We took the family here for the first time on the Friday before New Year's weekend. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and thought all the lunches that we tried were excellent. The service was exceptional and very attentive. My wife and I had the Bento plates (she had the steak and I enjoyed the salmon). We both added the fried rice which was prepared perfectly! The Bento plates include CA roll sushi which was very good. My son, our daughter-in-law and my daughter each ordered the hibachi plates with fried rice. All meals included salads and miso soup. My son and I also split an Acworth Sushi roll which was delicious. Wasabi is a must try if you enjoy sushi or hibachi. read more

Food is as described and presented well. Fresh. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. I had the Acworth roll.

This sushi place was super cute. The interior is decorated well & it has a cute atmosphere. The roll itself was very good and the proportion was also good. I will say, for the amount of food that we ordered, the wait was pretty long and it was not packed at all. I'm not sure if this is a staffing issue or what but that is something that could be better! I would definitely come back though! read more

Beautiful atmosphere, authentic sushi. Ada was a great waitress and customer service was great all around. We ordered takoyaki (8.5/10) as an appetizer it came out quickly. The inside was puréed however I prefer mine more chunky. The Baby Angela (9/10) was delicious and had a little spice. The Atlanta Roll (9.5/10) had a great texture and complemented the flavors well. Good southern style sweet tea too. Prices are reasonable. We will be back again! read more

This restaurant has amazing sushi. All the rolls we ordered were fresh, flavorful, and presentation was 10/10. We had the best crab ragoons in town. It is a nice ambiance with plenty of seating. If you're in Acworth and are craving amazing sushi, this is the place to come. read more

Very nice Japanese restaurant located near Bar-B-Cutie that serves the standard Sushi, Hibachi, and Ramen fare. I opted for the chicken and shrimp hibachi today and was not disappointed. The meal started out with a ginger dressing salad and hot onion/mushroom soup that was promptly delivered after placing the order. Both the soup and the salad were very good. The entree came with perfectly cooked steamed rice and a side of vegetables as is standard. The meal also comes with a side of the white/yum yum sauce. It was a very good lunch that included highly attentive service. This restaurant adds a good Japanese option among the variety of good eats available in Acworth right off Hwy 41. read more

I found my another great spot for sushi. I decided to check out Wasabi for lunch. To my surprise they have lunch specials Monday thru Saturday until 3pm. I ordered the 2 roll sushi special that comes with soup and salad for $13. For my two rolls I ordered the shrimp tempura and the Philly roll. When the sushi was brought to my table I was so surprised by the cute presentation on the plate. Both rolls were really good! I left full and satisfied. I definitely plan to return to try some additional items and to check out their happy hour specials. read more

What we heard this place was open and we wanted to try it. So happy we stopped by. The staff was very friendly and very helpful as I did have a few questions. I had the salmon bento box which came with clear soup salad four pieces of California roll in the spring roll and rice. I asked for the salmon to be cooked medium and it was perfectly done. I really enjoyed this lunch My wife had the hibachi shrimp and chicken which also came with clear soup and the small salad. She had the fried rice with hers and it was excellent. As was the rest of the dish and the soup and salad We will definitely be back I suggest you stop by. read more

We came on a Friday night and they were fairly busy (two parties waiting for tables). We stood at the host stand for a full 10 minutes and no one took our name or even acknowledged us. Two employees came to the host stand to get something and said nothing to the three of us. It is understandable that they were busy and we were prepared to wait. But to not say anything, like "we'll be right with you" or anything is pretty poor service. We left and won't be back. read more

Best sushi I've had in a long time. Only thing I wasn't crazy about was the price printed on my menu wasn't what I was charged. When I questioned the increase server said I had an outdated menu. Well then don't use them. I felt somewhat tricked and deceived. That's not good. If my sushi was delicious. Not too noisy so great for conversation and the place was packed. read more

I discovered this place on Instagram and I must say it was a good discovery. We're also glad to have a new spot to grab fresh & tasty sushi from. The fried rice impressed me because most places don't serve nice strips of chicken in their chicken fried rice and it was flavorful. We also gave the Bahama and dynamite sushi roll a try. It was an explosion of deliciousness and the presentation was very nice. This will definitely be our new go to spot when we have an urge for sushi. It's so good we came two days in a row. read more

Great food, fresh sushi every single time I've been here. We get fed really quick and everyone is very nice. Great place to get sushi!

Service is a little slow. There's no hostess up front and there's a wall in front of the door so it took a while to be noticed. Got the tonkotsu ramen. Noodle was slightly overcooked. Probably should cook it as katamen if it's going to take a minute to come out. There was corn in the ramen , usually goes with miso ramen. The chashu was the type of meat used in pho. Decent for an American style Japnese restaurant in the cobb area. read more

We moved here from CA 4 years ago and the quest for our new sushi place began. Who knew GA would have pretty darn good sushi? After many places, we saw this one being built. Excited and scared (we have tried many new places that were great in the beginning but after their popularity grew, they would cut back on portion sizes, Jack their prices up and other quality issues. We have been with Wasabi's since it opened... nothing's changed. Same great quality, really great staff, portions, EVERYTHING is still great! Our quest has been completed. Thanks Wasabi! read more

We stopped in to try it out for lunch, since it had great reviews. They did have some cheap lunch specials, but the sushi was very mediocre. I had the wasabi roll. It was room temperature to warm, when normally I feel like raw rolls are a little more cold. The sauces on the roll masked any other flavors. It was good. My boyfriend got the lunch special, and as I would expect the rolls were small and not flavorful. We also had the edamame, which was just fine. All in all, it was mediocre, and I'd say I get better flavor and value from publix sushi. We were hoping to have found a gem, but I don't think we'll be back. read more

I love the way this restaurant uses the screens to decorate. If you come to celebrate a special event you can customize the screen. I really loved the tonkotsu ramen the broth had a very rich flavor and the noodles were made perfectly. I also got a side order of the filet mignon I think I was better off just not getting it though. When they brought it out the first time it was overcooked so I asked if they could remake it but when they brought it out it ended up being just a little undercooked but not enough that I wouldn't eat it. Overall I would come back to try other items on the menu my family ordered the combos and were very happy with their meals. I ordered the pork dumplings (pan fried) and let's just say they were gone before I remembered to take the photo! 5 stars if it hadn't been for a few mistakes but would recommend! read more

OMG, when we moved here from the West coast I didn't think we would ever find a good sushi restaurant in Metro Atlanta. Boy was I wrong. We have eaten here several times and it keeps getting better. This place never disappoints. Always good, fresh, and well prepared. The staff is welcoming as well.

This is the closest thing to authentic Japanese food in Cobb county having lived in a Japan three years. Great lunch specials, excellent selection of Japanese draft beers on tap, and a very creative sushi and sashimi menu. All the sushi dishes are perfectly prepared and very well presented on beautiful plate ware. They get very busy at times and I recommend sitting at the sushi bar at lunch especially.
