If my bill for just me wasn't $98 with tip I may have given 3 stars but with the big price tag on mediocre food, one star is for my server Nadia, and the other is for effort. The grits were under cooked. $7.00 for two greasy pieces of bacon is just wrong! The drink was mid for $18 dollars. I came here for brunch after church with some friends and was happy with my visit. The staff was short this day and seating was limited. We did have a long wait time but the staff on shift still did what they could to accommodate my group of 4. We also had time and did not mind waiting to be seated. The owner even came out to apologize and thank us for our patience. The restaurant is upstairs and has a loft type of layout. There was good music playing that made you want sing and vibe along. Atmosphere: The place is really nice. The music is acceptable and isn't too loud, but it could be lower due to the small space and the amount of customers. Customer Service: We were greeted on entry. We were asked to wait 20 minutes for seating which was fine. However, the bar was completely open. Unfortunately, they don't serve food at the bar which is fine. The problem is that We ordered soda water and drinks after sitting at an empty bar for 10-15 minutes. After the 25 minute wait, we were seated at our table. It took another 10-15 for the waiter to come over. She didn't seem too busy to at least come over and greet us. When she did come over, there wasn't an introduction or a "hello my name is blah blah blah". It was "hello. What would you like to eat?" Been here for an hour at this point and we are just getting our waters... also we weren't offered any up sales. Drinks maybe? Come on yall. Asked for a menu and it took another 10 minutes for them to ask if we needed anything. Update: It's now 1:03 and we have no food. The order was placed an hour ago. No apps. No entrees. Update: 1:12 and we finally got ONE of three appetizers. We had the chipotle wings with dry seasoning. They were small but REALLY good. Let's see how long the rest take. 7/10. Update: 1:21 we just got the 2nd app. Salmon Bruschetta. Pretty one note- salty. The tomatoes were the star of this dish for sure. 4.5/10. Update: 1:30 we received the deviled eggs and breakfast tacos. Deviled eggs are ok. Taste better without the sweet sugar on the top. Ok we got our entrees. Tacos do not mention cilantro. That's a HUGE downfall as my wife has the tastebuds that cilantro tastes like soap when fresh lol. She picked it off the tacos and they were actually really good with the chicken sausage. 8/10. We arrived around a good brunch time (11:00am) so parking was easy. They're sharing a space so we had to go up some stairs to access the restaurant. There is a nice seating area outside the restaurant if there is a wait. We had a reservation so we were greeted and seated as soon as we entered. The decor is really nice and the music was vibin. We had a great waitress and the manager was helpful with assisting us. There was some confusion or miscommunication with speciality items not on the menu and pricing. If the blueberries in the pancakes is an extra cost make customers aware. I also ordered a mimosa flight and I expect the mimosas to come in the traditional champagne flute but it didn't and I guess that's my fault for expecting that. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was real nice. Dre, the manager, was a tad unprofessional in my opinion. He never acknowledged our table with us waiting over an hour to get our order taken. To make it worse he had his underwear half way out the whole time. Even the other tables were complaining about him forgetting their drinks. But the young ladies Britt and Jayda stayed positive and turned the whole place around with their resilience and dedication to maintain good customer service. My friend and I decided to meet here for brunch after finding this place on TikTok. The restaurant was quite small. I'm glad we arrived early. When we left, lots of people were gathered waiting for seating. There also wasn't a host so things looked a little unorganized. I attempted to start off with one of their crafted cocktails (espresso martini), only to be told they were unable to make my drink due to not having any coffee. Very disappointing considering they had been open for an hour for breakfast. I settled for a glass of champagne. We started off with the "smoked salmon on toast". This was the only thing I somewhat enjoyed. My French toast wasn't anything special and all my sides (eggs, chicken sausage, and potatoes) were cold. My spouse ordered the shrimp and grits that came in a skillet. His entree was better than mine, but lacked seasoning and wasn't worth the money. Ideally, it was just grits stuck to a skillet, topped with grilled shrimp and garnish. A sauce would have made this dish a little better. Overall, very mid dining experience and not worth the money. In going to brunch places in Atlanta it is good that they have their own open parking lot without the extra stuff (valet, paid parking, etc) It is not the biggest location so don't bring the gang lol. The waiting list is done by hand (no text service/automation). The restaurant was understaffed and the host seemed new, but she was very nice.
