First watch is my favorite go to brunch location, hands-down.! I love the farm-to-table style menu. I love that all the options are fresh with no additives. It's a healthy alternative but tasty! Looking for a healthy, clean meal all while being tasty First Watch is here to provide that. I've been eating at First Watch for a while, but this is by far my favorite location, and the service here is phenomenal. The atmosphere is just such a vibe. I like the outside area. I like that the views, you can just people watch. Everything always comes out fresh and fast. I've never had any issues, and I love a seamless start to my day, and First Watch offers just that. So, a few of my favorite things that I recommend that you try are the Floridian French toast, which is fluffy, thick-cut Challah bread, toasted to perfection, dusted with powdered sugar, and topped with fresh berries, kiwi, and bananas, 10/10 recommend. My go-to drink is the Morning Meditation. I do not like beets. I don't like anything about them, but this drink takes the cake! It's the perfect blend of ginger, beets, turmeric, orange, and lemon, all brought together to give you this refreshing feel. I am a pescatarian. There are not a ton of vegan, vegetarian, or pescatarian options, but the menu is highly customizable; just make sure you ask because the answer is always NO if you don't ask. I do a custom omelet with roasted veggies, cheese, and smoked salmon. along with seasoned roasted potatoes, YUMM! I also enjoy the pancakes, their scrambled eggs -- they're so fluffy. The avocado toast, chef's kiss. I also add smoked salmon to that as well. The steel-cut oatmeal was the only oatmeal my grandmother ever made. Farmhouse Hash minus the bacon for me. Wow, I'm getting hungry just thinking about it! They also added alcoholic beverages to the menu. I visited this place for a weekend brunch, but unfortunately, the experience didn't start off smoothly. I had made reservations online, but when I arrived, there were some issues with finding my name. Despite this, the staff was accommodating and kindly waited for the next available table. Decided to place an online order pick up for breakfast. I got the biscuit and gravy sausage but substituted egg whites and fruit cup on the side. Everything was packaged nicely and the gravy was still hot when I received it. Fruit was super fresh and sweet. This is the go-to breakfast/brunch location for my marketing team. It's a step above IHOP and/or Waffle House. They have some unique choices and everything is made fresh. The inside is well-lit, an open kitchen window and plenty of parking. Great place for groups because they have lots of options. First Watch is a health-minded restaurant with food that actually tastes good. A friend and I went there for brunch. Everything was fresh and made to order. The portion sizes were more than enough, and the prices were reasonable. The atmosphere was bright and cheery with a patio and a small bar. We decided to sit at the bar because it was busy, and the bar is first come, first served. The staff was friendly and very attentive. I love First Watch! For chain breakfast spot, this one really can hang with the best of them. There are options for any diet. I like the skillet hash. Omlettes, avocado toast and juices are good too. My favorite thing might be the lemon ricotta pancakes. Fluffy, but with a crisp edge - delicious! I also love that they have many non-pork breakfast meat options. Great service. They also have WiFi. I have worked for a little while after breakfast here on a couple of occasions. Parking is free on the lot behind the restaurant or on the Publix garage. I want to start by saying that I genuinely enjoy First Watch as a brand. I was first introduced to it by a friend and visited another location near her home that was absolutely great. Because I attend a fitness studio across from this location, I figured it would be convenient to start coming here as well. Unfortunately, after several visits, I've realized this particular location just isn't the right fit for me. My first visit here, my order was made incorrectly twice. After the second time, I asked for the item to be removed from my bill and just paid for my drink and waffle. I followed up by sending an email to the manager, Jose, on February 24, 2026 to share my experience. (Received no response till this day 3/10/26 - claims he did not receive it) I went back on February 25 and had a completely different experience. The server who helped me was amazing and was even training another staff member. She was attentive, polite, and checked in often. That visit made me think maybe my first experience had just been a one-off. I returned again on February 27 with no issues. However, on March 4 I had another frustrating experience. I was seated at about 9:44 AM. The restaurant wasn't very busy, and I was seated near the front so I could see guests coming in and being seated. By 9:56 AM no one had greeted me or taken my order. I mentioned it to the host, who apologized and took my order. I received my drink fairly quickly, but by 10:24 AM I was still waiting on food while noticing another guest who arrived after me already finishing his meal. At that point I decided to just pay for my drink and leave. I asked to speak with a manager and spoke with Steve, who was very apologetic and tried to make the situation right. I appreciated his effort and professionalism. After that visit, I decided dining in at this location probably just wasn't for me. However, because I really do enjoy the food (especially the Trifecta and the Morning Meditation) and this is the closest location to me, I decided I would still order through DoorDash even though it costs more. Unfortunately, even that didn't go smoothly. Today my DoorDash order arrived sealed, but my Morning Meditation drink was missing and it wasn't listed on the checked receipt attached to the bag. I called the restaurant and spoke with Jose, who apologized and explained I would need to request a refund through DoorDash since the order was placed through them. He also mentioned there may have been confusion with the ordering screens and beverages should have been switched it and may have been several orders that are messed. He said all he could do is to speak with the team about making sure its done correctly. Also stated he never received my email... At this point, after multiple visits and multiple issues, I think it's fair to say this location just isn't the right fit for me. I still enjoy First Watch overall and have had good/great experiences at other locations, but unfortunately this one has been consistently frustrating for me. read more

I order my food to go because I don't have time to sit down and eat and every time I come to this place they make it there business to make sure they give me my food COLD . Stopped by First Watch in Chamblee for dine in. I was able to try the Traditional Breakfast with a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice. Breakfast truly hit the spot. The eggs were cooked perfectly, chicken sausage was amazing, and the multigrain toast was a great touch. But the real highlight was the orange juice. The OJ, really fresh, tangy, and clearly squeezed in-house. Had to wait about 20 min to be seated, however it was worth the gear service, clean atmosphere, and a relaxing vibe. Hello Atlanta, today was the perfect sunny day to visit First Watch for the first time. Food: good I ate with my daughter and went with the pick two lunch option and a side to save money. She had the ham & Gruyère sandwich and half the bacon side. I had a mixed greens salad with pecans and the accompanying extras that commonly come with this salad. No complaints. Today was quite disappointing for one of my favorite breakfast spots. I hardly ever deviate from my usual breakfast order (Trifecta: over-easy eggs, blueberry pancake, and pork sausage or bacon). I received a disgustingly pathetic meal. The sausage was hard, dry, and tasted burnt. The pancake was dry enough to compare to cornbread or a ho-cake. The blueberries were so dry/burnt that they looked like chocolate chips giving a burnt taste the same as the edges of the pancake. I was dumbfounded by the fact that the waitress looked at this plating and didn't give it back to the cook and say, "I'm not taking that out to my customer". I didn't say anything because I only give reviews for greatness or disaster. I'm sure there's a previously great review from me that can be found here on Yelp or Google. A bad day is inevitable. This was an amazing breakfast spot! There are so many solid options to choose from that it was so hard to pick which to try. The banana pancakes were fresh and delicious. I love that it was served with a warm bottle of maple syrup. Never had that kind of service before. The crunchy granola bits were a great mix of texture. It's a Chain! So by that I don't walk in with massive expectations. Maybe it's just me but I expect it to be consistent and predictable- not a bad thing just a realistic thing. We had a large group on a Saturday- 9 people and a little one. They said 45 minutes but we were sat in about 30 minutes. We ordered quickly and our server was so accommodating and helpful. Food was brought out in reasonable time and she was able to get all of needs meet. The standout was the pancake - large and tasty. Also, the Cinnamon Toast Cereal Milk was a winning brunch cocktail. I enjoyed brunch at first watch I went on Christmas Eve. It was a 30 minute wait. The food did take a while to come out after we ordered but I give them a pass on the because it was Christmas Eve. I love their fresh juices and special menu because it constantly changing. I got the chocolate chip pancake which I loved and I got the steak and bacon burrito as one of their specials. Oh First Watch - how the mighty have fallen! I've been to various First Watch 5+ times, but lately haven't ventured back as there are so many brunch places to try in Atlanta. I had a BOGO coupon sent to me so I came by with a friend! First Watch can be busy on the weekends for brunch, so pro-strat is to definitely add yourself to the waitlist prior to heading over to reduce wait time once you're there. There is free parking in the deck nearby as well as street parking. It was pretty busy in the area because it was a weekend, but had no issues finding parking. We waited only 5 mins once we were inside, but others were being quoted a 30 mins wait time if you're walking in! First Watch definitely looked a tad understaffed and the restaurant was like unbearably warm. Lots of natural light, but it felt like the AC wasn't even on! We waited maybe 10 mins after being seated before a server came by and we just ordered and asked for waters all at the same time because of the amount of time that has passed. We ordered the smoked salmon benedict, million dollar harvest hash, and two honey caramel crunch iced coffees. We actually got our coffees before we got our waters. I'll start with I do love a sweeter coffee and I do enjoy a nice coffee, but this drink was really drinking caramel milk. In a lot of 'honey' drinks, you can barely taste the honey but the honey was strong with this one! It was really so sweet and there was not a single bit of coffee in this I bet. The food came out very slow. Waited maybe 30 mins? I took the picture of the smoked salmon benedict as soon as the server set it down and literally it does not look unappetizing. I've ordered this dish before at another First Watch and it wasn't served like this. We waited so long already so I just dealt with it. The eggs weren't poached and the eggs are literally in shambles. The potatoes were the saving grace and I always love me some FW potatoes. My friend enjoyed her scramble and was stuffed by the end of the meal. I'm glad I had a BOGO coupon, because no way I would pay full price for the meal I had here. I remember first watch being a lot better years ago. But that was the Vinings location. The food was not good very basic. I ordered a blueberry pancake, I did not like it. And the French toast which was ok. The turkey sausage came out cold, I sent it back, it came out cold a second time, and honesty I believe it was the same exact set of sausages I sent back they the brought back out to me which is horrible. I rarely leave negative reviews, but our recent experience here was disappointing enough that it warrants a warning to others. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that customer service is not a priority here. Despite having a reservation, we waited nearly 30 minutes just to be seated and that was after standing awkwardly at the host stand with no acknowledgment from the staff. Several employees walked by without so much as a glance or greeting. Once seated, things didn't improve. We sat at our table for over 20 minutes before anyone came by to offer water or take our drink order. There was no sense of urgency or even basic attentiveness. What really pushed this from a bad experience to an infuriating one was our attempt to speak with a manager. After politely asking twice, we were told the manager was "busy in the back" and couldn't come out. No follow-up, no apology, just a flat out refusal. I've worked in hospitality, and I know how tough the industry can be, but the lack of accountability and unwillingness to engage with customers is inexcusable. To be fair, the food was decent, but nothing special and certainly not worth putting up with the neglect and rudeness. In a city with so many great dining options, there's simply no reason to subject yourself to this level of disregard. Loved the elevated egg sandwich (highly recommend), the avocado toast is pretty solid (although a bit pricey), and would recommend the lemon ricotta pancakes (they're huge though).
