What a little gem I'm so surprised I didn't know about. Cute little spot with casual up scale eating. Delicious beef tar tar. Pizza pepperoni and white absolutely perfect. Charcuterie was delish. Service is the walk up counter type. Have a bar with good cocktails but if you know me by now if there's no giant ice cube in my old fashioned or Negroni I don't want it. So feedback is just that. Get big ice cubes for your craft cocktails. Everyone was nice. Vibe in back is great. Def will be back.

    Grinder sandwich
    Dana O.

Went to staplehouse for lunch to try the grinder sandwich, but ended up trying the pizza as well. We went on a Saturday and street parking was free. We ordered the grinder sandwich for $23 and a pesto and Jamon (ham) pizza for $35. The food came out within 15 minutes. The grinder sandwich was tasty! There were many flavors and textures. Overall, it had a strong garlic/pesto saucy flavor to me. I liked the crunch of the pickled carrots. It's a good sandwich for sure if you're a sandwich lover. The pizza we picked had no cheese layer or red sauce. It was smoked burrata with Jamon ham, and arugula with balsamic vinegrette on top, so it almost felt like a salad on top of the pizza. The pizza dough was thin and delicious, but they somehow get the crust thick and chewy. The flavor again was very pesto and balsamic vinegarette driven. It was well made and the arugula was very crunchy/fresh, but it's a personal size pizza for a steep price. Overall, we thought that the food was well made and good, but i don't see myself going out if my way to come here for a sandwich or pizza. One thing that surprised us was that they charge a 4% employee health insurance to their customers for their employees. It wasn't disclosed in advance, so we were surprised when we saw it on our receipt. I'm sharing just in case anyone has a budget to follow, as it is a surprise charge. This place is mainly self service, so you can get your own water and napkins. There's limited seating inside and an outdoor patio. It's casual inside with lots of plants and wine. Cool experience!

Loved how casual this place was and the service was great. We got the Caesar salad and pepperoni pizza and both were delicious. I'm not exactly sure what was in the dressing but I would like it on every salad from now on. The pizza was also great and the sauce had a little spice which i loved

I've only been able to stop by staplehouse for lunch but it's been one of my favorite new discoveries of 2024! I really don't think you can go wrong in ordering here, everything I've had from them has been so delicious. I'm not usually a salad person but I could eat their caesar salad everyday -- I think it might be my favorite salad i've ever had. Their mexican hot chocolate cookie also feels so elevated with a subtle spicy kick that balances the sweetness so so well! Genuinely looking forward to when I get to go back here!

This place has been on my list for a while and I think it is worth the hype. Some of the freshest pizza I've had in Atlanta and the Calabrian was so good! I absolutely loved the melon salad, a perfect summer salad. The concept of the restaurant is definitely a casual spot that you can just drop in. Recommend!!

Interesting dining experience! I think the restaurant/market, is a great concept, but the food prices are a bit much. I was a bit shocked at the price of the food when ordering. My family each ordered a pizza, while I ordered the hot chicken sandwich. The sandwich was fire! I don't typically indulge in chicken sandwiches, but I didn't really get excited by any other menu items. I was a bit disappointed by the fact the sandwich was $19, and it didn't come with a side item. That's highway robbery! Anyhow, I'm sure the locals in the area love this cute, hip restaurant, as it offers a chill vibe, good food and it has a Michelin star. The pizzas looked really good, but again, they were pricey and a bit small. The service was pretty good, the cashier was friendly and patient. Overall the restaurant had great food, a relaxed atmosphere and good service, so I highly recommend this spot.

Saw this place on social media and it didn't disappoint. The grinder was on point! And the pizza was sooo good. Very friendly service and seating was so chill and it didn't hurt the weather was perfect...

An Atlanta must! If you are looking for a fun, casual but well done lunch, I absolutely recommend here. Their grinder sandwich is probably the best you can get. You order at the counter. And for dinner, this is really spectacular. Upscale, farm to table. Truly everything they serve is incredible. Vibes are immaculate, minimalism, modern inside. Servers know everything you could need to know.

How someone gives this place lower than a five star is beyond me. As a fashion designer and filmmaker who moonlights as a chef (bread, sandwiches, sushi and pasta are my thing) this place left me in awe for the Italian grinder. So good I got two to go. The ambiance is intentional with an upscale cheers vibe meets speakeasy. The floor plan screams brilliance (minor in architecture so I hate terrible layouts. Kara (sp, was a gem to meet) and the flavor profile in this sandwich gave me the perfect food journey of the pickled veggies, cheese some melted and not, and the flawless texture of bread rise to meat ratio, "Jesus, son of Mary it was divine" ...so good I got two to go, one for my friend to share with his wife, and one to share with my wife. I booked the some day a chef tasting for my anniversary April 19th. This place is intentional and that sandwich is best I've hand including 30+ countries of travel. SALUTE.

I always thought the food at Staplehouse was beyond my level of food appreciation. When I saw they had opened a market on Instagram, I felt like it was the perfect opportunity to try their food on a lower key level. And I did not regret! The market is split into a few sections, but I generally stick to the bakery and pastry display case and top it off with a coffee or a ginger ale. I do like that the heated covered patio is now open for dine-in and pups ARE allowed (well, at least I've brought my pup and they haven't said no lol) I've tried quite a few items now, including the chocolate non bons, a citrus tart, empanadas (steak & potato, cheesy onion), the focaccia, pork belly brioche, and beef cheek pie. All of the pastries are buttery, flakey and super meaty and flavorful. The meat filled pastries are heavier due to the buttery pastry but I need to try some of their menu items that aren't "pre-made" and "heated up" and have a true dine-in experience. But until then, I'm totally ok with stopping in for a quick bite of pastry or dessert!

What should have been a 30-second transaction turned into one of the strangest retail experiences I've had in a long time. The cashier, Sophia, simply refused to complete the sale. Instead, she remained standing at the register while other paying customers waited in line until a manager eventually stepped in and finished the transaction. Let that sink in: a cashier holding up the line and refusing to ring up a customer for no legitimate reason until a manager had to intervene. If the owners care to review their camera footage from that time, they'll see the entire interaction. At no point was I rude, disruptive, or inappropriate. The escalation came entirely from the employee. What stood out most was the willingness to create a scene and delay multiple customers over what appeared to be a personal reaction rather than any store policy or legitimate issue. Retail is not complicated: ring up the customer, be reasonably polite, and keep the line moving. Apparently that was too much to ask here. I'm not looking for compensation and I'm not interested in arguing about it. But it was such an unnecessarily unpleasant interaction that I felt it was worth documenting. Needless to say, I won't be returning to this location.

Or, you're a bit adventurous and want to explore spirits produced by companies other than the big guys. Maybe none of these are true, and you just need a liquor store. Located in the same building as Manuel's Tavern (which makes plugging it in to your GPS super easy), it's located on the corner with parking that is a tad tricky. You can park behind Manuel's where there are probably 20 spots most marked as being available to Elemental Spirits customers. There are also two 15 minute spots as well that for a quick stop work perfectly. Inside you'll find some of the most helpful and well informed staff in a liquor store I've encountered. Their spirits selection covers the usual categories such as Gin, Vodka, Rum, Bourbon, Sake, etc. In each case, their selections definitely skew a bit off the mass market path (and that's definitely ok). Here you will not see six hundred facings of different Bacardi flavors and Absolut Vodka flavors you'll never really use. Instead, you'll see a carefully selected roster of spirits from a wide range of distilleries that excel at their particular product(s). This is the place you probably can find that unique bottle you've been searching for. Sorry, bourbon hunters, you're probably not going to find some rich stash of Pappy or other overpriced, overhunted bourbon. I'm a rum guy, and while the selection wasn't massive, that which was on offer was a fantastic mix of distillers and blenders, all of whom make excellent products. Picked up some Paranubes Mexican rum from Oaxaca while I was there. There was a great selection of gin, vodka, aperitifs, bitters to explore. They also had a dozen or more bourbons and other spirits where they had worked with the distillers to select a specific barrel (a.k.a. A barrel pick). There's a lot to browse and explore here. Not a spirits person, but focused more on wine? They got you as well. Probably over 250 labels available across a range of grapes, origins and styles. Picked up a Portuguese Rose while I was there most recently. What about beer and cider? They've got you there as well with a diverse selection of those as well - and not dozens of facings of Lite, Busch, Angry Orchard or other mass market products. In the end, a very reasonably priced, exceptionally well stocked liquor store with outstanding staff who know their products exceptionally well. Parking is decent behind Manuel's, and pricing is good given the unique and high quality products they have on offer. Head over there, chat with the staff, and pick something other than that bottle of Absolut, Meyers, or Sapphire you were about to buy. I'm certain you'll find something you will love. Oh, and by the way - looking for old school, classic cocktail glasses? Guess what? They have lots of that on sale as well! Can't recommend these guys enough.
