Utilizing a coupon, I come here and got their Oreo milkshake for under $5. It was very comparable to the McDonalds McFlurrys which I LOVE. It was a perfect sweet treat to last be two servings worth. Came here after a concert on a Thursday around midnight and the drive through line was long because the inside dining area was closed. The line moved slow. My friend and I shared the jr combo with corndogs, onion rings, cheese bites, and coke float. We added another coke float. It was under $10 for all of it. The corndogs and coke float were really good. The onion rings needed to be cooked longer. The cheese bites were alright. I've been to Cook Outs a few times, and it's absolutely panic attack inducing every single time trying to order off their complete disaster of a menu. On top of that, the kid taking my order barely spoke louder than a whisper, so I had no clue what the hell he was saying half the time I was anxiety ridden, trying to order. After finally getting my order done, I was just ready to get out of there. I got my food, and went home. It was only after I got home that I realize that my order was wrong. My burger was missing the tomato, even though it was clearly on the receipt that I was supposed to have "everything" on it. On top of that, the nuggets I got as one of my side was the saddest three dry little nugs I've ever seen. The bummer is the patties in the burger itself were actually cooked better than most fast food spots. All the negatives make it hard for me to recommend, though... I am Cookout's biggest fan! Ever since moving away from the south, any time I'm around I will make finding a Cookout a priority for the trip. I've introduced so many people to it and every single one has also become obsessed. I wouldn't say Cookout is the highest quality food, but it's magical! Where else can you get a quesadilla with a corndog on the side as well as hush puppies for $5?! Speaking of the quesadilla, I'm so glad I discovered it. It's a bbq chicken quesadilla with a very very slight kick; it's delicious, and you get 2 when you make it your entree. Their milkshakes are the best in the entire world. They have something like 40 flavors and you can mix as many as you want. I get caramel fudge, Reese's, and heath and it's one of the greatest things I've ever tasted and definitely worth the slight drink charge. Cookout is by far the best value in terms of quantity of food for your money, and I've never gotten anything there that I didn't love. I'm a cookout fan for life. read more

Considering there's no good late night eateries on a Sunday I ended up here. I got a typical cheeseburger combo. Opted for season fries and a lemonade. The cheeseburger was basic but better than McDonalds. The cajun fries was regular fries with season salt sprinkled on top. Not all of the fries had seasoning. However the fries are crinkle cut. The lemonade was red. Idk how that happened but I could barely drink it since it was so sweet. And it was a jumbo size. Anywho all of it was under $10. Great spot for a quick and affordable bite in the heart of Atlanta. This location was clean and service was extremely fast at around 10PM on a Friday night. I only ordered the regular fries but my friends ordered their 'trays' which came with plenty of food and then some. The food was pretty solid and traditional fast food style. I ordered a Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and I got two sides, so I chose cajun fries and chicken nuggets (you get three or four). It also comes with a fountain drink. We ordered three combos so it ended up taking a little while, but the wait was so worth it. Hot fried fresh, I savored the fried goodness... The hush puppies are on point. Don't leave this out of your order. The fries are alright. The burger is maybe a step up from McDonalds. Too much bread but quite a cheap and yummy transition from our previous meal. That Heath shake though, it was SUPER rich and thick (impossible to drink through a straw, so take advantage of the spoon) but the Heath flavors were spot on. I couldn't finish it at Cookout so I took it home and let's just say, melted it does not taste good. So be a man, put up with the brain freeze and drink it before it goes bad. However I went through the drive thru at cookout for the first time in a really long time, and never before have I had an issue like this. Girl at window "India" was my cashier. She had a HUGE attitude problem, and gave me an extremely watered down beverage. As I was trying to order, she kept interrupting me, and when I tried to confirm that she had gotten everything in my order she cut me off and wouldn't let me proceed with the rest of my order. Cook Out is the crown jewel of the fast food world. The Mona Lisa to art, the filet to steak, the Ferrari to a normal car.....Okay you get the point. The reason Cook Out is so great is the trays value is unrivaled. I just left having a double bacon cheeseburger, cheese curds, onion rings, and a Mocha/Oreo/M&M milkshake for $7, I mean the milkshake alone at Sonic would probably be $5. Their burgers are my favorite being above the likes of Mcdonalds, Burger King, Wendys, and all other "cheap fast food" as they really arent greasy and come prepared with anything you can dream of, but the quality/taste does fall short of say Five Guys and Shake Shack but those are a lot pricier. The real reason to go to Cook Out is their 40 different shakes which you can mix 3 in one.... that makes for an enormous amount of possibilities. My favorites that ive tried are as follows: (Caramel Cheesecake/M&M/Oreo), (Snickers/Oreo), (Mocha/Oreo), (Mint/Oreo/Heath).
