For entrees, we had the mushroom ravioli and the blackened salmon. The blackened salmon was one of the best salmon dishes I've ever had. I loved the crispy skin. The ravioli had great flavor also. The only disappointing part was the tiramisu. It was dry and I couldn't even finish it. Service was excellent, and the ambiance is really nice. We will be back.

Unfortunately, it will probably be our last visit. We arrived on time but our table wasn't ready, so we grabbed drinks at the bar. Prior to our reservation, my husband had coordinated with the restaurant to surprise me with a prosecco toast for the occasion. They had even confirmed the details with him beforehand. But when we arrived... nothing. No acknowledgment at reception, and our server even asked if we were celebrating anything special. After we'd already ordered drinks and appetizers, my husband had to step away and track down a manager himself. They eventually brought the toast and comped it, but by then the moment had passed. What was supposed to be intentional time together started with frustration instead. As for the food: * The special octopus ceviche had me so excited because octopus and ceviche are two of my favorite things. Sadly, it missed the mark. The octopus was oddly warm in an otherwise cold dish, the coconut milk sauce fell flat, and the rice crisps served alongside it were so stale we couldn't even bite into them. * ostrich sliders are always a good choice, although a bit more well done than we'd have preferred * truffle mushroom ravioli was outstanding * I ordered the salmon and substituted the potatoes for broccolini. The entire dish was dry as a bone. The salmon was overcooked, the broccolini was overly charred, and the kale was practically burnt to a crisp. I do have a dairy allergy, but I was surprised the kitchen didn't attempt to add any olive oil, lemon juice, sauce, or anything else to bring moisture and balance to the plate. The spicy margaritas were great... as long as we got the bartender with the curly hair. One round was excellent; another was genuinely awful. The gin and tonics were consistently good. Yebo still has a beautiful atmosphere and holds a lot of sentimental value for us. I just wish the execution had matched the occasion.

I've eaten here twice now and three stars because it was downhill from my first experience!…read moreThe first time I ate at The Cape Restaurant was December for a work dinner. The ambience was so nice and the food was fantastic! My group got a few appetizers to try- all were tasty and so were the drinks. I noticed it was a different menu than the most recent time I went. The first time, I got the braised short rib and was very pleasantly surprised with the portion, flavor, and tenderness of the meat! Our server was great as well and helped us enjoy a fantastic evening. This past Sunday I went again with a small group of people around 4. There was only one other group eating in the restaurant at the time but they left shortly after we got there, leaving us the only ones in the space. Our server may have been new and not well trained- he didn't write down our three orders, which could have been fine but he had to come back and ask us what we ordered before he put it in. We got the smash burger, fish sandwich and chicken piccata. The burger looked nice, two patties and plenty of toppings, but my fish sandwich was absolutely lacking. At first, it looked great, but the more I ate the more I realized there was hardly any fish in there. To me, the fish seemed about 1 cm thick with a huge coating of breading sandwiched between a bun on either side... the coleslaw needed to be sharper, and the tartar sauce added to the heaviness of the meal, not the elevation of it. I felt I needed another meal after I finished. The chicken piccata was decent but was heavy on the lemon, to the point it wasn't enjoyable to finish. I probably won't be back because of the disappointing meal I had.

I basically just order a full side and spinach and feta pie. As a pescatarian my options were limited so the only other thing available was a curry veggie pie and fries( I think). Either way, this will be my go 2 when I'm craving Mac n cheese. So moist and creamy, I highly recommended! My friend got the chicken pedi pero and loved it. The perfect amount of food though the peri peri def has a kick to it for those with a low spicy tolerance. They can adjust to your comfort level. Oh, and the cashier had A1 customer service. I wish I would have gotten his name to shout him out but his in laws are the owners and they are from South Africa. Highly recommend you check this place out! Located at Chattahoochee food works, free 2 hrs parking.

I'm tying up a table that could be used for a larger party, it's weird interacting with the server that probably wished they were serving at least a two-top. The whole thing's just uncomfortable for me. Enter the Food Hall. A collection of local restaurants all in one location. You pick your food stall, find a place to sit comfortably by yourself in the communal seating area and enjoy your food. Upon arriving in Atlanta, I made it my mission to eat at a food hall. And Atlanta's got some good ones. I chose Chattahoochee Food Works . Its food vendors were curated by Andrew Zimmern and partner Robert Montwaid. I tried a South African food vendor called Baked Kitchen. I've never had South African food before, so I was excited. This is Sosaties: Cubed Lamb and apricot skewers served on top of yellow rice with mac and cheese, pickled red onions, a tomato garlic chutney, crispy onions, chives, and drizzled with a jalapeño apricot BBQ sauce. I absolutely destroyed this plate. The lamb was tender and was perfect with a bit of apricot. The BBQ sauce was a perfect blend of heat and sweet and had me coming back for more. If you're in Atlanta alone or with a group, check out Baked Kitchen in the Chattahoochee Food Works food hall.
