I visited this location regularly, often twice a week, because it was convenient to my job, and I genuinely wanted to support a Black-owned business. Unfortunately, I had an interaction with someone I understood to be the owner's wife that left me feeling deeply offended. During that interaction, I felt that my character was unfairly questioned and that I was accused of having an inappropriate relationship with her husband simply because I was a loyal customer. Whether intended or not, the experience was humiliating and completely changed my opinion of this establishment. No customer should leave feeling personally attacked or disrespected.
