The service was very good. Very polite and attentive. As an aside, I have to say that wanting a tip for just making sandwiches, is annoying. Anyway, I wound up tipping 10%,which was about $3.50. It's crazy how the prices jumped! $7.99 for a mini, which is 4 inches long. I got an Italian sub and got the small size for $10.99! And that's without even a pickle to keep it company! My husband ordered a tuna sub, a medium for $11.99! And an order of fries for $3.99. The fries were delicious, crispy and hot, right out of the fryer. The meat on my sub was indistinguishable. It tasted alright but not like a real Italian submarine. I have to add that the table was dirty and we had to clean it before sitting down. I guess we have to lower our expectations or just stay home.

I managed to find a clean table and filled my cup while waiting (they have a Pepsi fountain machine). To sample a couple of different sandwiches I got a small Chicken Chipotle Crunch and small Grilled Italian with a side of fries. I should have gone with mini as small is quite generous and filling (see pictures). I liked the fried onions in the Chicken Chipoltle Crunch and most of the favor came from the sauce. The tomatoes on both sandwiches were a bit too pale and tasted watery. The Grilled Italian was definitely the more flavorful of the two with great seasoning on the meats. The bread was nice and soft. The side of fries were of the coated variety and were fresh, hot, and crisp with the breading having a great seasoning. All the hard surfaces and glass windows made for quite the echo chamber, and even with half the tables occupied the noise level was quite considerable. There is a variety of seating with bar, booth, and table (different sizes).

I thought to myself again, "Well the only reason the line is slow moving is because they cook to order." Fresh food is good food, right? Wrong. When I unwrapped the sandwich, I realized it was completely tepid. I took a bite. My teeth took temporary pause at completely unmelted cheese (see photo). This unmelted cheese gave way (with much resistance) to some of the most flavorless steak I've ever had. Completely unseasoned. While the bread and onions were quite good, the sandwich was an utter disappointment. Was this the result of a cheesesteak never being able to live up to my heady expectations? I unwrapped my second one (yes, I got two). It was just as bad as the first. Roy, if you're reading this, get some quality control on your truck. There's really no excuse for unseasoned meat and completely unmelted cheese.

The food is always great and the service is normal good as well. However today I ordered for the company and got some call center (always a horrifying experience). Their printable menu lists mashed potatoes as a side ( with no prices btw). When i ordered they told me they dont do mashed potatoes as a side anymore but would happily give it to us just this time. I didnt fight them on the mashed potatoes i wouldve just told my employee to pick a different side however if you say thats what we can get, that should be in our order. I get there and the nice girl at the counter asked me what my side i wanted. I explained to her the situation so they just gave us some poatao salad (which went uneaten...not a fan.) Instead. Again we would choose something else, but now my employee is out a side that they paid for. Get rid of the call center and use your employees. They know your menu and policies waaaay better. I wont be calling in our company orders again. read more

Good food but general management is awful. 5 months on the job and full time employees are not getting insurance as promised. Employees have been hired through breech of verbal contracts from the GM, Workers are over worked, working 12+ hours, and they are putting employees and their families at harm for contracting or spreading this Covid 19 virus by allowing them to be exposed to outside customers. This particular Marietta franchise owner is only seeking money not the saftey and the health of his employees...selfishness. they need hazardous pay or since they dont have a drive through take phone orders only for delivery or pickup with limited contact with outside customers. This review is for the location in Kennesaw. The new manager is not a customer oriented person. I am not sure why they are remodeling this location since he does not value eat in customers. I went there today and ordered my food. After I ordered I was told it would be 30 minutes because they had catering and online orders to take care of first! When I questioned the new manager McKenzie about this, he told me to get out of his restaurant. I have never been treated so rudely. Another customer started talking to me and he kicked her out too! So I've visited this establishment on several occasions, we actually get salads often yet against my better judgement I wanted too see how the potato's tasted. Only to be given an old reheated potato that wasn't worth serving to anyone, this has left a very bad taste in my mouth. For I am a culinary professional and I'm in Restaurant Management. I've ordered from McAlisters in person, over the phone and by using MobileWaiter. Everytime has been outstanding. The food is simply amazing for the price. (It's a deli so the price shouldn't be too high) but I easily prefer McAlisters over similar restaurants like Panera or Atlanta Bread. They have very good customer service (from my 10 or so experiences) and best of all, their brownies are delicious. read more

The rice wasn't overly seasoned and it was cooked perfectly. It had such a good flavor. It was great service . I was greeted with a smile. . Unlike the other location ( not a bad thing ) I ordered the food from a kiosk and paid for it myself. One of the employees assisted me in ordering , because it was slightly confusing when choosing the sides . There wasn't anything different about the dining area. However, it was clean . There weren't any music playing , but a very nice atmosphere. I won't say too much more since I've given a detailed review at the previous Pita location where It was my very first experience, but not first falafel. There were sodas , water and carbonated water, and cheesecake to pick up on my own . Behind the counter was the Baklava and funella fries as dessert options as well. I welcome this place as a more healthier fast food alternative in the area .
