Vegan gumbo was fire! Packed with flavor, filled with delicious veggies, large portion and served with crispy bread. I think they had two to three vegan options and they also have spirit free drinks. It's a large space with a stage and the night i was there they had live music. If was extremely loud and I appreciate jazz. It was difficult to talk and too loud to truly enjoy the music. Ear plugs are needed or a spot in the back. Check out their events because it's a cool date night spot or just a fun place to go with friends. Parking is free and they do accept reservations and it's recommended if there is a popular event.

I finally made it to Indigo Room and I went on a Wed. for open mic/jam session night. The space is amazing with lots of seating and nice decor. The band that evening was awesome! I can see this being like the next City Winery on the west side for sure. There's nothing like live music, wine and good food. The service was great and I really appreciated the smiles and kindness the staff showed me as I came by myself. The downside for me was the price of the food and appetizers. Be prepared to spend some money for food lol. The wine was specially priced on Wed with 5 dollar glasses which I really loved.

Came on a Wednesday. The atmosphere is worth three stars. Live music and service were great. However... the food was horribly bland! I was hopeful but definitely underwhelming.

I came here to celebrate my friend's birthday and Indigo Room was definitely a vibe. The lighting is dim, the space feels intimate, and the live jazz really sets the tone. It gives grown and sexy. It's actually a pretty big space with a decent size parking lot and free parking, which I always appreciate. There's a main bar area, a separate seating section with a wine bar, and they do offer hookah if that's your thing. So it doesn't feel cramped at all. We went on Wine Up Wednesday and the $5 wine and $5 Mahogany Blackberry Lemon Drops were a win. I ordered the Dizzy Side Car and really liked it. We also got the honey jerk wings as an appetizer -- they were good, but I personally felt like they could've had a little more punch to them flavor-wise. For my entrée, I had the garlic steak tips with sweet potato hash and Brussels sprouts -- everything was well seasoned. The cornbread with guava butter is a must. There aren't a ton of vegetarian options, but there are a couple. One of my friends got the tofu bowl and enjoyed it. Someone else ordered the oysters with greens -- they said the portion was small for $22, but the greens were good. We also had shrimp and grits and the Bourbon Airline chicken at the table. I believe they enjoyed their dishes, but the chicken portion was on the smaller side. They have different specials and live music throughout the week, not just Wednesdays. The staff were friendly and the customer service was good. Overall, it's a solid spot in Smyrna if you're looking for live music, good drinks, and a nice atmosphere.

We had a great experience here today. The shrimp plate has to have some of the largest shrimp I've never eaten. They are filling and perfectly seasoned. The Blue drink with Grenadine was also very good and refreshing. We had lunch here today as a part of a fraternity event and loved it. It's perfect for events and they have a Sunday Jazz Brunch which is noteworthy. It is set up as a Jazz lounge and is centrally located in Smyrna--our former neighborhood. They have a full bar as well. The service was also excellent.

Me and My Lady went to Indigo Room on a Saturday Night to catch some Food, Drinks, and live music. I'm going to break everything down: For an App, we ordered the 6 wings: split between Two flavors: Honey Jerk, Lemon Pepper. The wings are good, get straight tho the point-- you can tell the wings were seasoned before and when they're fried, the inner parts of the chicken are still moist. ** Pro tip: Just get the wings ** keep reading for the rest of the review My Purty lady ordered the Garlic steak tips cooked medium w/ the Brussels and sweet potatoes. It says on the site it comes with rice, but she didn't get that. The entree was like $30, and she counted: 5 steak tips, the rest were the Brussels and potatoes. She said it was real sweet, way too sweet for her to even finish.. So it was picked over. Wouldn't recommend. I ordered the Bourbon Airline Chicken with Spinach and Subbed Mac for the potatoes. The quarter was a really small, but tender cut. The flavor profile was bland a lil bit. Spinach ain't taste like nothing, and the Mac was constructed well, but would be better if it had some seasoning. Wouldn't recommend the chicken or the Spinach. Go for the Mac as a side if you like. The Drinks were good! My beautiful black snack ordered a strawberry lemon drop: subbed tequila and had a rim..no notes. It was good and did the point. I got a standard margarita that was good as well, we got two drinks a piece. We ordered a hookah since we saw they offered it, and said "why not, that'll help with the vibe of watching the live music" but either through a mix up or just time management: it took like 30-35 mins to come out. We ended up canceling before hand to pay the bill and dip. As I paid the check, our waitress brought it out: sorry baby girl, it wasn't your fault... Hookah in ATL and surrounding is a luxury, yall kinda gotta flip those quick. We may have been the only, or the first that ordered it, but nevertheless. We ain't really feel like waiting that long. We would go again on just a chill vibe, if we snackish and just wanna catch a drink and a hookah. I may update after we try their hookah for the first time. Just get the wings if you hungry, and drink. Skip the other food and just vibe out!!

Best dinner date spot in Smyrna, hands down! From the moment you enter, the ambiance is so romantic! Dimmed lights, chandeliers, candles, and live jazz (what?!!), it was perfect! The staff was super friendly and attentive- A++! Eva was our waitress- she was awesome! And the food... oh my wow! The explosion of flavors was fantastic. We ordered from the appetizer menu: gumbo, cornbread, fried green tomatoes. All the seasonings and sauces were on point. I ordered the drink special (can't beat a blackberry lemon drop for $5) and it was delicious. We will definitely be back!

I dint want to give them 3 stars for my one complaint. I came here for a birthday dinner. On this particular day, they had live jazz music. It was great hearing the live music. The waitress was cool for the most part. I was confused as to why we were sharing menus, instead of her bringing menus for everyone. Everyone ordered as they arrived. One friend ordered the shrimp and grits. When I seen her plate come out, it made me want to order it. Here's my only complaint. Her plate came out as a dinner portion. Being the birthday girl, you would think they would have my food to my liking. I decided to order the same thing as my friend. My plate came out as a lunch portion im assuming. The plate was much smaller and I only had about 4-5 shrimp in my plate. I was really disappointed. I didn't say anything but didn't want to be difficult in my special day. But also should have. I also ordered the jerk wings, they were good. The butter cornbread was tasty. The steak bites were just ok, but the sweet potatoes in the dish was really good. Another friend enjoyed the greens, but thought her oysters were small. I believe she only got 5-6 small oysters for $22, she thought that was too much. I did like that the wine maker.brought is over a tasting of his signature wine. It was really good. Some of ordered the lemon drop. It was good. I also had the wine flight. They came in 3 tiny shot glasses. They could have been a slightly larger pour. All 3 flavors I chose tasted really well. I will go back for those. I also will give them another try overall. Thanks for allowing me celebrate my birthday at your establishment.

This is such a welcome addition to Smyrna! A jazz lounge that serves dinner and great cocktails. The way they transformed the former Mariscos La Islitas Restaurant makes this place a moody, sultry and elegant dinner club. The hostess greeted me at the door and I was offered a table or bar seating. It was still early (band hadn't started) so I had my pick. There's a small bar at the entry and large bar further inside the restaurant. The small bar looks more to be for takeout orders as it was brightly lit. There's a mix of high top tables, booths and sofa sections to get a view of the stage. On my visit the server Ava was gracious to ask if the bar could make a drink that's off menu - a Whisky Smash. My cocktail was refreshing, presented well and tasty. On this visit I didn't stay for dinner or catch the band so I have a reason to come back. This is a great location to take a group, celebrate a special occasion, date night or just after-work happy hour. Go check them out!

Unfortunately, the service brought your score down. We had a reservation for dinner and the young lady who initially met us, did not even ask us this. She greeted us with, "we have an event going on, so seating is tight." OK - Well I have reservation. That seemed to help her find us a table. When she sat us, she handed us one menu for my wife and I. No wine list, (at a wine market) and no introduction. After 5-6 minutes, our server came out and said hello, but did not bring water or the wine list still. But, she did inform us again about the event going on. WE know restaurants are busy on weekends and even more so in the holiday season, but the constant reminders of "The event" does two things, one the servers are creating an excuse to say, you are going to receive slow service, and two, it felt like, how dare we show up during an event night. Finally on our servers 2nd visit, we were able to receive a second menu and the wine list. We ordered the 6 piece charcuterie and two glasses of wine. The server who made the charcuterie board, was very pleasant and proud of her creation, and rightfully so, the board was beautiful and delicious. We enjoyed our wine choice and decided to buy a bottle, our server, had zero wine experience. She did not present the bottle to me, (I have the wrong bottles brought out on a few occasions, and this is just a common courtesy) she uncorked the bottle, did not present the cork, she poured from the bottle into glasses that already had wine, granted we ordered the same wine, but at a wine market with a big event, maybe two new glasses should have been brought out, just in case. Then after she poured our glasses, she DROPPED the cork on the floor, picks it up and sticks in our bottle. Do your servers do that with silverware? Then she began to walk away with our bottle, I asked her to please leave the bottle on the table. She was seemed like that was an odd request. Overall, if we could give half stars, I would say 3.5 for the review, it was saved by your charcuterie server, as well as the taste and quality of the meats and cheeses, as well as the wonderful selection of wines. We will be back and hopefully, you take these comments constructively, and have your servers trained up a little more to be assets to your establishment.

Pros The quiet, intimate, and classy atmosphere was exactly what I needed for my family. When we first arrived, our table was not ready and we had to wait outside. However we were given continuous updates on when the table would be ready, they apologized, and they were very understanding. Considering we were a large party in an intimate space, we understood and only waited about 20 minutes before the table was ready. You could tell the food was fresh, the orders came fast, and the service was amazing. The fresh in house pasta took everything to the next level. It was the perfect night out. Cons The establishment is intimate so I do not think it would ideal for extra large parties. We've happily paid what is, frankly, a premium price for pizza and wings because the food has traditionally been worth it. But tonight was a complete breakdown in customer service--and likely the end of the road for us. We placed a simple online order (one pizza and two dozen wings) at 5:30pm with a promised pickup time of 6:00pm. My husband arrived at 6:05pm and waited in line, only to be told the order wasn't ready. After standing there for another 25 minutes, he got back in line. When the cashier recognized him, she asked his name and then said, "Let me get a manager." At that point, he watched the manager hurriedly assemble and package our order on the spot. No explanation. No apology. Just a dismissive "thank you for your patience" before moving on to the next customer. Meanwhile, he observed a steady stream of delivery service orders being prioritized and sent out while he stood there waiting. Let's be clear: if you order through delivery apps like Uber Eats or DoorDash, you're already paying a significant markup--easily 25% more. So tonight, we made the effort to order direct and pick up ourselves, thinking we'd save money and have a better experience. Instead, we waited longer, received worse service, and still ended up with subpar food. By the time my husband got home (we live just 2.5 miles away), everything was lukewarm. We had to reheat our entire meal before we could even sit down to eat. Not exactly how you want to spend a Friday night. For a restaurant that charges premium prices, the expectation is basic: timely service, transparency when something goes wrong, and at minimum, an apology. None of that happened here. We've supported this restaurant--and its sister concept Muss & Turner's--for over 15 years. That loyalty clearly means nothing. If I could give zero stars, I would. This felt like a complete rip-off. The owners should spend a Friday night behind the counter and see firsthand what customers are experiencing: disorganization, lack of accountability, and a clear prioritization of delivery apps over the people standing right in front of them. Shame on you.
