The burgers here are tasty. I enjoyed my BGR steak burger with all the fixings. The onion rings were ok. There were some parts of the batter that didn't seemed cooked all the way through but the size was nice. My friend enjoyed their turkey burger and salad. I was unable to snap a picture before they took a few bites since I stepped away to get our additional items. The fries were enjoyed too. The service was decent. The Good: I ordered the Texas Roadhouse Burger and it was PHENOMINAL. The frites were cooked and seasoned perfectly. The steak burger was grilled to perfection with the toasted bun. The homemade ketchup had a nice kick to it. The spicy Mayonaise was an amazing addition to the hand battered golden crispy onion rings. And, the Lemonade was awesome. Overall, the food gets a 10/10. The Bad: The establishment seems understaffed. The order taker was also the short line cook and the waiter. The person I was with went inside to get our food and bought it out..... We ordered some food to go as well and it seemed to get loss in the non structured set-up. He advised us that our food would be waiting when we were ready to go. After waiting for him to signal for us to pick it up we went back to the counter to learn that it wasn't cooked or prepped at all. Thus causing us to have to wait another 15 minutes for a salad and a rice bowl. To make it worse they both were just thrown together with no care at all. Overall, the service gets a 3/10. The Moral: Amazing Food. Poor Service. Lack of Structure. I would suggest going early when it's not busy as your order can get the attention it deserves. They said the manager wasn't in but they'd let him know. The following week I called and got the same story. I waited a couple days and called again. Still no refund today so I unfortunately filed a dispute with my card. Unfortunately they have lost a customer now. I'm Just not willing to be treated this way. This is one of those places you almost pass by but do yourself a favor and stop. It is a small location and parking can be difficult. They have only a few tables inside with a few patio tables out on the sidewalk. You order at the counter and your food is prepared fresh and to your order. This place stays busy most days so since the food is prepared fresh be prepared to wait during the lunch rush, but once you taste your burger the wait will be worth it. I ordered the SicyJamacian Jerk Burger which is a full half pound of meat. WOW does not begin to describe this burger, it ranks up in the top percent of burgers I have had anywhere. It was served with a side of fries that I ordered seasoned with Cajun seasoning. The fries were also cooked to absolute perfection. My advice: come hungry. The burger is going to fill you up with its huge size alone and you don't want to miss the fries. Service is helpful and friendly making sure they get your order to your likes. I'm giving BGR 5 stars. It takes a minute but it's because everything is freshly prepared. Living in East Point BGR is now my staple. I love the locally run vibe and the customization that comes when you order your burger. My go to is the turkey burger, if you're not always into beef trust me the turkey burger is bomb. I love that BGR has this option and also offers patrons a black bean burger. Their fries are great and they have several options. I enjoy the garlic park fries but have now switched to Cajun. When you order your burger, the chef will call you back up to select your toppings. They have a really great smokey type mayo that I really enjoy.
