Cool little pie store. I saw it from the road and knew I needed to stop. There were a number of both savory and sweet options. As much as I wanted to grab one of those, I decided to go sweet. They had a number of options and all looked good. You could basically pick the serving size you wanted from a whole pie down to the slice. I want with a slice of the Peach Crumble. What a slice! I was going to get it to go and then they asked if I wanted it heated. Once that was a yes, the pie was not making it out of the store uneaten. The pie was great...everything about it, except maybe that I only got one slice. We also grabbed a couple of iced coffees before we hit the road. Great place and great pie! read more

First of all.... Amazing customer service! This place is absolutely adorable and the man that helped us was so nice! He answered all of questions and even upsold us on a rosemary chicken pot pie. SO glad he did! My husband had a slice of the almond joy pie and um.. I accidentally ate half of his when he left for work the next day. It was absolutely incredible and will definitely be on our must haves when guests come to town. I had the chocolate chess pie and it was so much better than I even imagined. It was as he described it; like a gooey brownie. I didn't share. Next time I'll try it heated as he suggested so that it's like a molten lava. So yes, there will be a lot of next times. I baked the chicken pot pie at home and it was 90 minutes of pure torture. The house smelled so good for the rest of the evening. First, let's start with that crust; it was like phyllo crescent pie crust? I don't know but it was fantastic. I mean, who eats all of the crust of a meat pie usually? The inside was packed full of vegetables, shredded chicken and an insanely flavorful gravy. We ordered the small one and split it which was more than enough and would've had leftovers if we didn't have dogs. I figured they earned it having to smell that cook for so long. Pie bar has been a HUGE part of my life. My now husband and I had our first date there, we had them doing our 'wedding cake' and then later brought our daughter. I like that you can buy pie by the slice, making it easy to try more than one. They offer both sweet and savory options, and everything looked good. My sister and I each picked a slice and shared. Someone brought the Pie bar pies again this time for Christmas. They look absolutely beautiful apple with caramel and a key lime pie. Key lime pie was pretty good and we enjoyed it. Months...long months ago...I purchased a toasted coconut pie here, and it was WONDERFUL...GLORIOUS!! My 95 and 96yo parents LOVED IT!! Their caregiver LOVED IT!! I LOVED IT!!! When I went back the following week to purchase another, I was told that pie had been seasonally rotated out, so I purchased the coconut replacement, which I was told people were giving rave reviews. It was nominally okay but not worth the price and not in the same league as the toasted coconut. Ever since, I have been calling to check availability of the toasted coconut, but it's return seems to be many months...even years...away. I had several of their pies before the toasted coconut, and some of them were okay, but none have even approached the flavor I experienced by ordering it. The toasted coconut is worth MORE than its price! All others just remind me that Ray's Donuts taste pretty stinkin' good, are much cheaper, and aren't that much further away from me. I will exchange this review for a wholehearted 5 star review when you bring back the toasted coconut pie!!! But, I tire in my efforts to find that you have done this... Your employees seem nice, but are they just mocking me behind my back when trying to sell me obviously inferior products? How can I know? read more

The best pies I have ever had. My girlfriend and I are not even big "pie people" but this place has changed our hearts for good. They always have someone friendly working the front. The key lime pie is honestly crazy good and I do not say that lightly. Being a Florida guy myself, I tend to be very critical of key lime pies but this one is worth the visit. Let's start by saying worst parking in the universe. Number two, walking into it. He had literally 5 pies in a case that looked like garbage employee. Whoever he was, it was confused while I was even in there. And did not even greet me. Soooooo it seems I put my foot in my mouth. Not ONE full day after my first visit at pie bar, I had a slice of their chocolate chess pie at a friend's bbq and y'all I was amazed. Someone brought a full pie over and I regret not taking the entire pie home with me when I left. It was a beautiful brownie-like center in a perfect pie crust. When I asked where it was from I burst out laughing considering my first experience the afternoon before. I didn't see the chocolate chess pie on display when I visited, but now that I know it's there I will probably be back for a slice (or 8) sooner than I'd like to admit. I happened to be the area (as rare as that sounds) and decided to hit up Pie Bar for some dessert after a huge heavy lunch down the street. I got in on the last Pumpkin Praline Pie of the season and scored a slice. I paired it with a cup of hot coffee, adding some pumpkin syrup because why not? The coffee was just ok but the pumpkin praline pie was delicious. Not super sweet or heavy, but definitely everything you expect a slice of pumpkin praline to be. Indoor seating was limited at the time (early Dec 2020) but hopefully there is a little more room now that businesses are mostly back to normal in Atlanta. I have very strong fillings for Pie Bar! I took a virtual pie filling class with the owner, Lauren in October and loved the outcome. I've been wanting to get my hands on one of their pies ever since. I couldn't make it out to the store for the Thanksgiving pick-ups, so Christmas was my chance. We ordered the Bourbon Chocolate Pecan pie and chose the time for a December 23rd pick-up. Pick-up went smoothly. I was greeted upon entering and my order was waiting for me. I had a chance to meet Lauren IRL and chat with her briefly. She's even more wonderful in person. We dropped in late on a Sunday afternoon after venturing out to Woodstock to go to Cupcakealicious. This was place was just too hard to pass up and I LOVE Pies! LOVE LOVE LOVE PIES! It reminded me a little bit of Crave Pie Studio in Duluth so I was excited. My gf, son and I all rushed to the door. Very nicely decorated Pie boutique shop. They were limited on pies available due to time of the day but we were able to order a slice of a larger pie. I got the peanut butter cream pie and my gf got a slice of the chocolate chess. I loved the peanut butter cream pie! Was easy to woof down and certainly creamy & sweet. Kinda wished it had more crunch to it. The chocolate chess pie wasn't moist and the crust wasn't really good. Recently went there for the first time when we had out of townguests. Although the pies they had there looked amazing, there weren't very many to choose from (maybe eight) and that was disappointing. We got the blueberry cobbler and it was delicious, although perhaps not a traditional pie. Be prepared to spend $36 or more for a pie, but it served eight very generous slices (could have been adequate for 10 or 12) and was very rich. We thought it was a great idea to offer frozen pie crusts you could take home as well as savory pies. The person at the counter was nice, but couldn't truly explain the consistency of one of the pies when asked. I would go again, but make sure my wallet was more prepared. The four of us also talked about how we wish they would've taken the bar theme further and made it seem more like a bar somehow. It felt like the decorations were just kind of generic and they weren't utilizing the potential of "bar".
