Literally the BEST million dollar bacon I've had in the Atlanta! The thing I LOVE about First Watch is the fact that their food and refreshments are fresh. They have fresh squeezed juice that is a must try when you go. I received great service from the employees at this location. The establishment is very clean and seems to pass majority, if not, all health and safety requirements. The restaurant is in a plaza, so, there is plenty of parking that is convenient for you. I believe the hours are only until 2pm, and, they tend to bring in a large crowd. Therefore, I advise planning on getting here no later than 12:30, so you have an ample amount of time to be seated and enjoy your food Speaking of food, I would say, for the most part, our dishes were delicious. As I said, the food is fresh so you walk away not feeling overstuffed if you wish to indulge in a lot of food (which I recommend ) The only feedback I have is the Carne Asada tacos lacked a little flavor. Not the entire taco as a whole, but the meat itself- I was able to tell when I tried this dish. I am, shower, very particular with my Carne Asada you have to put the perfect amount of seasoning and the right kind of seasoning along with cooking it a certain way to get a good asada. My favorite course, was the bacon, along with the farmhouse bowl. It was the perfect blend of meat, potato, herbs, & fresh eggs. I added arugula to throw on some extra veggies to my dish and it definitely enhanced it in the best way Overall, First Watch is a staple and I highly recommend you take a visit! read more

This review is a continuation of my review for First Watch on Barrett. To continue. Upon arriving, we were immediately greeted and seated. We were even able to change tables with staff assistant. Once we ordered and the food began to arrive, I realized my lemon for my water hadn't been given. I couldn't get my server's attention so I asked another. Minutes later,I saw our server and I wanted more napkins. Another server because Our Server was preparing her meal. Ok, I'm new to First Watch and maybe that's the standard. But what about ensuring your table has napkins, anything else needed. Nope nothing. Just she and I looking at one another. When it was time to leave I signaled for the check and a container. She handed it at arms length. As some would say, she was very standoffish. But, I did see her enjoying conversation, maybe with a regular. I truly DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE A TIP. Brunch on a weekday - sign me up! First Watch is a chain but I find them to be consistent. I would frequent the Smyrna location for business meetings and this visit was after morning appointments. I was starving and needed a "Virta" approved meal. I went with the frittata with smoked salmon, the field greens salad and added an extra protein. I only drink decaf coffee which they serve by the pot. The food came out really fast and was an average portion. There were people who lunch and older couples enjoying their food. Service was very pleasant as I asked to move to a table with an outlet. Surprisingly they only have one table in the dining room with access to an outlet. This isn't a good place to work for an extended time. Overall, lots of options for breakfast, brunch and lunch. They do serve cocktails which I'll try on another visit. read more

We just had breakfast at first watch. I had the traditional breakfast of scrambled eggs, artisan, toast, and potatoes; my partner had eggs Benedict Florentine. The scrambled eggs were done soft as I wished very nice. The artisan toast is OK, nothing spectacular - tastes like something you get out of the bag from the grocery store. But those potatoes...someone used rock salt on them. If you wanted high blood pressure that was the way to get it! Furthermore, I feel quite certain that these were boiled first, and then fried as the potatoes have the consistency of an unmashed potato, and the onions were burnt/charred beyond recognition. The eggs Benedict were very nicely done on a tough ciabatta. The accompanying green Salad was so sparsely dressed that it was more like eating lettuce leaves. I'm not sure where they get their coffee, but it isn't Guatemala, Brazil, or Colombia. It taste somewhat like the Flavia machine in the doctors office. Uninspired. Will we go back? I doubt it. I don't like putting bad reviews on this app but unfortunately it has to be done. This past weekend, I went on Saturday with my wife and daughter . Normally we always get great service, but unfortunately, we had a new waiter serving us this time. It was an old man. Food was good but he got my wife's order wrong & daughters order wrong so I had to wait on there food to get corrected for all of us to eat together but service was horrible from the start to the end. He knows who he is, and hopefully he changes his attitude. We all have bad days, but it's not my fault. I came out with my family to enjoy our meal & spend some family time together. & enjoy a nice hot meal. But that was taken from us unfortunately by this old man. read more

very strange experience with ups and downs. thankfully my partners food was good for him. the server approached our table, i was still standing.... she observed then ignored me cleaning off syrup from a chair too dirty to sit.... asking me and my partner if we wanted coffee. i said yes i would. then she asked if we...... get this.... knew what we wanted to order... i was dumbfounded and politely told her im trying to settle in and clean my chair to sit. Having returned to this gem for brunch, my adoration for nailing what people assume is easy in a kitchen making a ton of eggs and potatoes to perfection continues. The eggs benedict with one of each on salmon and BLT were stellar and the gluten free bread was decent to pull the dish together for those of us stuck in that boat. I've never had a bad meal here, but what is uber cool is the options on drinks. Yes you can have a mimosa, but you can also have concoctions of juices and teas that are super tasty. I had 'Red Medicine' which was a super tasty combo of black tea and juices...highly recommend. The service is quick and the staff knows the menu. It's clean and inviting to sit and chat over stellar food. Consistency is a huge plus at First Watch...you know what you are going to get every time. read more

My daughter and I ordered eggs Benedict , mine with bacon, hers with Canadian bacon. When it came, it was cold, the eggs and meat were not cooked all the way. Told waitress and she told her boss. He went and talked to a woman at the register. We couldn't reorder as my daughter needed to go back to work. When we presented the bill at the register I expected to not pay as we didn't eat any of it . But she insisted we pay full price for both meals even though she knew the circumstances. I was shocked that she only apologized for the bad meal but insisted we pay full price . I advised her how bad the customer service decision was but she didn't offer a free meal in the future , half price , nothing! No more! Third time this year I had subpar quality meals there. First Watch seems like a really trendy restaurant that I was excited to try but it definitely left something to be desired. The ambiance was very nice. It was a great place to sit and hangout with a friend or group. The service was really good and one of the highlights of my visit. The waitress was very attentive and the food came out quicker than expected. The food sounded great but just didn't live up to what I expected. I had the farmhouse skillet and it lacked a lot of taste. The potatoes seemed a little undercooked and overall it just wasn't great. The fruit cup was disappointing as well. The toast and the preserves however were great and very tasty. My partner was also disappointed with her meal however she liked the toast as well. I may return to First Watch if someone else wants to go but I don't see myself going out of the way to go back. read more

I went in for the first time on 12/26/25. I was blown away by how good of an experience it was eating there. Awesome location, wonderful customer service starting from the host, the server and down to the food runner. Our server Cameron was absolutely wonderful - a total delight! Super friendly, bubbly, welcoming. I just recently moved to GA so it was nice to experience such great customer service at a local restaurant. Seats are in high demand, as is expected at this "open till 2" extravaganza. We were greeted promptly and just as quickly added to their text waiting list. Pro tip next time: make my daughter exit her car and put us on the list before I saunter in, saving us 10 mins. But it was lovely "waiting atmosphere", and not like it was 10 am Saturday, so we were in quickly. Pot-o-coffee? Yes. Giant menu selection? Yes. Plenty of healthy choices and "healthy" portions? Indeed. I kicked off the ordering looking for something off my normal beaten path. It had been a month of potatoes for me, so why not continue the fun with Farmhouse Hash? This delightful mix of hash browns, eggs, onions, cheese, bacon, avocado, and toast should keep me rolling into the afternoon. I even ordered egg whites. Surprisingly my daughter had what I had. Only later did she realize I got the eggs without any yellow which was not her favorite. Oh well there's always next time. But otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed the selection. She did donate her onions to me, which I gladly accepted. We managed to finish off that coffee pot as well, plus she grabbed one for the road. I read in an article that First Watch is the highest-rated chain on Yelp, and the parking lot is always packed, so I had to give it a try. Too bad it was a disappointment:( I got the lemon ricotta pancakes and the Million Dollar bacon (I'd seen people raving about it on an Atlanta Eats segment). I know the pancakes are whole grain, which makes them heartier and healthier, but I prefer the light and fluffy ones at IHOP over these. The only thing that made the bacon "million dollar" was the inflated price. I don't know if they made a mistake and brought me regular bacon instead, but I didn't taste any sweetness or heat on this. I was expecting candied bacon with a bit of heat but got neither. My daughter has been there a number of times and is a fan, but I don't plan to go back. read more

First spotted this restaurant a about three years ago and after looking it up, decided to give it a try when I got a chance. A couple months later, a First Watch opened next to Concord Mills not far from here so we decided to give it a shot. First two time we tried ended with wait times in excess of an hour so we went elsewhere. Finally had a day off during the middle of the week so we went in an off time and were finally served. Enjoyed it but not worth an hour plus wait. Note we have an upcoming First Watch opening in Huntersville later this year. Building is still under construction across from Birkdale. This particular restaurant was one more exit up I-75 from where we staying in Kennesaw. Got up and drove up and got there around 8:30 or so and were promptly seated. Comfortable restaurant with modern menu and great service. I ordered the Avocado Toast with two eggs over well. Toast was delicious but eggs were somewhat short of being well. Coffee was delicious. My wife ordered a large Pancake with Turkey Sausage and Fresh Fruit. She is trying to loose some weight but that one Pancake covered and entire plate. It was huge. Everything was delicious. Related my experiences about the First Watch in Concord to our server and she responded, wait about an hour and a half and this place will be the same. Still a great place for breakfast and strongly recommend. Let's hot Huntersville is a good when they open. read more

Very inconsistent...sometimes great and others very subpar. It obviously depends on the cook in the kitchen but if I'm spending almost $16 on an omelet, I would like some consistency. They've been good to reimburse me or give me a credit, but I don't mind paying if the food is worth it. They need to train their cooks better or hire better cooks. read more

Visited First Watch to redeem a Birthday coupon I received. There was a 45 minute wait, which is fine. There's a standard wait for any restaurant in Georgia at this point! We were seated at a table near the kitchen and there was old food and mac and cheese on the floor under our table. No biggie, got that taken care of. We then ordered coffee and I requested it to be served in to go cups, because we intended to take a cup to go. I love their coffee. Coffee pot arrived on the table, we put our creamer in, unrolled the silverware and my Fiancés as well as my silver ware was dirty. We didn't see the waiter until the food arrived, so I then asked him for plastic ware to use instead. I ordered the Tri-Fecta with scrambled eggs and chicken sausage. My Fiancé ordered the biscuits and gravy. The food was ok, but not the greatest. My eggs were a bit cold and my Fiancé's food was a bit cold too. Overall, the staff was nice, although, not very attentive. The food was ok. Cleanliness needs to kick it up a notch. I have been going here for a few years now and the food has always been good. The service has always been bad. They seem frantic even when slow and overall disorganized. This has progressively gotten worse. Today was the worst I've seen. We arrived at 11:30am, so early lunch, not busy. Everything was filthy. The floor was covered in food. Coffee cup had coffee grounds all over the rim. Glassware was dirty with chunks of previous food/liquid debris on them. The ceiling looks pretty gross as well. I heard 2 other tables complain during our visit. Server was not responsive, barely spoke, then handed us a check before we were halfway done.
