    Chicago sandwich
    Bill D.

I usually order the "Chicago club" , which for some reason is no longer on the menu but every location still serves it if you ask. It's a Turkey BLT on this delicious focaccia, which is made perfectly, with spinach, tomato,Turkey, bacon, and some special spicy mayo based sauce, absolutely delicious. Never let's me down. It comes with chips of your choice. I usually get the sandwich with chips and small drink, for under $10. You also get complimentary soft serve ice cream. This location is clean and employees are friendly and efficient.

    Plain Jane Potato

There was little to no sour cream added and the potato was old and lukewarm warm at best.

What a great little lunch spot. First time eating here. On the fly but totally worth it. Service was fast and friendly. The sandwich was original and tasted great I also got a chocolate chips cookie that was soft and fluffy.

I had been craving a baked potato for months now. My visit to Loaded Baked Potato doesn't count since I didn't actually eat my potato. Lol. This was my first time visiting in quite a while - and I have to say - things have really changed since the pandemic. Interior / Exterior - didn't really see much of the exterior and none of the interior because I phoned my order in and used drive-thru to pick it up. I will say, the drive thru window is oddly high. And the back exit / entrance to the parking lot is steep. Even though I know how bad it is ... and I cut and angle accordingly, I always scrape the bottom of the car leaving. Argh. Customer Service - The young lady who took my phone order sounded pleasant and friendly. Not sure if it was the same lady working the drive thru window - but if so, she was decidedly less friendly once I arrived. When I first pulled up, I think she thought I was a last minute customer and she did not seem thrilled at my 9:53pm arrival. Food - I ordered my usual Plain Jane. I also ordered a chicken salad on toasted wheat, lettuce and tomato on the side, no pickle spear. It came with plain chips (Ruffles). I also ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch Potato. I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed in the food. See photos. Initially, they gave me untoasted bread on the sandwich. But they also gave me MULTI-GRAIN wheat bread. Turns out, they don't have plain wheat bread. And I asked specifically if they had WHEAT bread when calling it in. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal but I was dropping some of this food off at the hospital and the sandwich recipient can't eat bread with lots of seeds and grains due to diverticulosis. When checking the order initially, I just glanced at the bread and asked them to please toast it since they forgot. Once I got the sandwich back and confirmed that it was, in fact, multi-grain bread, I didn't want to further annoy the cashier by asking them to change the bread - so I wound up paying 'sandwich prices' for a lump of chicken salad and a bag of chips. I also thought the tomato portion was pretty skimpy. At least 2 slices would seem more appropriate for a slice of bread this wide. The baked potatoes looked sloppy and 'thrown together.' And each of them had massive blob of sour cream obliterating the most of the toppings. They used to put the butter and sour cream on before the toppings and they distributed everything beautifully and evenly. When I inquired about this, the cashier said they started doing it this way (with the blobs) because customers kept complaining / questioning whether any sour cream was actually on the potato. I can totally see that happening, but man! I wish they did it the old way. Whoever dressed this potato put a fair amount of my cheese and bacon on the potato skin - versus the potato, so I found myself trying to peel and scrape toppings into the potato - to keep from eating plain white potato. And trying to distribute that big blob of sour cream was a nightmare. There was no butter on it all - which helps my arteries but not my taste buds. Lol. J said his CB Ranch potato had very little chicken on it. In fact, initially, I thought they'd given me a 2 Plain Janes because I didn't see any chicken at all. I guess it was under the massive blob of sour cream and the massive blob of Ranch dressing. J rarely complains about food - but he said his potato was not filling and he also said the ranch and sour cream overpowered the taste of everything else (paraphrasing). Value - I do not feel like the amount of food we got was worth $30. But that seems to be the way things are since the pandemic / supply chain issues have driven prices up. Overall / summary - Food quality and value / portions have changed (for the worse) - so I'll probably wait another year or more before I try them again.

It also has some high boy tables and booths. I decided to sit in at high table by the window and enjoy my lunch with a view. Trying to be in my healthy girl era so I decided to get the house salad that is served with honey mustard, and a order of rosemary pepper fries. This combo is the ultimate girl lunch. The salad was very good. At first glance, I thought it didn't have enough dressing on it so I went to the side where they have condiments and pour myself a little cup of honey mustard to add to my salad. That was a mistake because now my salad was overdressed. If I would've just mixed it up, I would've noticed that they had plenty of dressing on the lettuce underneath. But that's OK. It was still very good. And the rosemary pepper fries were perfect. The right amount of seasoning and flavor. They were very much the star of my lunch. This place is also very reasonable. I believe my lunch was less than $20. The staff was really nice. I asked young lady questions because this was my first time at a super chix. She was actually the one that recommended the rosemary fries. I would definitely recommend this spot for a cute casual lunch if you're out in the Kennesaw area.

The place was hopping with both dine-in and take-out orders, but there was an employee hustling to clean the tables on this Friday about 1PM. I managed to find a clean table and filled my cup while waiting (they have a Pepsi fountain machine). To sample a couple of different sandwiches I got a small Chicken Chipotle Crunch and small Grilled Italian with a side of fries. I should have gone with mini as small is quite generous and filling (see pictures). I liked the fried onions in the Chicken Chipoltle Crunch and most of the favor came from the sauce. The tomatoes on both sandwiches were a bit too pale and tasted watery. The Grilled Italian was definitely the more flavorful of the two with great seasoning on the meats. The bread was nice and soft. The side of fries were of the coated variety and were fresh, hot, and crisp with the breading having a great seasoning. All the hard surfaces and glass windows made for quite the echo chamber, and even with half the tables occupied the noise level was quite considerable. I swung by Season on a Thursday late morning - trying to beat the weekend warriors - and let me tell you, the ancestors were smiling on me because I got sat immediately. The space is that perfect small-to-medium sweet spot. It's cozy but doesn't feel like you're sitting in the next person's lap. They've got indoor and outdoor seating, and while I could see a line forming fast on a Saturday, the flow was smooth. It's got that "if you know, you know" energy that I appreciate. I started with a freshly squeezed OJ. Simple, right? Wrong. This wasn't that watered-down carton stuff; it was crisp, vibrant, and felt like a hug for my immune system. For the main event, I went with the Tamale Huevos Rancheros. These were two handmade chicken tamales topped with eggs - I requested mine fried hard, because runny yolks are a bridge too far for me - along with house-made salsa, crema, avocado, and bacon. The flavor profile was elite. The tamales were authentic and seasoned to perfection, with a soulfulness that reminded me why I love a well-executed fusion dish. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! I couldn't just stop there, so I added a Maduro buttermilk pancake and the cheddar grits to the order. Let's talk about these grits for a second. These are hands down some of the best I've ever had. No exaggeration. They were creamy, sharp, and seasoned like the chef actually likes the people they're cooking for. Even the pancake was a revelation - it was very unique and stood out from the standard "flat and sugary" situation you get at most spots. If you're looking for a spot that actually delivers on the hype without the pretentious atmosphere, this is it. It's the kind of meal that makes you want to go home and take a nap, but also call your parents and tell them you're eating well. I'll be back, just please don't take my seat when I do.
