I honestly would have never found this little gem if I hadn't needed to get gas in the neighborhood. This has obviously changed hands and is now a taqueria. The standalone building is conveniently located near the airport. The restaurant was clean and ample. There is plenty of seating. The food was delicious. The counter service was fast. I definitely recommend.

Skinny's has changed owners. (and it's just as good.) There was a food/taco truck on Virginia Avenue just down from Skinny's and they have taken over ownership. So the big change is Skinny's is now Chilos Taqueria (but the signs haven't changed). The former owners were Korean (and that was featured on the menu). The new owners have kept some of the more popular Korean dishes, wings and burgers. Moreover, they have added numerous Mexican street foods. I had 3 of the tacos plus a horchata. All very good. I recommend it for anyone. Nice presentation with sliced cucumber and radishes.

10/10 I definitely recommend!! My mom and I love carnitas tacos and this place didn't offer them when we first started coming. But the persistence my mom showed always asking Angel (the owner or manager I'm unsure of his title) he put it on the menu! That says a lot right there about the type of place this is! Those pork tacos are soooooo freaking good I could've kissed him right on the forehead lol. Food: 10/10 everything is bomb Service: 10/10 everyone is super sweet Ambience:10/10 very clean establishment

    1/2 Philly and tots!

TL;DR: Great lunch portions for a great price. Surpring menu options! ARRIVAL: It's a small parking lot in front with about 6 spots, so hopefully you get lucky around lunchtime. AMBIANCE: It's a quiet restaurant with a only-diner-in-the-middle-of-nowhere-while-on-a-roadtrip vibes. The atmosphere is a bit empty and cold, but not sterile. You order at the front and they'll call out your name/order when it's ready! There were a few other tables with people dining in pairs or groups. It looks and feels like a place that survives off one-time customers, but I can tell they definitely have small family business vibes and have their regulars. MENU: The lunch menu has great small portion options for about $5! The standard menu is also available with a drink. FOOD: I got the 1/2 philly cheesesteak with tots. The tots aren't seasoned so i dashed some seasoning salt (on the table next to the register), but they were super crispy (just the way I like them). The sandwich was about 3 inches (a half for lunch), but was a bit smaller than i had expected. They don't skimp on the fillings and fill it up the way it would be if it was a full sandwich just cut in half. SERVICE: The staff was very friendly and had conversation with me when I ordered (i think this is standard Southern but I don't usually get it when i'm ordering at the register!). I only saw a team of 2 when I was there. One working the front and maybe something in the kitchen and on dedicated cook. There's a sign that says they're working on getting orders completed quickly to accommodate people on lunch breaks, so that's nice! We opted to dine in when we came, so we weren't in a rush and i didn't pay attention to how long it took, but it wasn't long at all. EXPERIENCE: I'm not super keen on the atmosphere inside as it's just not very welcoming so I may opt for take out the next time I go, but it's close to work and the food and people were nice, so I will definitely be back for lunch! PRICE: Great for a lunch in the area! OVERALL: Really like the lunch portion and prices as I don't always eat lunch early enough and want to be too full! I like that I can eat it all and not have to worry about taking a few bites of leftovers home. A little worried about parking here for lunch, but i can also walk!

Skinny's used to be my favorite restaurant to go to, but since falling under new ownership, I won't be going back. I tried giving them a chance twice, but the food just isn't the same level of quality it was under the previous owners. I used to get the Bibimbap all of the time and it was always extremely tasteful and perfectly cooked, but now it is over seasoned and the rice isn't properly cooked. I will miss the warm and memorable service once provided, but also the extremely delicious food.

    Bibimbap with egg roll

Small hole in the wall restaurant with an interesting menu. They have everything from egg rolls/Bibimbap to hot dogs/hamburgers and Philly cheesesteaks. Neither the exterior or interior are impressive. The parking lot is a nightmare but most customers walk over from Deltas HQ. The staff is friendly and the food was ready rather quickly. I ordered the Bibimbap with an egg roll. The Bibimbap was very good except the egg was overcooked for this type of dish. The best part is breaking the yolk into the fried rice, but it was cooked beyond that. I wish it came with more kimchi as well. My colleague has a cheesesteak and was also impressed. Overall, the menu is a somewhat strange and they offer a little bit of everything. As most people know, this isn't a great area and they don't shy away with their gun hanging above the cashiers head.

Let's just say that we definitely have drove by this place a ton of times and NEVER realized that it was such a gem.. today while driving through I decided to just take a chance on a place that had good reviews from my fellow yelpers and I am glad I did. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and our order was taken.. we got a chopped cheesesteak & fries, a cheeseburger & fries and lemon pepper wings with chicken fried rice.. Less than 10 minutes later our orders were ready and the lovely lady who made them came and brought them to the table. She also cut my daughter's cheeseburger in half for her. That was a definite mom move and I really appreciated her for it... We loved our food and will be back for sure, my chicken fried rice was so fresh and although my wings were not humongous they were delicious, my daughter finished all of her food and my husband's bread was so soft on his cheesesteak it felt like a pillow..on our way out the owner told me bye using my name another personable touch that I honestly think made my day..

This is a joke. These midget wings

Not often do i get caught off guard by "Good" Reviews. Now by all means, this rating currently could change. I'm willing to give it a 2nd (or 3rd chance) because maybe it was just one bad experience. If so, no biggie. Persuaded by the good reviews on Yelp, I definitely wanted to try this place since i frequent this area especially across the street from one of my favorite BBQ spots in all of Atlanta. Had the Korean Tacos, Wings and Fries. I have to admit, it was average at best. And that's saying it nicely. I expected more flavor or something to make it stand out. I am willing to try this again or something with a little twist. Not impressed. The Fries were average at best. Arguably the best item i had and that's not saying much. But the wings. My god, these midget, itzy bitzy tiny wings . Paid $6 plus for some smallest wings ive ever seen and not being cliche about it either. Again, will try this again and Yelp , will try again and hopefully the experience will be better. Grade: C

Awesome lunch joint. For what it is it's perfect. Want bougie, move on. Great comfort food. Good selection of Korean and American!

Yes this is a dive and yes it does have a tv playing Korean Shows (maybe others, but that was what was on at the time). Bim Bim Bop (Chicken) was DELICIOUS and huge portion for $8.50 and they were SO NICE!! Plenty of parking in the front and right off the highway if coming from the airport. This is a local goody so don't be scared and come on it. I can't wait to come back and try other things!

Philly cheesesteak, chili cheese tots, onion rings, bipbimbop, suicide dog, and side of kimchi.

We waited only a few minutes and was able to navigate the small lot to get a spot. There is a designated window for pre-orders and walk-ups have a separate line. It wasn't that long when we were there, but was out the door when we left. Ordering was easy as we got a chance to preview the paper menu, and we were given a card to place on our table once we found it. There was plenty of seating options despite the full lot, but it was nice out so a lot of people were out on the patio with views of the busy intersection. The decor was modern and airy. We checked out the salsa bar while we waited for our appetizer and I found the jalapeno roasted garlic, which was spicy and amazing!! Our appetizer was the con queso and I added chorizo, which I highly recommend. It was plenty for our party of 4 and they'll give you more chips if you need them for the amount of dip you get, just ask. I got one each of the steak, chicken, and carnitas tacos on corn tortillas. The steak was my favorite and I loved that you could taste the smoke in each of the meats with each bite. The grapefruit marg was strong! We were in and out in well under an hour.

You cannot find anything like it in the Boston area. I'm truly sad about it, like it affects my mood. I really miss it. The frozen marg also like omfg. If anyone from the LR team sees this my husband and I are very legitimately wanting to partner on opening a sister restaurant in Boston. It's the only way I can think to fill this gap. I MISS YOU LITTLE REYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. Also ps one time there was a person who seemed potentially homeless who came into the restaurant and was lingering around a bit while we were there. Rather than kicking him out the manager came over, took his order and gave him a free dinner. Quietly, without causing a fuss. In the world we live in today the kindness is refreshing. Love to see it.

Halal tacos in a small store in a gas station - how can you get more authentic than that?…read more The meats served here are all halal, which is great! I got the beef Birria, steak Birria, and barbacoa tacos. The consommé itself was a little watery and tomato-y, but the tacos themselves were of decent quality and flavor. The beef Birria was better IMO than the steak, which was a little chewier. The barbacoa was definitely hands down my favorite - out of them it was the most flavorful and tender. The salsas they gave on the side were good too - spicy, tangy. The seating in the store is very limited (only a few tables, not well spaced out), large groups would be hard to accommodate.

I think I saved this spot due to some friends recommending it. Pretty decent food for a gas station…read morespot. The hubs choose x3 shrimp birria tacos while I had the beef birria quesadilla. I believe the meats here are halal. The crust of both the taco and quesadilla were crispy and had a nice cheese crunch. But trying other birria spots, these were okay. Good but nothing that would wow. The consome dip was actually pretty watered down. I know places make them differently as I've had versions with meat bits in them and another with rice. But their version was just watered down. The shrimp ratio was pretty sad. The beef is actually more bang for your buck. Though I didn't truly count the shrimps, there were about 3 or 4 of those baby shrimps. They didn't look nor tasted like they were doused in flavor. The shrimp was just so so. Sort of bland in taste imo. The beef had a nice kick of flavor. There was a good amount of beef to my surprise. Another friend's beef taco version looked like it was stuffed with meat as well. There was just ample seasoning and flavor with the beef. Psst. If you're thinking x3 tacos vs x1 whole quesadilla, go with the quesadilla. You're sort of getting another piece since the quesadilla is cut into four quadrants versus just 3 tacos. Though it's a different form on presentation, you're going to be getting more for the same exact price.
