    Salmon Egg-rolls
    Tricia L.

I had never heard of this place before today... found this place while looking for a Publix for sandwiches, saw them and immediately decided to try them instead. Best decision of the weekend... Staff was super friendly and hospitable, food was fresh and tasty and the vibe was chill and comfortable. I highly recommend the salmon egg rolls which I ordered with a little fear that it might be a bad choice but nope! These are so amazingly tasty I'm contemplating stopping back for another order to take home later today!

First time here! Food was delicious 10/10, service from bartender 5/10. When coming in, maybe 6/7 ppl sitting outside on the stools, 4 ppl on the inside bar. When we sat down she acknowledged us, asked if we were getting food too, and we said yes. We sat and waited for about 8 more minutes. We were thinking it wasn't a good day. Then Zeniah came to our rescue from behind the food line, and asked if we wanted to place an order. Which we did with her, asked if we could order beer with her, and sadly not. We then sat back at the bar for like, another 6-7 min still without the bartender asking what beer we wanted...After that time, we decided best to get our food to go, it wasn't in the stars today. But again, the food was 10/10, great flavor, glad we stopped to experience it!

Let me get it straight- Food - incredible, for a guy like me, add TVs, a few brews and or a shot and I'm good. My wife knows this... The music --really dope 90s vibe which is low key one of the sleeper qualities of this spot... In the cut (FWIW) Quality service - can't be said enough nor discounted. Love this spot and love that I live close by...and wifey loves the food too...which helps:)

Nasty, breaded peach cobbler. Taste more like bread pudding.

So I was craving something sweet. I came in wanting a milk shake..but can't bare to pay $14. So I decided on peach cobbler. Just plain awful, like I really want to climb out of bed, get dressed, risk the cold air hitting me and go get a refund. This is so nasty. Now I am a baker so I am just used to nutmeg, butter and sugar ...this definitely taste worse than frozen Marie Callender. I usually visit for the salmon Philly. Venture out and got the egg rolls tonight. I won't try that again.

Philly G Steaks has been under construction for a while, and finally opened up recently. It's a really nice spot with tons of indoor and outdoor seating. Their staff were pretty friendly and welcoming. No complaints there. I got a standard beef cheesesteak, and I have to say, it was quite good. My only complaint is that the peppers and onions were a bit undercooked. They probably are just trying to get the food out fast, but I would have waited for the veggies to be a bit more cooked.

Chili cheese dog; traditional cheesesteak and a Stella!

We drove by this spot several times while shopping at Publix and always wanted to try. It looked packed and didn't want to stand in line. Well, today we did and the "packed" that I saw was in fact true, and the flow of getting our order and receiving our order was fast! The food was sooo good! The atmosphere is a nice vibe, good music and very appropriate for the venue. We will most def be back!

NOTHING LIKE THIS WAS FEATURED ON CHANNEL 5! There's NOTHING exciting about this! Don't waste your time!
    Tiffany M.

On 3/24/25 I saw this company on channel 5 advertising their burgers and Philly Cheese Steaks. They looked delicious ON TV! The sandwiches ran over with deliciousness, the Philly cheesesteak was full of meat, onions, peppers & cheese! That was NOT what we experienced. The restaurant was NOT packed, however people were waiting for over an hour and since we drove from McDonough to Glenwood Ave JUST to patronize this restaurant I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! The wait time was ridiculous, the sandwiches were ok at best, salty, minimally filled with much at all. I complained to the "manager" Randy & he OFFERED to refund my money digitally and all he needed was my receipt #, just give him a few minutes while he gets the line down some. I provided that and for days...I waited and waited and waited... Today is 4/26 and to date he never refunded my money! Yes I called & spoke to Randy and still nothing...

Wow! I had such a great experience at Philly G Steaks. The food was flavorful and the staff was friendly, the cook even had a small conversation with us. Our bartender, Bryan made a reposado margarita and it was so fresh. They were so accommodating to us and our 6 month old baby. Our food was hot and delicious! We will be back!

There was a long ass hair in the cheesesteak. They didn't give us our cheesecake after we ordered it. The salmon was very fishy.. I didn't like it.

This isn't just a gimmick, though; the execution is legit. You can order a single or a double, and each patty is smashed fresh to order, delivering those lacy, ultra-crispy edges that define a elite smashburger. It's cradled in a potato bun that gets toasted to a perfect light crisp. They even offer generous toppings at no extra charge. Do not skip the sides or the extras here. The fry seasoning is incredible, packed with savory flavor that makes them impossible to stop eating, and their onion rings are a solid choice too. But the real secret weapon is the Sassy Sauce (or "smash sauce"). Do yourself a favor and get a cup on the side for dipping. it's that good. While it's tucked inside a convenience store, there's actually dedicated patio seating set up right behind the gas station if you want to sit outside and eat fresh off the grill. I'd take this over Mister Burger. NFA has that classic ketchup, mustard, and mayo flavor with its signature sauce, while Mister Burger is tasty but leans away from that traditional burger profile. I'm not ready to call it the best burger in Atlanta just yet. Fred's Meat & Bread at Krog Street Market is still my favorite, but Holeman & Finch is next on my list, so stay tuned. My only downside is the Dunwoody location, but honestly it wasn't bad. I made the trip from Buckhead and back in under 30 minutes. There were only two people ahead of me, and I had my food in about five minutes. I've heard the waits can get much longer during busy times, so just keep that in mind.

I loved the caramelized jalepeno slices since they added it beautiful hint of spicy sweetness to the dish. The bread has a nice chew and it does not get soggy fast. - CONS: Not that special. I dont know why it's "korean" since it tasted like a normal cheesesteak but with a few jalapenos. I also wish they added in more jalapenos (I got like 3). 2) Garlic Fries with Ranch: - PROS: Very nice texture with a crispy outside and fluffy inside that is not too dense. The flavor comes from the garlic mince that is on top. The ranch is like a mixture of an aioli and tartar sauce (I think they make it in house, correct me if I'm wrong). - CONS: Inconsistent texture as some of the fries were dense but a few had that good hollow crisp bite. Quite oily too. Overall, I enjoyed the cheesesteak but would probably skip the fries next time. I do believe it is good especially the bread. I don't think it is worth all the hype it gets, but it is good.

Holeman and Finch is known for its burger, and deservedly so, but I can't stress enough how good the other food and drink are here. Looking at the current list of Atlanta restaurants in the Michelin Guide, I think Holeman and Finch deserves to be included. I wonder why they got snubbed. Holeman and Finch relocated to Colony Square in Midtown in February 2023. The restaurant validates parking in the Colony Square garage for two hours. We stayed just over two hours and ended up paying $6. I like to enter and exit the garage via Peachtree St NE. There's also an entrance/exit on 14th St NE, next to The Starling hotel. We used to go to the original location in Brookwood/South Buckhead circa 2010 when only 24 burgers were made per night and released at 10pm. Holeman and Finch existed in that location from 2008 to 2020. It was quite the Yelp hot spot: https://www.yelp.com/biz/holeman-and-finch-atlanta-2 This new location at Colony Square is way more spacious and looks great. There's indoor and outdoor (covered and uncovered) seating. The atmosphere is that of a modern, upscale pub. It's nice. Reservations can be booked on OpenTable, so get those dining points. Here's what my wife and I had: Drinks: * H&F Bloody Mary ($14) * Iced Tea - half sweet, half unsweet ($5) Graze: * Naturally Served Oysters ($5 each) - cocktail sauce, mignonette, buttered saltines, horseradish - Lowcountry Cups - Charleston, SC - Dukes of Topsail - Topsail Sound, NC - Dixon Point - New Brunswick, Canada * Deviled Egg Trio ($9) - classic, country ham, and Pickapeppa mayo * Hand Chopped Sirloin Steak Tartare ($20) - capers, horseradish, egg yolk, chips * Simple Lettuces ($15) - citrus vinaigrette, crisp shallots, fromage blanc, pecans Sandwiches: * H+F Cheeseburger ($28) - certified Angus and Hereford beef, onions, Kraft, fries Plates: * Housemade Scottish Gravlax ($18) - toasted brioche, fried Pantelleria capers, lemon dill clabber * Holeman + Finch Vegetable Plate ($32) - "all that is best from our Southern farms" Dessert: * Sticky Toffee Pudding ($14) - vanilla ice cream Everything, down to the sweet tea, was fantastic. The Bloody Mary was strong and so delicious that I gulped it down. All of the dishes were beautifully plated and finished. The oysters were fresh, superb quality, and cleanly shucked. They forgot the crackers, but that's okay. I highly recommend the deviled eggs. They were perhaps the best we've ever had anywhere. If you're unfamiliar with Pickapeppa, it's a sweet and savory Jamaican brown sauce that is used to make the mayo for this dish. There was nothing "simple" about the Simple Lettuces salad. It was pretty much a perfect, tasty, and refreshing salad. As for the H+F Cheeseburger, it's a classic and continues to be one of the best burgers around. Every bite is just so good, and the ketchup and mustard remain distinct. If you've never had the burger before, get it here or at H&F Burger at Ponce City Market. The Truist Park version isn't the same and I've never tried the Mercedes-Benz Stadium version (the old Turner Field version was legit, though). If you like gravlax, wow - the gravlax here is amazing and really well made. The Vegetable Plate was terrific as well. It featured potatoes, okra, beans, succotash, mushrooms, onions, peppers, tomatoes, and more with a fried onion ring on top. It's a great dish to share. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was top-notch - exceptional texture and flavor, and perfectly paired with a scoop of dense vanilla ice cream. Our server was Jonathan R.
