I haven't been back to Atlanta Bread in years and I'm happy to have come back. We could get breakfast or lunch which is great for a group who is looking for different things. My "Have 2" Caprese panini & Butternut Squash soup were delicious! Truly one of the best Capreses I've ever had. My teenager opted for a Greek Yogurt parfait and a Chocolate Chocolate Chip muffin. The parfait was ok with a generous portion of extra thick Greek yogurt. My tip: In lieu of a bowl, it might be better served in a parfait glass so it could be thoughtfully layered. The muffin was sheer perfection, moist and tasty. My husband got the "Have 2" Steakhouse panini and French onion soup. The sandwich was really salty. The soup was traditional and really good. We ordered two coffee items: a tall mocha and vanilla nut brewed coffee. They were both tasty but took a long time to get. Long enough that when I came back with the drinks, my tablemates were done eating and I hadn't started. Not sure if they were shortstaffed but the employees were very pleasant, kind, and accommodating. For example, I asked for half n half in lieu of the nondairy Coffeemates creamers. Clean nice corner store with views to the plaza. I have visited this store before and did enjoy my sandwich very much. Today I just loved my apple pastry with dark roast coffee. It was so tasty and enjoyable. I felt like being back in Skandinavia where you don't have to have huge meal, you can just enjoy good "coffeehouse moment". Service was friendly and prices were reasonable. Even I liked drinking my coffee from a paper cup and didn't mind eating my pastry from a paper plate. I almost exclusively order this location as delivery. My experience with their orders, for some random person to pick up and deliver to me, has never been anything less than fantastic. I really appreciate the consistency I get in quality and correctness of my order. It makes a much easier morning with satisfying two different diets. Their pastry is very good. You can't go wrong on which one you choose. I had a cheese danish, avocado toast, and regular coffee. Total cost $15 . It's definitely not cheap. Is it worth it, maybe, but if you're on a budget, better off going somewhere else, especially if you have a family. I do recommend trying it by yourself and getting your own opinion. read more

She had zero patience and then expected me to leave a tip which I did because I've worked in the food industry. They have the very best coffee anywhere! The only place that I know about that serves Lavazza Gran filtro. I have been to two other ABC locations (the one in Roswell and the now closed on Barrett Pkwy) this is my favorite. (Note: the Roswell location doesn't have the dark roast blend-the last time I checked. Thumbs down on that!) I do wish they had soy or non-dairy creamer.... Service: In the past they had pretty good service but now it can be a hit or miss. Food: Honestly I come here for coffee but I've had their Waldorf salad sandwich and their turkey sandwich with dressing. Both were really good. I just wish I wasn't lactose intolerant. Parking: Lets talk parking....the fact that they have parking even around peak time! Service can be a hit or miss. I don't mean they're rude or anything like that. After a Target shopping trip, my daughter begged and pleaded for some food, so we made a quick stop at Atlanta Bread. It was my first time dining at Atlanta Bread in probably a decade. My expectations weren't very high but we had a nice experience. My daughter deemed her Mac and cheese and bread the "best ever" and immediately asked to return again sometime soon. I ordered the Cubano sandwich which was fine but could have used some more flavor oomph. Yummy cookies ended the meal well. The dining room was busy but still had plenty of open tables. My butternut squash soup was thin and was not topped with sour cream. I ordered a roast beef sandwich with no onions and got no onions or cheese! They were struggling back there to get orders out. Our first time in today and it was great! My 3 year old daughter had the Avocado toast, it was very fresh and delicious. I wasn't too hungry, so I just got a Asiago bagel with cream cheese - ohhh that bagel was SO GOOD and so fresh! Ended up here on a Thursday afternoon with a coworker. The service was great and the food was what was expected. As a chain restaurant here in Atlanta, I expected exactly what I got. However, this was my coworkers first time here. I ended up with the chicken pesto Panini. They definitely served it in the appropriate fashion...hot and clearly pressed, however, it was lacking a good solid flavor. The pesto seemed to be basic and did not really help the sandwich at any point. However, it was still hot and edible, which means I ate it. My coworker selected a special that they had listed under the Panini section, so he expected a hot sandwich, however when they delivered it, it was less hot and more sadly chilled. He still enjoyed the flavor and taste, but did miss the warmth. He simply did not want to cause an issue and was more hungry than he thought at the time. The place is clean and the folks working there have been helpful and positive. This is hard to find these days where we have all come to expect a lowered level of service wherever we go. I've probably ordered from them almost weekly for the last 4 or 5 months If you were in there a year or more ago and were turned off for whatever reason, give them a shot now!
