A great representation of the franchise. It's a newer model and the decor in the dining room is nice and there are also a few umbrellaed tables on a patio in the front. And we sat at those after we finished out meals and enjoyed the spring sunshine while I finished my soft serve. This is also the first time I've seen a Jason's with a drive-thru. The big TV menus above the registers give it an initial fast-food impression. But I was glad to find the quality the same and that my favorites are still available. I ordered the New York Yankee which is still a ridiculously huge sandwich full of wonderful and delicious pastrami. The bread looks like marbled rye, but sadly I didn't pick up any rye flavor. I also had the salad bar, and although at first it looked smaller than I was used to, it still had lots of variety with good ingredients. And of course I always forget they have soft-serve ice cream and the little kid in me is always surprised and delighted. Service was quick and polite. Today was my first and most likely last trip to Jason's Deli. When we arrived, I noticed that they had a salad bar. I haven't seen one of those in a while but I remembered how people treat a salad bar and since we were in line for a really long time, I was reminded how people deal with a salad bar. I saw a man scooping up something like potato salad and then using his fingers to wipe the food out of the spoon onto his salad. I highly doubt he has washed his hands before using the salad bar. That part made me want to throw up. Of course he threw that spoon back in the food. Other people were reaching over the food and touching the spoons and tongs with unclean hands and then tossing the them back into the food that had touched their dirty hands. There was no way that I was going to order a salad bar after witnessing that! I thought about ordering a salad but opted for a wrap. And boy was I glad I did! While we were eating I saw someone else had ordered a salad (not the salad bar) and someone came behind the counter to the salad bar and made the salad from that contaminated food. The only plus were the free soft serve cones although the cones were stale. I have never seen so many grossly overweight people gorging themselves on mountains of salad and food!! It made me queasy. I don't know why but this location is always cold. I usually have to wear long pants and a coat when I come because they are blasting the AC even in the winter. I ordered the turkey wrap with baked chips and my friends got the salad bar. The bad part about this location is sometimes it can be hard to find a clean table (although they only usually have 1 person cleaning tables for the whole place). And sometimes the salad bar is bare (not refilled) and the lettuce can be a bit dicey sometimes. Still upset that they changed the salad bar rules- before COVID you paid around $10 for unlimited refills/trips and after COVID you still pay $10 but you only get to go once. Ordered delivery tonight. Got the Reuben sandwich and a "make your own salad". First impression was amazing. The Reuben was nice and big, and looked great with a little sauerkraut peeking out. But that's where the positive reactions ended. Kind of hard to screw up a salad unless the ingredients are old/rotten. These ingredients were fine, but the flavor just didn't taste remotely good. Not bad, but a little off, and not something I'd order again. Something I couldn't identify just had a funny flavor. The Reuben was down-right bad. Zero flavor of the typical Reuben with the great smoky, salted pastrami flavor, with all those pickling spices. It was like eating a piece of beef boiled in water with zero seasonings. I usually order the "Chicago club" , which for some reason is no longer on the menu but every location still serves it if you ask. It's a Turkey BLT on this delicious focaccia, which is made perfectly, with spinach, tomato,Turkey, bacon, and some special spicy mayo based sauce, absolutely delicious. Never let's me down. I enjoy going to Jason's for the salad bar. The salad bar gets a lot of traffic so the ingredients are refreshed regularly. There are so much on their bar, lots to choose from. Having a free ice cream after my meal is always an ice treat. I do wish however they would invest in upgrading the seats. Many of them are torn and a lot have lost their padding so you sink way down when you sit. Service is fast the food is really great and it it is not overpriced. I highly recommend. read more

I never had a big problem ordering doordash from here. Today I decided to go into the restaurant. I get its church rush, so I was expecting it to be busy. Regardless I shouldn't have to keep getting up from my table to get utensils, missing food, AND COMPLAIN ABOUT RAW FOOD. I told the food runner, about it. He said he'll get me a new pastry dough since mine was raw. Never got it ever! The soup was bland, just needed salt. There was no salt, napkins or any sort of condiments at the tables. When I finally see the salt up where the muffins were, they were all empty. Salt & pepper shakers all empty. I was not the only person having to constantly get up from their seat to ask for something. Don't even get me started on the salad bar. Hygiene left the building, there was not one sauce ladle not drenched in the other various sauces. I did see them attempt to restock the veggies, but they didn't even switch out the dirty containers. I also got the salad bar buffet, I barely ate a plate before my stomach started to hurt. I left, I felt in my gut I felt like I was going to start puking.I'm not nice when I puke. Honestly with how gross they kept they stored the food. Disgusting, I will also stop doordashing food from here. Nice job on the wet floor sign, except they didn't even have the decency to mope the actual floor. Came for a Muffalette, left with 2 very overpriced ham and a Turkey sandwich. Yes 2 different sandwiches and not one of them with the right meats! The olive salad was only some black and green olives, No EVO or anything. The bread was the only thing that made it look like a real muffaletta. This place is an oldie but a goodie. The salad bar today was exactly what it should be--awesome. I also had a cup of Irish potato soup, which was loaded and equally delicious. Emily and Parker working at the drive thru window during dinner hours are by far and away the worst two service industry workers I've ever experienced. They consistently get my order wrong, the last 4/5 times, and don't bother to come back to the window to help. I instead have to go in as they peer around the corner and send someone else to deal with it. If you want your order right, I suggest coming for lunch as otherwise this location is okay. read more

I had been craving a baked potato for months now. My visit to Loaded Baked Potato doesn't count since I didn't actually eat my potato. Lol. This was my first time visiting in quite a while - and I have to say - things have really changed since the pandemic. Interior / Exterior - didn't really see much of the exterior and none of the interior because I phoned my order in and used drive-thru to pick it up. I will say, the drive thru window is oddly high. And the back exit / entrance to the parking lot is steep. Even though I know how bad it is ... and I cut and angle accordingly, I always scrape the bottom of the car leaving. Argh. Customer Service - The young lady who took my phone order sounded pleasant and friendly. Not sure if it was the same lady working the drive thru window - but if so, she was decidedly less friendly once I arrived. When I first pulled up, I think she thought I was a last minute customer and she did not seem thrilled at my 9:53pm arrival. Food - I ordered my usual Plain Jane. I also ordered a chicken salad on toasted wheat, lettuce and tomato on the side, no pickle spear. It came with plain chips (Ruffles). I also ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch Potato. I gotta say, I was pretty disappointed in the food. See photos. Initially, they gave me untoasted bread on the sandwich. But they also gave me MULTI-GRAIN wheat bread. Turns out, they don't have plain wheat bread. And I asked specifically if they had WHEAT bread when calling it in. Normally, this wouldn't be a big deal but I was dropping some of this food off at the hospital and the sandwich recipient can't eat bread with lots of seeds and grains due to diverticulosis. When checking the order initially, I just glanced at the bread and asked them to please toast it since they forgot. Once I got the sandwich back and confirmed that it was, in fact, multi-grain bread, I didn't want to further annoy the cashier by asking them to change the bread - so I wound up paying 'sandwich prices' for a lump of chicken salad and a bag of chips. I also thought the tomato portion was pretty skimpy. At least 2 slices would seem more appropriate for a slice of bread this wide. The baked potatoes looked sloppy and 'thrown together.' And each of them had massive blob of sour cream obliterating the most of the toppings. They used to put the butter and sour cream on before the toppings and they distributed everything beautifully and evenly. When I inquired about this, the cashier said they started doing it this way (with the blobs) because customers kept complaining / questioning whether any sour cream was actually on the potato. I can totally see that happening, but man! I wish they did it the old way. Whoever dressed this potato put a fair amount of my cheese and bacon on the potato skin - versus the potato, so I found myself trying to peel and scrape toppings into the potato - to keep from eating plain white potato. And trying to distribute that big blob of sour cream was a nightmare. There was no butter on it all - which helps my arteries but not my taste buds. Lol. J said his CB Ranch potato had very little chicken on it. In fact, initially, I thought they'd given me a 2 Plain Janes because I didn't see any chicken at all. I guess it was under the massive blob of sour cream and the massive blob of Ranch dressing. J rarely complains about food - but he said his potato was not filling and he also said the ranch and sour cream overpowered the taste of everything else (paraphrasing). Value - I do not feel like the amount of food we got was worth $30. But that seems to be the way things are since the pandemic / supply chain issues have driven prices up. Overall / summary - Food quality and value / portions have changed (for the worse) - so I'll probably wait another year or more before I try them again. read more

I normally get great food here, we stop after church every s Sunday. This weekend. My Bigger Better BLT had brown avocados on it. Very gross. I find it hard to believe who ever made my sandwich didn't notice. Also my gumbo only had one shrimp. I hope this was just a bad unlucky scoop of soup and not a way to save money. All things considered, this was an impressive place. The food is delicious. High quality stuff, fresh, yummy. The staff were very courteous and kind to a T. The facility was clean and welcoming. Imagine a cross-over between a high-dollar Subway (with all organic foods and such) and a Sweet Tomatoes. I didn't realize they had a salad bar. What's more, they have two stations that are included with any in-house purchase: all-you-can-eat ice cream, and a bread station that included cornbread muffins and garlic bread, both of which were excellent. Very cool. When I first walked in, it was a bit confusing where to go; there are three different stations, one for pick-up, one for delivery drivers (I guess like UberEats?), and one for dine-in. They had a limited menu posted on the board, because their full menu is on paper in little pockets near the cash register. I didn't realize this, so was a bit confused at first. The customers are more upper class, yuppie types, which fits with the cost. The only reason I mention this is because they are very specific about what they want, and it can take a while to order. I waited in line almost seven minutes behind a person who was very specific about what he wanted on his salad and what he didn't and then haggled a bit about the price. It's what you get with this kind of clientele. You get what you pay for here, but you pay for what you get. A sandwich is around $10, include a drink, and you're looking at $15 a person walking out the door (with tax and such). That's a steep price for a family like mine, but I will just as readily acknowledge you get great value for what you pay. All in all, a good place. I probably won't be back because it's out of my usual area and because of the price, but I would recommend it. read more

Even with the pandemic going on...we live going to Jason's. The sandwiches are well worth the price. We usually get the manager's special. I get the California club with a bowl of tomato soup usually. My husband rotates sandwiches but usually gets the salad bar to go with it. Salad bar is not open during the pandemic so I'm looking forward to that part again. They do still give you a free ice cream if you want. Just ask for the cone at the counter. My small office ordered pick up from here off the catering menu. I got the manager's special box. It comes with half a sandwich, soup or fresh fruit, potato chips, a pickle, and a cookie or a fudge brownie. I chose a roast beef sandwich on rye marble bread with broccoli cheese soup, chips, and a brownie. You get to choose your type of bread from 10 types of breads, and you can choose from 6 types of cheese (not sure what the limit is, but I chose 2; swiss and provolone. There was no mayo on the sandwich but a packet of mayo was included, as well as plastic utensils so that I could spread it. No problem. There may have been other condiments (like mustard) included, but I don't remember because I only used mayo. Everything without exception was delicious. The roast beef wasn't sliced super-thin (think Arby's) but also wasn't thick. It was a pleasant sandwich slice. The bread was beautiful and moist and smelled and tasted great. I wish I had taken a photo before I devoured it. My soup was flavorful and a nice consistency, thick and creamy. Excellent. Brownie was rich and decadent. Chips were packaged chips. Maybe Zapp's? There was sadly no pickle included. There was plenty of food. I was STUFFED and honestly likely could have eaten half of it and been comfortably satiated, but it was so good that I couldn't stop. My only complaint (other than lack of pickle, but I still enjoyed every bite of food) is that the website is not at all intuitive. My boss asked us to look at the catering menu, sandwich and hot meal boxes. I did. From the "menu" area, it doesn't show things like what choices of bread and cheeses there are (and it should, because I love the large selection!) I had to go to "online ordering" and pretend that i was placing an online order to get the choices. On the menu it just said "assorted cheeses," and no bread choices were listed. Hot meals were listed on the menu prior to clicking "order online," but not individual hot meal boxes, only servings for 5 or more. Once I clicked "online ordering" I was able to see the individual hot meal boxes. My boss, who obviously had clicked there because she was making the order for the whole office, had to tell me to do that so I could see everything available and make my selection. This location was one of the best in the area. However it has become one I won't visit again. Salad bar is now one trip. Which is fine if the bar is full stocked. During a busy lunch it was missing several key items. Ex eggs. Flatbread that I loved has been reformulated and taste stale. I won't be back. With this crazy weather in Georgia, I was actually craving soup. I'm not a huge soup person, but if I can find a tasty tomato bisque, I'll give it a shot. I met with a girlfriend for lunch at Jason's Deli. I haven't been I forever and the only thing I recall eating when they've catered at work was the pasta, which was BOMB and those crackhead brownies. We always enjoy our experience at Jason's Deli. The food is always fresh and served promptly after ordering. We have never went wrong ordering the salad bar. Plenty of vegetables and toppings for your salad. In addition to the salad, they have very good pasta salad and deserts such as chocolate and banana pudding. As for the sandwiches, we have tried both the California Club and Club Royale. Each very appetizing. My favorite is the California Club with the very tasty guacamole. Each sandwich is served with your choice of fruit or chips. Jason's Deli isn't expensive at all. For the quality and array of healthy options I would expect to pay a lot more at other places. I have been eagerly anticipating the opening of this Jason's Deli, which is located on Barrett Parkway between the Subaru dealership and Ethan Allen. For those of you unfamiliar with Jason's they offer a large number of sandwiches, paninis, wraps, pastas, soups, potatoes, muffalettas, and an excellent salad bar. I have tried several things on the menu over the years I have been a Jason's customer, but my favorite is the Chicken Panini. Pressed French bread, with Chicken breast, provolone, basil pesto sauce with nuts, tomatoes, and spinach. The salad bar is my husband's favorite - lots of choices and fresh ingredients. Other stand outs are the Reuben and the Beefeater. They also offer several gluten free and vegetarian menu options, and you can find related menus on their web site. I was excited to see that this location offers delivery and also has a drive-thru. I used the drive-thru tonight and was surprised to see that the drive-thru menu is very limited compared to what you can get inside the restaurant. However, when I inquired about whether I could order the Panini they prepared it for me without hesitation. They have three dedicated parking spots for people in the drive-thru who order things that may take longer time to prepare. Sandwiches average around $7 and include chips. Bonus - Everyone gets free soft serve ice cream with their meal! Sweet! read more
