    Chicken Cheesesteak and water ice.
    Ahmad W.

This is my second time visiting this business just a different location! I've been to The Chattahoochee location at the works last year for the first time! The Cheesesteak was so delicious that it blew my mind! This time I'm reviewing the location in Kirkwood area on Glenwood in Eastlake right across from the Publix building.Recent grand opening on the Super Bowl day! We have another official Cheesesteak place on the east side! I got a chicken cheesesteak this time and a salmon eggroll and onion rings with a water ice! I ate my eggroll in my car its like Chinese Restaurant style. I also ate the onion rings in my car I didn't have lunch at work today so no pics of those items. I got a water ice with all of the flavors together delicious. You know that the chicken cheesesteak is bussing when it's up there with the ribeye cheesesteak!

Philly G Steaks - SkyView Atlanta is basically a food truck that sits under the SkyView ferris wheel in downtown Atlanta, GA across from Centennial Olympic Park. The staff was really friendly and took my order right away. Everything here is cooked to order so it's very fresh. I asked for extra, extra onions and then when the cook was done, I asked him to please add more onions to what he thought was extra, extra onions. I like onions, what can I say? I also asked for cheese whiz, but this location does not carry cheese whiz, only their main location does, which baffled me a bit. The sandwich was fresh and hot but had minimal onions. The bread was fresh. The American and provolone cheese was either melted into the sandwich or noticeably light. If I wasn't from Philly, I would probably rate Philly G Steaks with 5 stars, but not having cheese whiz and with little to no onions I feel compelled to give 4-stars. If I come back and they have 'whiz' I would probably give them 5 stars next time.

Amazing!!! Tha boss was told by a true Philly, this was the place to go. He was so right!!! The meats were well seasoned, veggies sautéed to perfection and the roll was soft and held it all together. It comes with chips and a drink for a great price. We met the owner's wife. Very courteous, service with a smile and suggested what I should get on my cheesesteak we will definitely be back!!! I ate my other half at home for dinner hint: you gonna need a nap after

We stopped here after seeing all of the 5 star reviews. I gotta say, they deserve every 5 star review. The customer service was top notch, food was great, atmosphere was relaxed. If you get down around Centennial Park, stop by and grab a great sandwich!

Philly G Steak is great find! It's right next to the Atlanta Skyview. There menu isn't large but the two items we tried were great. The cheesesteak was filled with steak, cheese, bell peppers and mushrooms. It was so yummy and the price was pretty reasonable. I believe the cheesesteak is $14 and the chicken Philly is $13. The chicken Philly wasn't as rich in flavor but my husband still enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and they had a nice seating area. We went on a Friday at 6ish and it was empty (I assume this is a rare situation but we lucked out). The food only took ten minutes to come out too. I would definitely recommend!

I ate at the Chattahoochee Works location and loved my Chicken Cheesesteak!! The team was very nice and accommodating. But the food was absolutely AMAZING!! The bread was light and fluffy, unlike that hard French bread at other cheesesteak places. The sandwich was hot and cheesy and I ate every bite. Do not let the photos fool you, the sandwich was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend.

Food was good but a little too pricey. Would be nice to get a comb for $22.00 verse only getting a Philly and fries.

They have quickly become my favorite place to get Mexican food. Let's get into it! Location and Parking They are located on Buford Highway in a small shopping plaza. The lot is medium sized, but they are sharing it with a few other businesses, and depending on the night it could definitely be hard to find a spot so keep that in mind. Venue and Atmosphere The venue is decently sized with both booths and regular tables. There are beautiful paintings hung all over, and the decorations that make you feel like you've stepped into a little part of Mexico. Atmosphere is super casual and comfortable. Food and drinks Now the menu here is massive. Take your time and prepare to be overwhelmed, because everything sounds amazing. Here's a breakdown of what we got each time. 1st visit - El Rey Del Taco Parrillada It's meant to be shared with two people, and comes with a pound of beef ribs, your choice of chicken or al pastor meat, six shrimp wrapped in bacon, with melted cheese and chorizo, plus tortillas and charro beans. It was just as delicious as it sounds. 2nd visit - Tacos The pastor con queso and the shrimp al pastor with cheese, onions, and al pastor sauce. You're welcome. 3rd visit - Fajitas Fajitas Texanas, with steak chicken and shrimp. There are 7 different combinations of sides that you can get. We got white rice, salad, and charro beans. This can also be shared, which my wife and I did. Speaking of the charro beans, they have the best beans I have ever had. For drinks I got the supreme regular mango margarita. My wife got strawberry. Both great. Service Food came out fast, but other than that the service was a little slow. Our waitress was nice, but it did seem that she forgot about us for a little while. The food was so good that I forgave it, plus at the end of the day I got everything I needed. Verdict If you're looking for amazing food and drinks, this is absolutely the place to get it. It just might end up being your favorite too! Until next time!

It was a little pricey at $14 for 3 small-ish tacos, but each taco was packed with meat. I also got a taco de la abuela with pastor meat. For their street tacos, they have normal street tacos for $3.25, or for $0.25 more you can get the same taco with a handmade tortilla (aka taco de la abuela). I didn't try a normal taco, so not sure if there's a notable difference in the tortilla, but I thought the pastor taco was solid as well. I felt like perhaps it was lacking a little in flavor? But I do appreciate the amount of meat that's given. The slices of pineapple are nice as well - very authentic. Throughout my dining experience, most customers were picking up/taking orders to go. The restaurant is kept clean and there's a serve yourself salsa bar. I'm glad that I've found a good taco spot nearby! Parking is a bit limited as the lot is small and is shared with other small restaurants as well.

We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. It was plenty for our party of 4 and they'll give you more chips if you need them for the amount of dip you get, just ask. I got one each of the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.

Halal tacos in a small store in a gas station - how can you get more authentic than that?…read more The meats served here are all halal, which is great! I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
