3 stars for the food and cleanliness of the establishment 1…read morestar for the haphazard customer service I've been in GA 5 years and this Mexican place was SEASONED AND REALLY DAM. GOOD. Like you could smell good food cooking. I've tried Pollo Asados at a few places and they just didn't have the grilled chicken flavor, and they didn't have onions or jalapeños, all fails. El Arroyo was authentic, the grilled chicken was giving exactly that grilled TODAY. Seasoned, grilled and appropriately charred, onions and jalapeños tender. Oh AND FRESH. The beef tacos were very seasoned and NOT DRY. OH, almost forgot the 2nd best part... their beans and rice is made with vegetable oil not lard, I didn't try the beans cause I didn't want to risk it but I did taste a spoon on rice and it was seasoned and flavorful too. My sister who doesn't eat pork either did have the beans and she hasn't said anything about feeling any kind of way but she did say they were good. 1 star I understand you want to make sure I know what I'm ordering, trust me I do. It becomes combative after awhile. I've been eating authentic Mexican food all my life. With that... I can't wait to try more items from the menu.

It was busy during the early afternoon with many call in orders and locals stopping in for lunch. I recommend calling your order in, unless your dining there. I just ordered a chicken sope, which did not disappoint. It was hot, fresh and a nice portion for $4. Chicken was seasoned well and was layered with lettuce, sour cream, cheese, tomatoes, and pinto beans! Honestly I could've eaten 2! They do lots of affordable family size meals with whole chickens that seems really popular as well. That's next on my list of things to try out!

This is definitely a best-kept secret!…read more After an unfortunate incident earlier in the day, I needed something to calm me down and cheer me up. I don't smoke weed, so... here we are. Tacos are ALWAYS a good idea! So, using my handy-dandy Yelp app I found Huarache. Yay! Based on experience, I just knew it was about to go down. The menu is in Spanish, and so was the conversation going on around me. Its in a dingy looking strip mall. Long story short, these tacos were soooo good! I got 2 asada, one carnitas and one chicken taco. I would have taken a picture but I scarfed them down in the most unladylike way possible. They were that good lol. I can't complete a meal like this without a cup of horchata, which was perfectly sweet and creamy! The condiments are located at a little salad bar, where they also provide little to-go ramekins. Very satisfying. Do yourself a favor and try them out!

This place give hole in the wall vibes but my oh my it's definitely a must try! Had two tacos (was…read moreso hungry I ate them before my review ) one of my tacos which are on two corn tortillas was barbacoa which was full of flavor and lots of meat and one chicken.. both I opted to have cilantro and onion... both delicious. I had a milanesa torta which you have a choice of breaded chicken or steak I had breaded steak and my boyfriend had classic steak asada. One of the tortas had a side of fries. They sell jaritos or aguas frescas (homemade flavored water) I had mango which was so fresh and yummy. I will absolutely be back. Great service and a he entire time we were there for over an hour and a half the staff cleaned the entire time. They have a full fresh salsa bar which also has two sides with fresh ingredients to add to your food. The salsa bar is one beautiful touch. I'll definitely be back (possible tomorrow ) so expect an updated photo dump but for now this is what I have for you.
