Food was great and they didn't charge for extra onions. However, just be aware that at lunch they can get backed up and it can take awhile to get your food. They don't sell any sides or anything, just a good cheesesteak.

My friend got their Chicken Cheesesteak thinking it was going to be a combination of their beef as well as chicken. He was unfortunately wrong in that it was entirely chicken. Nonetheless, the sandwich was piping hot and delicious. Staff are straightforward and working hard. It is one stall of many so there are plenty of tables and seats to enjoy it at nearby. Will certainly need to come back and see what the original cheesesteak is all about.

I enjoyed my cheesesteak. It was like a small baby and tasted so good. The staff were so helpful and they worked really fast. This was a must when I decided to go to Chattahoochee Food Works. They are located in the middle of everything. The space isn't that big, but the flavor is huge. I loved my cheesesteak so much, I ordered one for my son too. I went with the original philly and not chicken this time, but I can't wait to go back for another. If you are at Chattahoochee Food Works, make sure you find this spot and get a cheesesteak. You won't regret it.

This place is the jawn! Being from Philly, I'm a cheesesteak snob. A friend told me about this place, so I went. OMG is it a taste of home! I ordered a wiz with, legit scarfed it down in 4 seconds. It was bangin! Owner was super nice, along with the cashier. Service was great. Will DEFINITELY return!

This is my third or fourth time hitting up this spot. Each time I'm hit with the best tasting Philly and I'm never going home regretting it. I've gone to "Philly Steak Spot" and while theirs was certainly bigger, it just didn't hit the flavor. This place is not too salty, you have a choice of cheese. American, Provolone and Wiz. I go with the Provolone and Wiz with my order and just a little bit of mayo. I'm telling you guys....the flavor is here. It's so good I haven't been able to try the Salmon Jawn which I'm ashamed. I bet anything that's wonderful. The people that work here are great too. They smile, they pay attention to the order. If you get a come, they will hold onto the drink till you're ready to get the maximum cool. One guy actually put it in the freezer for me while I waited for my cheesesteak. If you guys haven't tried this spot out, do it! The only thing I would change is offer an XL option. I'd easily pay $3-5 more if I could get this on a 12". It's silly but I'm a big guy, and those three to four extra bites matter. Good luck!

I'm finally leaving a review after my second trip here. The first time I came I got the beef Philly cheesesteak with wiz, cherry peppers, mushrooms, and onions. It was soooo good then so this time around I got the salmon Philly and it didn't leave me disappointed either. I hate they were out of the cheese wiz but I did get it with mayo, mushrooms, hot cherry peppers, and provolone cheese. My other friend got the jerk turkey Philly which she said it was DEE-LICIOUS!

Amazing phillys!! High quality meat, good veggie and cheese options to add on. I think Woodys is a better cheesesteak in flavor and price. G's is 1 of the best places to eat at the works and I would definitely recommend.

Went to the Chattahoochee Food Works location. Excellent service. Got the Salmon Philly and it was delicious. Fully packed with salmon and the fixings. Definitely would recommend.

Philly G Steak is located within The Works. The Works Food Hall has so many food options to choose from. Plenty of parking. The first 2 hours are free. You need to use Parkmobile even though it is free to avoid a ticket. The service was good at Philly G. You only have 2 options steak or chicken cheesesteak, although there was a sign for salmon. I heard the salmon was pretty good. You get a choice of the following toppings: Cheese - American, provolone, or Cheese Whiz Mushrooms Onions Peppers Mayo You get as many toppings as you want. The cheesesteak is $15.99 made with ribeye. The chicken was $13.99, I believe. There are no sides. They do sell Philadelphia Water Ice. If you know, then you know. The cheesesteak was a nice size. You get a full sandwich, no half option. It was wrapped in foil and then paper. There were plenty of cheese, mushrooms, and onions on mine. They accidentally put the mayo I requested on my son's sandwich and not mine. He does not like mayo. He ate part of the sandwich. We were already gone, so there was no turning back. Not bad for Philly cheesesteak. I would come again since not that far away.

First time here and glad to see a pescatarian option! I ordered a salmon jawn (16.99) with provolone and topping and my friend had the same but with ribeye (15.99) . We got them without the cheese whiz. The only vegan option they have is grilled veggies- no impossible, beyond or house made meat. Each steak comes with a bag of chips but no fries or drink. There's open parking but the lot I'd no longer free. You have to register your car and then after 2 hrs, then charge about $5/hr. The parking garage is still free at the moment though. Overall, it wasn't the best salmon cheesesteak I've this was decent and if craving one and was nearby, would go back.

Visit 1/9/23 right before the College Football National Championship watch party at Dr. Scofflaw's for the UGA Alumni watch party. I used to always get Philly chicken and Philly steak cheesesteaks from the dining halls in Athens while a student at UGA, and so it was only fitting I that I ate one before the Georgia domination. I was skeptical about trying this, but I must say this was the absolute best cheesesteak that I have ever had in my life! You must visit the works and hit this place up. I was tempted to order two more, but I'm on a strict diet and fitness routine, however it was tormenting not eating more of it! The employees told me it would be the best and they were right! I plan on going back ASAP!!! Check the pics and I wish they would allow videos.

This was my first time making the walk from Ponce City Market to Krog Street Market, and honestly, that was part of the fun. Krog Street Market was a little smaller than I expected, but it was lively--and Fred's Meat & Bread seemed to be responsible for a pretty significant percentage of the crowd. I've been to another Fred's location before, but that visit was all about the cheesesteak. This time, I had one mission: the burger stack. And the first thing that hits you is the bread. Soft. Pillowy. Almost ridiculously good. It's the kind of bun that makes you stop for a second and appreciate the role bread can play in a burger. The burger itself is well seasoned and packed with flavor, but here's where I struggled. It's rich. REALLY rich. So rich that by the end, I was wishing for some kind of sauce or acidity to cut through it. Something to break up all that richness and keep me going back for another bite. But the pomme frites? Now THAT was the highlight. These weren't just fries thrown on the side. They felt elevated--crispy, delicate, and somehow giving me the feeling that I should be sitting at a little café in Paris instead of standing around Krog Street Market. Easily my favorite part of the meal. Fred's Meat & Bread is clearly a big deal in Atlanta, and I can absolutely understand why. There's real technique here, and the burger is certainly a valiant effort. But Atlanta has given me a LOT of burgers, and I've had quite a few elsewhere that I enjoyed more--and, more importantly, didn't leave me feeling like the burger was sitting on my chest afterward. Valiant effort. Great bread. Excellent fries. But for me, the burger didn't quite live up to the hype.

The owner told me someone once said Atlanta isn't a sandwich city, which is baffling. We are! It's just that no one wants to open a good sandwich spot. Featuring outdoor seating only, this is a charming spot right in the middle of a neighborhood intersection. We ordered at the window and ate out on their patio. The owner is a true gentleman--I'm so glad we got to meet him! He paired my sandwich with a nice pineapple Jarritos and suggested we try his homemade pasta salad. Y'all, this sandwich was on another level. We got the Jack's Fish Market, and it was freshly made and uniquely good. I can't say I have ever had a sub quite like it. It's going right up there with the Korean cheesesteak from Fred's and Hattie B's hot chicken sandwich as one of my favorite ATL sandwiches. I split it alongside the pasta salad, and that was more than enough food. Bottom line: if you live in ATL and haven't been here yet, shame on you. It's a very casual spot with unique flair, a great owner, and mind-bending food. Can't wait to go back!

From the moment I called in, his customer service was top tier. Professional, warm, and intentional. He made sure my order was right, sent a quick payment link so things moved efficiently, and had everything ready by the time I arrived. That's how you run a business. When I pulled up, he greeted me with a smile, brought my food out, and confidently told me I was going to enjoy it and he was absolutely right. I originally planned to grab my food and go, but his energy made me slow down, sit, pray, and actually enjoy the moment. I asked for a lime Jarritos, and he recommended pineapple instead to pair with the jerk seasoned wild caught salmon sandwich. That recommendation was on point and really elevated the whole experience. That sandwich hits. Every bite pops with flavor across your entire palate. The salmon was perfectly cooked, juicy but not soggy. The kale had the right crunch. The onions tied everything together. And that homemade garlic butter on the salmon took it to another level. It's a creative spin on a traditional cheesesteak. I'm sure the beef options are great too, but if you want seafood, this is the move. I've had a Philly cheesesteak in Philly before, and honestly, I don't need to go back. When I'm in Atlanta, I'm coming here. Sammy, thank you for the hospitality and the intentionality behind what you do. You didn't just serve food, you created an experience. Thank you for praying with me. I will definitely be back.
