I went to this burger location with a group of volunteers during lunchtime on a recent Sunday. There was a lot of variety in the food items offered and the prices were reasonable for the quantity received. The restaurant wasn't very busy when we got there, but the main chokepoint was in ordering (there was only one cashier handling orders and announcing all ready orders). It took about 10 minutes for our whole party to receive their selected food and beverage items. We will be back due to the variety, value and size of the meals. read more

Most of their items are cooked fresh enough where they taste decent, BUT for the love of your digestion system DO NOT order the burgers. For some reason the burgers here are cold and nasty. The meat is thin and barely warm, so add condiments and veggies, and you have cancelled out the lukewarm meat. You might say, "Ha! We were wanting a milkshake and I've not eaten at a Cook Out before. Ordered a milkshake, 2 chili cheese hotdogs and a corn dog. Hotdogs were ok but they put that nasty nacho cheese sauce on them. The corn dog was nothing more than a corn dog. The fries were pretty good. The milkshake was great! The ONLY reason for one star. It took 35 minutes to get our food and they had the nerve to go back and say the hangup was bc we didn't pay for the chili and cheese on the second dog. The SERVICE SUCKED to say the least. The ladies room was in need of work as well. The sink stopped up from just washing my hands. Albeit Jonesboro Rd means not to expect much, this was absolutely not worth it. If I could give these place zero stars, I would. My family and I had stopped by for a quick dinner. The cashier that took our order, Tashea, was very rude to us. This location started out really well. Lines were out to the street for good reason. Good food and good and fast service. Then I guess they became too popular too fast because everything started to deteriorate. Food that was once absolutely delicious is now mediocre. Today I got a burger that was seriously undercooked and coleslaw that had no mayo in it. They had dumped it straight out of the bag into the cup. On the last three visits after going through the drive-thru I got home only to discover that at least some aspect of each order had been filled incorrectly. Service is very slow, and staff is below average. Most times when they hand you your drink through the window the drink itself is splashed all over the cup. They don't even take the time to wipe it off. Once the lady at the window wiped it with her bare unwashed hand that had been handling money after my asking her to clean the cup before handing it over so that the drink wouldn't spill over the interior of my vehicle. IMO, they're now the new McDonald's, and I don't mean that as a compliment. Made up my mind that today is going to be my last visit. Unbelievable that they could go from an initial five stars in my estimation to two so fast. I had high hopes for this place. Now they're nothing but a disappointment. read more
