Service: Our hostess and waiter were nice and friendly. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. She helped us pick out some of the items on the menu. She made sure that our coffee cups and water glasses were always full. That is very important to me. There's nothing like eating Sweet pancakes and not have anything to wash it down with. The only hot food I got from this place was the omelette I had pancakes. I had potatoes I had a biscuit I had bacon all of these were cold. I didn't get my coffee until after I've already gotten my food. They offered me some water, but I don't like water for breakfast. I like coffee being seated, took a long time. There were almost no customers in the building having my order taken I sat at the table for 5 to 10 minutes before anybody even decided to come over there. All the employees are just standing around talking with each other instead of doing their job. It was a nice quiet environment wasn't too loud, but the food sucked. The only thing hot was the omelette and the omelette didn't have very much taste to it, and the egg was rubbery almost like it had been like re-warmed or something not very good at all. read more

I joined a group of friends here for brunch. We had a great experience. The servers were friendly and patient with us - we got so busy talking we forgot to look at the menu! Once we all ordered our food arrived pretty quickly and looked fresh and hot. I ordered the honey blueberries ciabatta breakfast with fresh fruit as my side. It was delicious! Really good breakfast this morning with good service from a young server who was definitely hustling and learning the job. No worries. I had a veggie omelet with goat cheese and sliced tomatoes on the side instead of potatoes. With the English muffin, it was good. Nothing spectacular, but definitely good. Very attentive service with a good, eclectic menu. Portions are slightly on the small side for the money, but well prepared and presented. They have a lighter, healthier fare section on their menu as well as some really good whole grain and granola berry pancakes. I had the berry crunch pancakes which was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. They were paired with eggs which I substituted for fruit and a side of potatoes and two turkey sausage. Definitely, wouldn't get the turkey sausage again!! It had a weird taste and I love turkey,but this particular sausage made me nauseous. My first visit ever. Ordered one of the "skillet" dishes. It arrived COLD but in a hot iron skillet. (?) My first bite I could not even swallow the eggs&potatoes. Food was not even room temp but cold!! I sent it back. Staff gave apologies. I ordered grits & 1 pancake. Pancake was room temp, did not even melt the butter(?). No compensation for the terrible food or the long wait to "heat up" a stiff pancake. Breakfast should not be this difficult! My first, only & my LAST visit! I do not recommend this place. Came here for breakfast on a Saturday morning. At the time we arrived before 10 A.M. there was no wait. We were a party of two, but we were seated at the the table of six. I guess it was Brittany's turn to serve and her section had only a large table available. She was very nice, and gave us few minutes to read the Menu, and to decide what to order. I ordered a skillet that had turkey bacon, breakfast potatoes, onions, avocado and eggs the way you wanted them to be cooked. The ingredints were good but somehow my meal did not have enough taste to it. It was served in an iron skillet but came to the table just barely warm. My biscuit was really dry and the coffee was not the best coffee I ever had. I'm not usually very picky, so maybe next time I need to go somewhere else to have breakfast. Price was ok and the interior was very inviting. By the time we finished our meals few people were waiting at the door to be seated, so we felt that we had to leave to let other people to get in. read more

I happened to be in the Kennesaw area so I decided to try the J Christopher's in Towne Center. WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I don't know how you can screw up srambled eggs, but they did. I got one sausage that was barely cooked and the second one was burnt. Then the grits were watery. The only thing that tasted good was the whole wheat toast. I came around noon on Monday & was able to be sat immediately. They were playing the best playlist of 90s and 2000s music. My waitress was Nicole and she was amazing; she was super sweet & attentive. I ordered an iced chai tea latte & the American breakfast. The American breakfast comes with 2 eggs, potatoes or grits, an english muffin or biscuit. I had mine with scrambled eggs, the roasted potatoes & an english muffin. The eggs were fluffy, the potatoes were amazing they were the perfect amount of crispy, & the english muffin was good, it was a little burnt around the edges but it didn't affect the taste. The chai latte was not the best, it had a very odd perfumy aftertaste but all in all for the $15 breakfast it was worth it, and I'm definitely coming back! read more

They don't k is how to cook crispy bacon ! Everytime we order crispy bacon they bring limp bacon ... how hard is it to order crispy bacon ?! We stated ordering the sausage but the sausage tatse pretty mid . I'll never know why even the manger cant cook bacon! Normally J Christopher's is my go to spot. But I went to one yesterday and was not pleased. The food portion was smaller than normal and the service was not good at all. The waitress seemed irritated with my questions about the food (I was asking about dishes I never tried before) she gave me the wrong stuff. Yesterday at J Christopher's was my first bad experience (I've been going for at least 17 years). I've never been to this location but I'd expect the same great service just because of the name. Average place to grab breakfast. I had a couple different criteria when deciding where to eat breakfast. 1. It had to have at least 4 stars on Yelp. 2. It had to be less than 10 minutes from the hotel I was staying at. 3. It had to have somewhat healthy options. 4. It had to be somewhere I hadn't been before (sorry First Watch!) I actually didn't realize it was a chain, but I was tired and hungry and I didn't have the energy to actually put real effort into searching for a local restaurant that fit all the above. There were actually two breakfast places that people raved about, but both were known for their biscuits and fried chicken. I already felt like I doubled my weight in a couple of days so that was out for me. Do I regret this decision? My heart may say yes, but my waistline says no. Driving to this place I thought my GPS was wrong. It's tucked away in a little plaza. It must be a favorite for locals to get business here! Although it wasn't super busy at 9 a.m. on a Wednesday, there was still a decent amount of tables. I went with an omelet with goat cheese and sundried tomatoes, cheesy grits, and an English muffin. It costs more for the English muffin instead of the normal side of a pancake. It's not a huge amount, but I might have enjoyed the pancake more. Everything was super average. I liked the amount of goat cheese, but every bite that didn't have goat cheese tasted bland. The English muffin looks like one you get at a supermarket. The grits were fine...everything was basically average. This is a great place to bring a friend who is a picky eater and likes standard American breakfast food. First time here ever and decided to check this place out for breakfast since we were waiting for our car to be serviced at the dealership nearby. I ordered one of the dishes on the special menu called "Pardon Me Madam". This dish is an open face Challah toast bread topped with slices of ham, Swiss cheese, and a over-medium egg and Hollandaise sauce on top of it and served with oven-roasted potatoes. I opted not to get the potatoes and added sausage for an additional fee and a side of pancakes. Well, this place has really gone downhill. It started by us walking in with four employees circled around the host station so that one could not even see how to check in. Our entire trip here either four people or five people hovered around the host station and I only actually witnessed two people ever wait on any of the tables. Only about a third of the tables had anyone at them. It still took at least three minutes for anyone to acknowledge we were here. When the food came, I got eggs that were surprisingly tough. In fact, I did not know that eggs could be that tough. Coffee was brought without coffee cups. The employees just seem to walk around showing each other pictures on their cell phone. Pretty disappointing. I guess they are actively trying to discourage business. read more

The blueberry pancake was delicious, and the texture was excellent. The strawberry crepes were okay. The strawberries were not cooked down; so it was a huge lump of strawberry. The cinnamon roll I had was not great it had soft texture. It was bought by the store and not homemade so it is the same as any other restaurant. The menu steers a little towards the healthy side if you want it to, and it steers directly into the decadent if you want to do that, too. The Eggs Benedict look fantastic. The waffle is just a crowd pleaser. But don't be afraid to look away from the breakfast items towards some of the lunch things (like the aforementioned quesadilla). Located on Town Center Drive in a shopping center featuring a few other restaurants and shops, located adjacent to the mall is this location of J Christopher's. I must preface my review by stating that my visit to here was a corporate breakfast, so our experience may be a tad different given that! I will say that the team at this location was very helpful and accommodating with our group from the initial call to set everything up. We ended up having about 12 people and were able to secure the room at the front of the place for our group. Upon arrival, we were greeted and service was started pretty quickly. We had two waitresses responsible for our party and they both did a great job! Food wise I ordered the California style omelet that featured chicken, guacamole, cheese and pico. It was sided with grits and a biscuit. The omelet itself was decently tasty, however uneven in the distribution of guacamole, only half the omelet seemed to have it. The biscuit looked fluffy and apparently tasted good (I gave it away) and the grits were good as well. I will say that I am glad I made the choice to get grits instead of potatoes, as many people in our group who opted for potatoes were sadly disappointed due to them being hard and apparently not too fresh. Overall, all the other dishes that the team got from skillets, biscuit and gravy to waffles were all well liked. I'd say if I were in the area and looking for a decent breakfast/brunch spot, I would certainly come to this location!
