Amazing Fried Chicken! Super Chix is a fantastic simple fried chicken spot. Their menu is focused, fresh, and done with high quality in everything they do. Prices aren't quite like fast food chicken places, but the quality is just so much higher that the price is certainly worth it. Me and my party tried both the fingers and the sandwich. We both agreed that the chicken fingers were some of the best! The filet on the sandwich, however, was a little too skinny, unfortunately. We also got fries- they do lots of different seasoning options! We got the Cajun and the Rosemary Pepper seasonings on our fries... both were very very well seasoned! The fries and the chicken were both fried very nicely. Everything was crisp and made to order. The cashier service was friendly, but they are not on the highest level of hospitality. The restaurant itself has a large dining room and was very clean. I like the whole vibe and the music as well. The biggest thing I loved about this experience was the sauce! They have a self-service sauce bar that is fantastic! I love their signature sauce, and the other ones are great too. We also tried the Korean BBQ, Hot Nashville, and Honey Mustard... every one didn't disappoint! A stumbled across this restaurant while I was out dillydallying and they kind of saw area. I was looking for something for lunch, but something more of a casual feel so I stopped by super chix. Is a decent size restaurant not too big not too small just to write them out. It also has some high boy tables and booths. I decided to sit in at high table by the window and enjoy my lunch with a view. Trying to be in my healthy girl era so I decided to get the house salad that is served with honey mustard, and a order of rosemary pepper fries. This combo is the ultimate girl lunch. The salad was very good. At first glance, I thought it didn't have enough dressing on it so I went to the side where they have condiments and pour myself a little cup of honey mustard to add to my salad. That was a mistake because now my salad was overdressed. If I would've just mixed it up, I would've noticed that they had plenty of dressing on the lettuce underneath. But that's OK. It was still very good. And the rosemary pepper fries were perfect. The right amount of seasoning and flavor. They were very much the star of my lunch. This place is also very reasonable. I believe my lunch was less than $20. The staff was really nice. I asked young lady questions because this was my first time at a super chix. She was actually the one that recommended the rosemary fries. I would definitely recommend this spot for a cute casual lunch if you're out in the Kennesaw area. read more

We went to a Super Chix for 1st time when down in Peachtree City recently (forgot to review) & we're really impressed. What do you know - we discovered there's one about 9 miles from us that just opened around June (2025)! That's still a good haul so won't go regularly but it was worth the trip this weekend. Large sandwiches (twice now I've gotten the chicken cordon blue - don't worry, it's not actually blue cheese). Sandwich very good & wife and I knew to share an order of fries, which was huge. Wife got the chicken sandwich with bbq sauce & liked it too. Grandson got huge tenders, fries, drink & custard with kids' meal & had half to bring home. Now, it's not cheap, but the restaurant is new, bright, clean & as mentioned, large servings. Manager onsite taking orders was very friendly & multiple folks checked on us periodically & cleared the table. We'll go back when we can. Try it out. read more

We stopped for lunch. The location is off Barrett Pkwy...a good spot as it is in the midst of the hustle and bustle of things but off to the side. Everyone was really courteous throughout the entire visit. We ordered a chicken sandwich with added cheese and fries. They have many options. The regular fries are enough to share but I really could eat them all myself. Just grab a large if it's 2 of you. I intend on trying other chicken sandwiches on another visit. After ordering, You get a number and they will bring your food out to your table. Condiments are located in the back. You have many to choose from. The ranch, Korean BBQ and buffalo sauces tasted good. I was unsure so I got a sample of these 3. The place was very clean and you had options of high tables, booths, and standard tables if you choose to eat in. Im also unsure about the trays. We emptied ours in the trash can and left the tray in the back, but I did see 1 person leave theirs on the table. I personally wouldn't leave it there if you can do it yourself, because, why not? *shrugs* Only mentioned this bc when dining in, you'll probably inquire on this yourself. Interior Looked clean. Lots of seating. I visited on Sunday, well after the lunch rush, so it wasn't crowded, but thanks to the high ceilings - it was kind loud towards the back. Exterior They are on Barrett Pkwy, but they can be a little tricky to get to because there's tons of restaurants and businesses crammed over there. They are in the building next to Maple Street Biscuit Company, right next door to Einstein Bagels and Tin Drum Asian Kitchen. I don't know if I did it wrong, but I had to cut through the Tesla dealership parking lot to get to them and when exiting the parking lot, I discovered there's no outlet on the east end of the lot, so I had to circle back around. When I was exiting, another motorist turned in and didn't cut hard enough, so they nearly collided with me. The entrance / exit is fairly tight because of the curbs / landscaping. I would NOT want to maneuver this parking lot during their peak hours. Customer Service The cashier was super friendly and animated. There was a guy walking around wiping tables and looking very busy, I think he might have been the manager. He seemed very pleasant too - smiling and greeting people. He thanked me for coming in. Food My first visit, I ordered a sandwich and before I took even one bite (after removing the bun to check to make sure they omitted the pickles), I discovered a long hair - along with the pickles they forgot to omit. Even though I was hungry, I just couldn't soldier on with the sandwich. And I was already halfway home when I discovered it, absolutely not about to double back (easily a 30 minute drive from that point because of traffic and congestion), so it wound up in the trash. This visit, I decided to go with the house salad - no peppers, extra tomatoes. It was ready very quickly. I was nervous because the bag and receipt were really greasy, but when I removed the salad - it looked lovely. Lol. Because of the hair incident the last time, I decided to check my bag before leaving. I'm glad I did check - 1) they forgot the extra tomatoes - unless 2 cherry tomatoes is the standard, because I was initially given 4 cherry tomatoes and 2) they forgot napkins and fork - unless maybe you're supposed to get that stuff for yourself. I asked the associate standing near the register for extra tomatoes, then walked to the rear of the restaurant to get the omitted items. There were a good bit of customers back there refilling drinks and getting items for their meals as well, so I would think it would be better if the staff added those items to the takeout orders just to streamline the 'to go' process. The salad was very tasty. The chicken was well-seasoned, perfectly breaded and extremely tender. My only complaint - I just wish there had been more of it. If I had to guess, I would say this was only about 4 ounces of chicken. It was pounded thin to give the appearance of a good portion, but having had gbs, I was able to easily eat this without feeling full or satiated. Price / Value A little overpriced based on portions - but I'm assuming they're priced high to be able to afford the rent at this prime location. ;-) Plus food costs have soared everywhere these days. Overall Overall, the food is good and the staff is friendly. Even though I didn't have a good experience on my first visit and my second visit had a few bumps too, I'm pretty sure it's just 'growing pains' and I'm sure they'll do well in this area. My first visit was 0 or 1 star. My second visit was 3 stars, so technically this should be a lower rating. But in keeping with my grading curve for newbie restaurants, not going lower than 3 stars! read more

My partner and I saw this new Super Chix opened in Kennesaw and were eager to try it. On our way out for a day trip we decided to grab food to go. We had mixed opinions on both the food and service. I ordered a sandwich trying to keep my order simple and quick. My partner ordered a 6 piece of grilled, plain chicken tenders. That was it, simple. Our order took over 20 minutes. Now, I get everything is made fresh but we weren't expecting quite that long of a wait. By the time it landed in front of us I just gave in and decided to eat there. The sandwich was gone in seconds. It was delicious. The chicken portion was substantial, the pickles were fresh and crunchy, the sauces (buffalo and ranch) were both delicious. The bun tasted fresh. It was messy but it hit the spot. My partner on the other hand got the short stick. His plain grilled tenders came out seasoned with we're not sure because it's not what he ordered. He's on a VERY strict diet and cannot eat any seasonings or sauces. He rarely eats food out because of his food restrictions. He confirmed zero seasoning on his order multiple times before he placed it. This isn't just a dietary thing but could make him very ill if he ate something he wasn't supposed to. (And here we are 45 minutes into a 2+ hour drive for our day adventure.) My partner flagged someone down, asked about his food again because it was very obviously seasoned with something. The associate was very nice and apologetic. He had the tenders remade. But that left us waiting another 10+ minutes. When the food finally came up my partner checked that it was plain tenders, took a bite of one, and we left, taking his food with us. When we got to our destination we found out his 6 piece had been remade as a 5 piece. It was $15 for a 6 piece of chicken tenders. There were other prices for other quantities, like 5, but we paid for 6. A little disappointing. We tried to overlook the 30+ minute wait and the wrong order. And if you've ever had a man be shorted on food you know you hear about it. Every fast food place we passed was, "I could have bought 5 burger patties for the price of those tenders," and "I could have bought 4 patties there for half the price." He said the tenders just also weren't spectacular in any way, just plain chicken so the price seemed very high. Again, we had mixed reviews on the food itself and the value for the quantity and quality. But both agreed that we did not expect a "to- go" order to turn into 30 minutes, a wrong order and a corrected but still wrong order. read more

I would give this 10 stars if I could! It was fantastic. The lady at the counter was kind and patient while we decided what to order. We ended up getting a sandwich each and the loaded fries! The chicken was so flavorful and moist! The fries were amazing, crispy and had a bunch of flavoring options! They have all the sauces available in the back of the store to enjoy- definitely try the signature sauce and the ranch! The loaded fries were a must try; we followed online advice and got the canon and sweet seasonings on them and they were AMAZING! My boyfriend had the BBQ chicken sandwich with the onion rings and he said it was great! I have the avocado ranch BLT, and also, it was huge and amazing! No complaints at all. We recently tried this spot in a pinch because my husband and son were hungry. I, myself, didn't actually go to the restaurant but I tried my son's food once it was brought home so my review is based strictly on that. We ordered a kids meal, which included a chicken slider, fries, and chocolate custard. First, my husband ordered the slider plain but I opened up the food to see mayo and pickles on the sandwich. STRIKE ONE. I cleaned the sandwich off to the best of my ability and gave my son lots of ketchup to dip the sandwich. My 4 year old son took one bite of the slider and declared that it was disgusting. LOL! Me thinking that he was just being a picky 4 year old made me take a bite of the sandwich myself. Lo and behold - ABSOLUTELY NO FLAVOR. I'm not a picky eater AT ALL so if I think food is not tasty, IT'S NOT GOOD. It's obvious that all they do is coat the chicken and fry it - no seasoning whatsoever. Moving along, hubz attempted to order the fries with no salt but the cashier simply couldn't understand how to communicate this to the kitchen because "that's not the button she can choose on the register" :-/ In any event, the fries came salted and that is an understatement. The fries were so salty that they were simply inedible. If only they would've put some of the salt from the fries on the chicken! STRIKE TWO. Next was the custard. It was a scoop of chocolate custard so it's simply impossible to mess this up. With that said, IF we ever come back, I'd probably only come here for the custard. read more

My husband and I absolutely loved Super Chix! We went today for the first time because we were so graciously invited by the wonderful owner while we were shopping last night. The food is super fresh and the portions are very generous. My husband said: "this is going to be the 5 Guys of chicken" before we left.
