    Fountain Drink Sweet Potato Chips

Great customer service. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Location was clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]A little busy (lunch time) but staff were welcoming and helpful.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Ordered the Jerk ginger pineapple with a half and half (half rice and salad). Ordered original sweet potato chips and a zero calorie creme soda. Fresh ingredients and filling a saved half of my bowl for the next day. House made jerk sauce is SPICY. But I added avocado on the side to cool it down. Definitely will be back to explore different gustos.

The food is good, but the customer service is horrible. I was sitting down trying to plan my day out and I purchased a bag of chips and was thinking about more food. But the Harrassing manager Ms. Johnson was so rude and said "with all due respect You've been sitting here for over an hour and I'm going to have to ask you to leave. If I let you sit here for a long time then we'll have to let everybody sit here for a long time.." Keep in mind I was just getting ready to leave and felt very harassed by this lady who did not even thank me for spending any money there. When she was very rude, I changed my mind to purchase to NOT BUY more food because I was debating on buying some more food. But from this point forward, I'll tell anybody please, please neverrrr spend your money with somebody who would not even say thank you for you SPENDING Money as they are never grateful for mine and they never tell me thank you when I've spent money there. That's why I hardly go to this Gusto at 2 Park place in Atlanta at 30303. This review keep someone else from going through the pain and harassment that I unfortunately experienced

Lemon pepper ranch bowl was great! Very filling without feeling too heavy. Great service also.

The food comes out fast, and the food is what you would expect from a drive-in style burger joint from yesteryear. The original location is near Georgia Tech and is huge. It has a retro feel without feeling old. I got a bacon double cheeseburger with fresh cut fries. The food was good and beyond cheap. The have chili dogs, onion rings and shakes as well. Cool place, good food but nothing that will amaze you.

It was shocking how much the quality of the food and service had declined. Shrinkflation was real. The only thing that remained the same was the historic atmosphere, and if that is all that this generation relies on to carry this icon into the future, I believe your prospects are limited. Frank Gordy and his operating philosophy, which he stated clearly when receiving the Atlanta Salesman of the Year Award in 1979, was built around quality and fairness: "I built my business around quality and fairness. We never change the quality or the taste of Varsity food; our food must be the same every day. And we greet our customers with courtesy and serve them quickly. We let them know we appreciate their business. So there's no secret to our success. Anyone will be successful if they build their business around quality and fairness." CAN THE MANAGEMENT SAY THAT HIS VISION IS STILL IN PLACE TODAY????? Based on my experience on Saturday, I can tell you that your team has only lost the original philosophy; they have lost their way, plain and simple, and are headed for a major failure. It will be a sad day when I read about the doors closing on this icon.

We got the pimento Mac and cheese cups, some miller lites, and the peach cobbler. The Mac and cheese was amazing, definitely a must try. The peach cobbler was good but the filling tasted like it was canned and the crust wasn't crispy. Next time I come by, I'd definitely want to try their banana pudding. The employees working were super nice and helpful. They were quick to take our orders and brought out our food very fast. I also liked that they had a combination of indoor and outdoor seating, this seems like a fun place to grab a drink with friends.

We had to wonder up the steps from the sidewalk to make sure it was open. Street level, it is hard to see up in here and it looked like no one was in the dining room. But when we got up there to look at the menu, we noticed that it was open and were greeted by the hostess. Still thinking that this place was empty and we were given the option to pick where we wanted to sit. We chose the bar once we knew it was an option. Then that's where we were clued in to how big this space was. Behind what we thought was the wall to the kitchen was actually the other side to the restaurant. Sitting at the bar was a good choice as we were greeted and off and running. After looking over the menu I went with the Taco Trifecta which allows you to choose three tacos from their list, excluding the lobster and birria. With that I chose the Baja Fish, Southern Comfort, and Mac Daddy. I added a side of tater tots to make it feel like a meal. My complaint, and this is my only complaint, is the price for a side here. For what I paid, I should have gotten more than eight tater tots. I know it's a side, but that is less than an order of fries at a fast food place. As far as the tacos, yum! I went through these in a particular order, in the order of how excited for them I was. It didn't hurt that I got one beef, one chicken, on fish. I started with the Baja Fish. White fish, shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, cilantro and chipotle aioli. You could tell this was fresh, but the least favorite of the three for me. Then I dug into the Southern Comfort. Grilled chicken, cotija, grilled onions, fried pickles, and chipotle bbq sauce. What made me want this one was the fried pickles on it. The mix of flavors was amazing and this really worked. The Mac Daddy is basically a take on the Big Mac. Smashed burger batty, American cheese, special sauce, sesame seeds, shredded romaine, tomato, pickles and diced onions. This was by far my favorite. I really enjoyed this one. If I were to do this again, I might just get three of these. While dining I glanced around this place. How interestingly it was decorated. Then let your eyes glance up. That is when you will notice the decor and the tie in to the name. Mostly, if you just glance quickly, you'll notice the buckets. But look closer and you will notice the garbage cans, but what really got me was a mailbox used as a lamp shade. Totally unique.
