My sister brought me to Chicken Salad Chick when I visited her for the weekend, and I really enjoyed it! It's a great spot for lunch--cute inside, with a welcoming vibe and friendly service. They also have a variety of chicken salads in a cooler, ready for take out. They offer a bunch of chicken salad flavors, which I really appreciated. I went with the sampler meal so I could try three different ones: the Jalapeño, Olivia's Old South (my favorite!), and the Pimento Cheese. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I'm not sure if they rotate flavors, but if they do--I'd love to suggest a jalapeño pineapple version. Sweet + spicy = yes, please! Apparently if you order through a third-party, you have to specify that you want lettuce and tomato. The manager Jaden was sweet and offered me a meal on them the next time i visit. No safety stickers/covers for drinks and the food only had stickers on the side of the bag. Not secured at all especially for a stranger to deliver food. The General Manger kristie had the audacity to call me afterwards and imply it's my fault for not specifying in the ubereats app. I've ordered multiple times and clicked the same exact buttons this time around but was somehow im the one to blame. I rarely give a "fast food" place 5 stars, but this one deserves it. The food was delicious! I had a "Fancy Nancy" on a croissant with a side of tomato bisque soup. Everything was fresh and the soup was hot. They even provided crackers and a mini frosted cookie as part of my meal. My tummy and taste buds are very happy! The staff was friendly and efficient, handling orders, takeout, and online orders without a hitch. The restaurant was following all COVID protocols and was bright and clean. This was our very first visit. Arrived at 12:30pm on a Friday and it was very busy. Majority of the tables were occupied so we weren't sure if we would be able to sit and eat. We waited for about 15 minutes and were able to order our meal. Most employees we encountered were nice but not bubbly or welcoming. The young lady behind the counter took our order and gave us a receipt to sit and wait for our order. We waited for around 15 minutes for our order to be called out. Thankfully we were able to find a table to sit at. Tables weren't very clean but no biggie, I can wipe down a table. Food was ok. The buffalo barclay was tasty with a nice kick. Classic carol on a BLT sandwich was just okay. I didn't find it to be anything special. The potato soup was very good - I would recommend you try that. They even top it with bits of bacon. The chicken salad melt was a much better option than the BLT and I would order that one again. Each meal comes with a small frosted sugar cookie which is actually pretty good. They do have an app where you can accumulate points but we didn't learn about it until we read the bottom of the receipt. Casual spot to have lunch. read more

I tried this business for the first time on Veterans Day. I chose the Original Classic and let me say, finally, I found a restaurant that cares. The food quality was amazing. I felt like people actually sat around a table and taste approved everything. Every portion of my meal was perfection down to my buttermilk cookie. You have gained a customer. I came here for the first time today for lunch, although I've passed it numerous times when I am visiting the Kennesaw area. I missed breakfast and so by 11:15am I was starving! I drove by and saw this place was open. After much consideration I decided to finally give this place a try. I chose to do the *Special* Original Chick, which comes with your choice of any sandwich or scoop and one side item, pickle spear, & the cookie of the day. I picked the Dixie Chick chicken on wheat bread and as my side I picked the soup of the day which was Chicken & Artichoke Florentine, a little salty but tasty. The Dixie Chick is described as their "most offensive salad" definitely for the onion lover, however the onion flavor was very mild yet delicious. My wheat bread was so soft and perfect addition to my chicken salad! The cookie of the day was a chocolate chip cookie which was a perfect way to end my lunch. Overall, I enjoyed my dish tremendously! Would I come back? Most definitely! You must like chicken salad to come here and who doesn't? And for the price, you can't beat it! As the name suggests, they specialize in chicken salad. I have tried the Buffalo Barclay (5/5) , Jalapeno Jolly (4/5) , Fancy Nancy(5/5) and Madame Curry(2/5). Fancy Nancy is a concoction of seedless grapes, nuts and has a little crunch to it. It is incredibly flavorful and I love getting it on sandwiches. I usually get a scoop as a side, which also comes with plenty of wheat crackers. Jalapeno holly has diced jalapenos, the buffalo Barclay is jam packed with frank's hot sauce and is really creamy and delicious. Madame curry was pretty bland compared to the other few flavors that I have tried. Service: Service is really fast considering this place is packed around lunch time. Also if you are crunched for time, order online and pick it up in ten minutes. Price: Lunch specials are $7.99 ( for a sandwich and a scoop, or scoop and scoop). I really enjoy CSC's chicken salad, but the past two times I've ordered from them (once directly from their site, and from DoorDash today) I have had missing items from my order. Today's example is that I ordered a scoop/salad, and an additional container of chicken salad. Did not receive the additional container, despite it being printed right there on the claim check/receipt stuck to my bag. I suspect from my limited customer-point-of-view is that this store gets pretty busy around lunch time (as they should be, the food's delicious) and could benefit from taking slowing down in the rush to take an extra minute to check the order in the bag before releasing it; I'm pretty sure that given the containers used, their skilled staff would quickly spot a missing item. That mouthful said, my scoop/salad is DELICIOUS and I was able to quickly get a refund from Doordash for the missing item. Am just sad I won't have any Classic Carol to enjoy later! read more
