We got combos for each which add the new "Crib Fries" I love it when places actually cook their fries to crispy. AAAHHHHHH-Mazing!!!! I got the 9in classic. Worth every penny. But I need to rave about the best Onion Rings I've had in like forever! A REAL onion slice! Seasoned, crispy on the outside & tender on the inside. I don't know how they did it, but the onion never slid out of the crust. That was my favorite part. So every bite was crispy perfection. Cheesesteak here was amazing. It was cheesy and not dry at all. I got the Truffle Cheesesteak and curb chips. Which are their own chips fried and seasoned with Dave's seasoning. Everything came out so hot and fresh. Everything was explained well cause we didn't know what the curb chips were. This has easily became one of my favorite places to come to on the south side. The service is impeccable each time and the food is GREAT each time! LeLe the manager on duty went above and beyond to make sure me and my family was taken care of in a timely manner and she brought the good energy! I used to frequent the original location in the gas station a few years back. I was excited that there is a location close to my rental property. For one, I was pretty salty when I realized they changed the menu and don't serve wings anymore ( The Mardi Gras wings were the best I ever had!) and the cheesesteak was just mid. For years, I have enjoyed Big Dave's signature cheesesteak and recently tried his beef egg rolls. They were delicious and wanted to give this location a try. Please be aware this location HAS LIMITED parking. The lot is extremely small and it doesn't take long for it to fill up. I parked in the business adjacent to the restaurant. I would also order my food in advance using the app or online ordering option. Failure to doing so, can cause your wait time to be longer than expected. This spot like many of the other locations is a take out joint. The added exception is the outside patio that gives customers the option to eat their food outside. This comes in handy on a day when the weather is nice. The quality of the food was great and their salmon egg rolls are amazing. I like that the app gives me an option of what time to pick up my food. That way there's an unlikely chance your food will be cold. One last thing please check your order when they give it to you. My order was missing my bottled water that I paid for & I had to go back and get it. Staff was helpful but I had to make sure I double checked my order. My tip is to either order in advance so that your wait time is short. I deducted a star because of the limited parking situation. read more
