was better but the peppers were almost raw. The BEST thing we had was the roti. ROTI. At a Thai restaurant. The absolute best thing on the menu was roti?! No meatless curry options with ample veggies. Not one rice dish, served with veggies. Lots of chicken ‍. Lots of fish oil ‍. Roti was the best thing we ate. And don't even bother with the purple rice. Absolutely disappointed. The server was kind although our 2nd order of roti went to the wrong table - they gladly accepted it with no questions asked - because she was conducting what looked like an interview in between checking on our table. If you've read my reviews you know anything less than 4-5 stars is RARE. I honestly don't understand what happened during my experience at this restaurant but definitely will not be returning.

They had a deal for $5 for 5 sides where you could get a whole trayful of tteokbokki and a good deal on their "Seoul bowl" which was a meat, 2 dumplings and a side. I understand that the economy has changed a lot in the recent years so they could not maintain their prices. However, I found that the quality of food was also declining while prices continued to rise. This last time I visited, I got the kimbap and bowl (pork bulgogi and japchae). This was one of the most disappointing experiences I've had. The kimball was falling apart, so much that it was difficult to eat. When you went to take a bite, all of the contents fell out. The bulgogi and dumplings were fine but the japchae was very bad. Like I said, I've been coming here for years and I have *never* seen the japchae look like this. It was dark and chewy like rubber. It was so bad that I couldn't even finish half of the side before I called it quits. I did reach out to the restaurant soon after and they were very apologetic and offered a refund. I am just disappointed that one of my favorite restaurants is changing so much. Additionally, they updated the menu recently and took off some items that I previously enjoyed (like the potato tornado). Most of all, I am disappointed in the tteokbokki deal. It is now $2.50 for 4 rice cakes (you can count them in the container). And I am also sad that the japchae wasn't good as this was my go-to place for Korean japchae cravings.
