Ha ha! I pulled up on this place on a Wednesday afternoon. I've been meaning to check this place out and they did not disappoint. I'm from Jersey and Philly is 10 minutes from where I grew up so I've had lots of cheesesteaks from all over Philly. I had a chicken cheese with xtra mayo and it was on point. The woman who made the sandwiches was very meticulous with preparing each customers order. The ambiance was great. They were playing 90's RNB which was taking me back in the day The service was okay. The girl who took my order was talking so fast I had to tell her to slow down a bit. Also, I think the few Philly pics they have on the walls need to be blown up. And they need more. A few huge posters of Dr. J, Dawn Staley and AI would it off right. Bon appétit

Customer service here is great. I got treated by the owners and Manager of the location and chit chatted about some of the different Cheesesteak options in Atlanta. 10/10, these guys are great. The location sits next to a Kroger and is right next door to an American Deli. They have self serve kiosk to place orders. Kiosk gives you the option for American and Provolone. Would be nice if you can choose both and if they can also add wiz to the options. Personally like to get both American and Wiz. Lots of reasonably priced add on options. That's nice to see. For my order I got the Cheesesteak Eggroll and the 10" Cheesesteak. I really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the Eggroll with their Jamaican Jerk sauce. The combination worked well and left me wanting more. The cheesesteak was decently sized. Halfway through I was pretty full. It was loaded with meat as you can see. The meat was flavorful, but could have used more seasoning. Perhaps adding a topping option on the menu for extra seasoning in the kiosk would work. The American cheese was nice and melted throughout and kept most of it in the bun. Both items were exceptional. The location is small with light seating. I ended up grabbing mine to go though, so I didn't sit around. I can say this spot reached the top three spots for my taste and price. Good luck!

Found this place through a Kevonstage post. This is a cheesesteak only review because let's be real, this is Atlanta. So I'm not judging for service. 10/10!!!! I ordered the honey garlic beef cheesesteak and my girl got the jerk chicken cheesesteak. I just knew the honey garlic was gonna be my favorite but that jerk jawn went crazy too!!! Of course she didn't want to wait to eat, so we dined at the restaurant. We went at 8 PM so there was enough seating for a quick bite. Simple, straightforward vibe convenient to the city.

Food is very good, Philly has so much Flavor, period. This is located off Moreland(Sketchy area) The wait time is 30 minutes or was that for me. Had 2 Phillies, Fries, Wings... Just be prepared to wait and it seems there are only 3 people working so patience is key. The Philly is worth the drive.

So there was an advertisement on TikTok offering a special to check out this place. I am always willing to support a new business, so I made the hike to go patronize this place. Due to the advertisement, the place was packed, especially since the deal ended at about 3:00pm. You can order your food on a machine or talk to a person if you don't really know what you want. Since it was my first time there, I had questions. I went with the beef cheesesteak, and I got the girlfriend the chicken cheesesteak. Once I got home and tried them out, I would say they are not bad, but I've had better. The beef and the chicken were both seasoned well, but I didn't get that cheesesteak hit I'm accustomed to. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. Would order there again... the jury is still out on that.

Located @ 1162 Moreland Ave SE Atlanta, Georgia Health Score 82 = B on 4/3/2025 Very busy restaurant with customers steadily coming and going, picking up or placing orders. I waited for ten minutes just to place my order and over 20 minutes to receive it. So be patient. I ordered the beef cheesesteak combo which comes with 11" cheesesteak, fries and a drink. Overall, I was satisfied with my beef Philly cheesesteak and I was definitely satisfied with the combo price for $17.99. This is a great deal. The ambience was slow and busy with music pumping through the speakers. It was the combo value for me.

I had been seeing this place all over Instagram and decided to give it a try. Upon entering the business, it was packed and I took that as a good sign. I waited a few minutes before being acknowledged, but again it was busy and only 3 employees were working. The issue is there was only 1 cook and 2 other employees. I only waited 10-15 minutes to get my food, but 2 people in front of me were waiting almost 30 Minutes and ordered before me. My food was good though even though my fries could have been cooked longer. Overall decent experience, not too pricy but customer services needs some work

Me and boyfriend live to eat and we out here in ATL findings all the spots. He recommended Uncle Phills. Food 10/10!!! We had the jerk chicken Philly and the honey garlic beef Philly. Oh lawddddd the food was amazing!!!! Service was okay. The bathrooms were "closed" around 8pm. I had to walk to Kroger to go to the bathroom. Not really an ambiance. As you can see in my photo they closed down where you can sit. Highly recommend. Just make sure you taking out. The wait time for the food wasn't terrible. It wasn't too busy today. Food was hot and fresh!

I was craving a cheesesteak and saw this place on TikTok and they popped up on DoorDash. I ordered the 8inch cheesesteak with extra cheese and added mushrooms. Also got a side of fries. The fries were okay, just fries, nothing spectacular. The cheesesteak however was very flavorful and delicious. The bread was very soft and warm as well which added a great texture to every bite. Will definitely order from here again!

So I visited the new location on Moreland Ave; Congrats on the accomplishment also they have the best chicken cheese steaks in Atlanta GA hands down! I don't eat beef like that anymore. I got the 6 inch lemon pepper cheese steak and the 6 inch garlic honey combo! The flavors and the taste is delicious no one is coming close with chicken cheese steaks period. I went to a place previously that I thought had one of the best cheese steaks in the area also. After I ate the chicken cheese steak sandwich I was disappointed. I ate it because I purchased it. It didn't have the flavors and taste that these chicken cheese steaks have honestly I never returned to that place. Pull up and support the bro!

I saw Uncle Phil's Cheesesteaks on social media thanks to a couple of foodies I follow, and since I was in the mood for a good cheesesteak, I decided to give them a shot. I ordered through DoorDash and went with the 11.5" classic cheesesteak, which comes with cheese and onions. I added mushrooms because, why not? When I saw the menu photo, I assumed the sandwich came with fries, but it turns out they're sold separately. Not a big deal, but it might help to update the photo so it's clearer. The sandwich itself was huge, which I appreciated, but I didn't see any onions on it, which was a letdown. The real issue, though, was the flavor--it was super salty and way too heavy on the Worcestershire sauce. It overpowered everything and made it hard to enjoy. Honestly, with a little less sauce, more cheese, and some actual onions, this could've been a solid cheesesteak. For now, it just missed the mark for me.

8" chicken Philly w/pickles, mushrooms lettuce and roasted garlic mayo.

Worth the price! Worth the drive! This food is so good! The service was A1! The food was top tier! Tay was so helpful with us ordering! She was great...keep her! Aj makes the best chicken philly. THE BREAD! So soft and chewy...so good and the roasted garlic mayo was the perfect compliment. This ish was so good! I'm not big on saucy wings, but these wings were so good. The mango and passion fruit lemonades had the perfect balance...not too sweet, just right! And let's not forget about the watermelon and mango water ice! Perfect for the summer. Im really hard to please, but this E Atl restaurant has made me a new customer when I come back to visit! So good! Go now!

The food here is spectacular. I was used to going to American deli, which is next-door to them BUT American deli doesn't have anything on this place. UNCLE PHILLS IS Hot and fresh always. I can't believe I found my new favorite spot. Follow my TikTok for the full review @naturally_queen

It's a part of a short strip of restaurants and it was an interesting walk into the ice cream shop to say the least. I mean there were young people outside screaming about shooting someone with their own gun.... hmm. Most of the restaurants (but not sweet stack) had an officer on duty which says a whole lot. The ambience once we entered was also pretty rough. Very sticky with a film over everything. This place needs a good cleaning. Customer service was virtually nonexistent even before we arrived; I had called beforehand to make sure they didn't mysteriously close early as many ATL spots tend to do, and the woman on the line sounded absolutely miserable that I even asked. That energy was felt firsthand inside. But I'll give them a fair rating because their brownie sundae was good, and my husband enjoyed what he got as well. Good portions for the price. Extra points for being open kinda late. It just wasn't memorable because the environment was quite depressing. Last resort, not my first option.
