Ha ha! I pulled up on this place on a Wednesday afternoon. I've been meaning to check this place out and they did not disappoint. I'm from Jersey and Philly is 10 minutes from where I grew up so I've had lots of cheesesteaks from all over Philly. I had a chicken cheese with xtra mayo and it was on point. The woman who made the sandwiches was very meticulous with preparing each customers order. The ambiance was great. They were playing 90's RNB which was taking me back in the day The service was okay. Customer service here is great. I got treated by the owners and Manager of the location and chit chatted about some of the different Cheesesteak options in Atlanta. 10/10, these guys are great. The location sits next to a Kroger and is right next door to an American Deli. They have self serve kiosk to place orders. Kiosk gives you the option for American and Provolone. Would be nice if you can choose both and if they can also add wiz to the options. Personally like to get both American and Wiz. Lots of reasonably priced add on options. That's nice to see. For my order I got the Cheesesteak Eggroll and the 10" Cheesesteak. I really enjoyed the flavor and texture of the Eggroll with their Jamaican Jerk sauce. The combination worked well and left me wanting more. The cheesesteak was decently sized. Halfway through I was pretty full. It was loaded with meat as you can see. The meat was flavorful, but could have used more seasoning. Perhaps adding a topping option on the menu for extra seasoning in the kiosk would work. The American cheese was nice and melted throughout and kept most of it in the bun. Both items were exceptional. The location is small with light seating. So there was an advertisement on TikTok offering a special to check out this place. I am always willing to support a new business, so I made the hike to go patronize this place. Due to the advertisement, the place was packed, especially since the deal ended at about 3:00pm. You can order your food on a machine or talk to a person if you don't really know what you want. Since it was my first time there, I had questions. I went with the beef cheesesteak, and I got the girlfriend the chicken cheesesteak. Once I got home and tried them out, I would say they are not bad, but I've had better. The beef and the chicken were both seasoned well, but I didn't get that cheesesteak hit I'm accustomed to. I had been seeing this place all over Instagram and decided to give it a try. Upon entering the business, it was packed and I took that as a good sign. I waited a few minutes before being acknowledged, but again it was busy and only 3 employees were working. The issue is there was only 1 cook and 2 other employees. I only waited 10-15 minutes to get my food, but 2 people in front of me were waiting almost 30 Minutes and ordered before me. I placed my order online to be picked up the only thing I'd have to complain about was the lemonade was warm other than that ice fixed it and the sandwiches was bussssin. 3-stars. At the time when I went, Phill's was a little rough around the edges. I waited a little longer for my food than I prefer especially after having put in an advanced order. Justifiably, you feel a certain kind of way about your food when you wait too long for it. But then my order was prepared incorrectly (was supposed to be without mayo and mushrooms) and like most of us, I didn't learn that until I got home. So I had to deal with that as well. However, I plan to go back again with hopes for a more efficient and thorough experience. The positive reason for the 3-stars is because the incorrectly made sammich they gave me was exactly what I needed. Somebody in the kitchen said "this guy needs mushrooms and mayo in his life". The bread was legit. The temp. was hot. The warm gooey mixture of the steak and cheese is something that Cardi B should rap about. With regards to the sandwich, it could easily stand 10 toes down in Philadelphia. I don't think many guests eat-in at Phill's so the ambiance, decor, and scenery aren't a concern to most. It seemed like for each Philly, the bread was made from scratch and a cow is slaughtered to complete a customers order. I ordered at the kiosk inside at 5:34pm on Saturday with about 15 other customers who already placed there orders with a look of frustration due to their wait time. I proceeded to place my order and wait. During that time an elderly women became upset with the price of her Philly and what she received and asked for a refund, the refund was issued but she was told it would take 5 business days for her to receive the refund. Finally, at 6:19pm I received my order only to get home for a lackluster taste. It would be fine if it did not take almost an hour to get my order but I'm sorry. There is no way that this ticket time is acceptable and this should not be normalize because I've worked in restaurants, front and back of the house, and would not expect my customers to wait that long for something that takes a few minutes to fully cook on a flat top grill. So if you are comfortable waiting a long time just for a simply Philly it's a spot for you. If not, try another place. read more

Any business being 1 hour and 10 mins behind on orders is just not it for me with the many selections around a metro area. A call or orders ahead option would still have customers waiting. I showed coworkers the tik tok videos of people who had been and convinced them to go based off of my experience and how good the subs looked in the video. I will say that in Atlanta, this is the closest to a Philly cheesesteak. I have to order without salt. I've been here four times. Two of the four times their jawns were salt bombs. Today, my fourth visit, I brought my Moms because she recently moved here and craved a cheesesteak. I order, noting no salt, just black pepper, mayo, fried onions. Cashier says, "we don't have salt by itself, we have a "seasoning blend." I said that is where Dave's messed up too. Why? Because customers have eating restrictions and/or don't like certain things. Me, I am not a person who uses a lot of salt. We get home first bite so salty that it burned a bit. BUYER BEWARE! Owner Donald Ralls and manager Osaze Proctor are crooks. I've allowed them more than enough time to correct the experience and they refuse to do so. I've been patient, polite, and cooperative but none of that matters when businesses like this are only about making a dollar and not about doing the right thing. I visited on 11-16 placed a computer order for a sandwich. Got home it was wrong. I called repeatedly and I sent an email. I got an email reply back saying that my sandwich should have had standard ingredients(meat, cheese, onions) and any other ingredients I added. He apologized, asked for the receipt(for training), photos, and said would be happy to remake next visit. I happily emailed bag receipt and photo of food as I still had it because it wasn't what I ordered. I asked what info did I need to provide for my next visit got no reply for days. I followed up and was advised that the receipt did not list onions so the cook followed the receipt and that their process is unclear, however I should have selected onions and they will no longer replace the order. So they blatantly lied that the receipt was for training and instead it was really an excuse to blame the customer. All images are included of their menu listed in the restaurant, the emails showing the conflicting statements, and the topping selections which DO NOT include onions. When I went back to take photos I directly asked a worker about the menu her response was that they are all over the place and do what they want some cooks make it like it states on the menu others only do whats on print out. She said onions are listed as an ADDITIONAL AD ON not as a regular topping which makes no sense! So by everyone's own admission this establishment purposely false advertises, know the menu is unclear but DO NOT assist customers in the ordering process, and takes people's money and not give them correct orders. These owners are complicit in breaking the law, hiring employees that cannot or do not read, and taking customer's money and not providing them the products they are paying for. I'd say go at your own risk and if they mess up your order be prepared to be mistreated. This is the only food place I've been to in that shopping center and its disappointing to see how evil they are treating customers yet at the same time places like this who mainly serve a certain shade of clientele feels we deserve that treatment.
