    Prosciutto di Parma panini
    Thu D.

We went for an early breakfast, so there were plenty of parking spots available. However, the restaurant is located in a plaza with other businesses and entertainment venues, so I can see the parking lot filling up quickly during busier hours. There's also additional parking across the street if needed. It was our first time visiting, and we came on the recommendation of a foodie friend who especially encouraged us to try the gelato. Unfortunately, the cookies & cream flavor was so popular that they had sold out and hadn't restocked yet, so we tried the coconut instead. It ended up being a very pleasant surprise. It's rare for me to find such flavorful coconut gelato at a non-Asian restaurant. The taste was rich and authentic, very close to real coconut rather than the artificial-flavored versions. We had: - Prosciutto di Parma panini: I know prosciutto is typically served cold, but I was happy that the sandwich itself was warm overall. Next time, I'd probably ask for the cheese to be melted more. - Chicken Parmesan panini - Build-your-own cheese pizza with tomato sauce: very satisfying, though next time I may ask if they can make an all cheese version without the tomato sauce. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The panini was packed with thick slices of prosciutto, and I actually had to take most of my meal home because it was a bit too many for breakfast. Since we arrived very early, we were the only dine in customers at the time. The restaurant has that cozy, neighborhood establishment atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. The gentleman who took our order and seemed to be managing the restaurant was incredibly friendly and attentive. We could feel the warmth and hospitality throughout the visit. We really enjoyed our experience and definitely plan to come back sometime to try the dinner menu. Highly recommended!

For all sandwiches it says it comes with arugula, or a green lettuce and a vinaigrette. Mine nor my husband's came with either of that, even after we requested at the checkout counter. There is no flavor on the sandwich and hardly any organization in here. It was astounding how under and poorly staffed they are. Our sandwiches were on the counter for 10 minutes before they were brought to us, total time from ordering to getting the sandwich was 30 minutes. So by the time we got them, we were starving, the food was lukewarm but there's hardly anything in it-- as in I could've made this at home. I can't believe this was such a disappointment for a potential neighborhood gem. I hope they can improve in the coming months for other patrons.

This may be my third review of Cucina Baci, but there's a reason for it. This small hideaway on Peachtree has its third chef. The first one, Jeremy, was excellent. Second one was a brief affair, deservedly. Now this tiny restaurant/ wine bar/ takeout has hit pay dirt. New chef Hector is very much the real deal. He's Italian through and through. He looks the part and is turning out the best, most authentic Italian food in Atlanta. If you haven't been there, go. If you have been and felt just okay about it, go again. It's quirky, friendly, casual, totally Italian. My favorite pastas: bolognese, vodka sauce, cacio et pepe (first good one I've had outside Italy), lasagna. Ask about specials. Get the eggplant. Same for meatballs. There's been a lot of turnover on this stretch of Peachtree. Don't let this one get away. It's a jewel.

This is not your normal wine shop. We went for their valentine's dinner and it was excellent. It was $80 for dinner and wine pairing. Each dish was excellent and the wine was great too. This is a very laid back vibe so if you go in be prepared to be patient with service. It wasn't outstanding service but it wasn't bad. They seemed to not have a lot of organization around their service but it worked. We sat at the bar area and had a great time chatting with the staff. They are relatively new so I think they are still working on some things. Even with that, I thought it was an amazing evening. They said they have live music every Friday and Saturday, and you can do wine tastings any day of the week. I can't wait to go back for live music and wine tasting.

I'm always on the hunt for new local spots, and Cucina Baci is already a fast favorite. The moment I walked in, I felt like I'd stumbled into a cozy Italian hideaway. I tried one of the pizzas after JR highly recommended it and I'm so glad I listened to him. The pizza crust was incredible and the toppings were delicious. I'm officially obsessed! I also enjoyed the wine tasting of the week and the selections were perfectly curated. And what makes it even better is that it's right in my neighborhood! I love having a spot like this just around the corner--perfect for a casual dinner with friends or date night. Can't wait to come back and work my way through the rest of the menu. Welcome to the neighborhood, Cucina Baci! I'm so glad you're here!

The #13 Italian. Crazy good and fresh!

Outstanding! I had no idea where this was or what it was. What it is, is a really down-to-earth, customer-centric, family type of shop, store, bar with a lot of charm! I googled best Italian sandwich in Atlanta and was absolutely thrilled. So damn good with authentic, local and imported ingredients. I WILL be back! Wow!

So happy this place is finally opened! I have been eying it for a few months now and I was so excited to see it open. JR the GM was so helpful and knowledgeable recommending some wine for me. I had the flight of the day and thoroughly enjoyed it. The vibe is exactly what I was looking for. It's the perfect weekend place to have some wine, other Italian goodies, and just unplug for a little. I'll be back...often!

The prices are a bit high - about $4-5 for a small pour (my guess for red is about 2 oz), ~$9 for a medium pour, and ~$18 for a glass. It's a great concept though where you can try what you want but it can get pricey quick. They have different food options as well, including salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards. We went on a Friday and they had live jazz outside which was great to listen to. It's a great spot for a date night or for a small group of friends. We were sitting down and saw quite a few tables drinking some wine and they all had chillers on the table too. We went inside and were greeted immediately upon entering, and a woman there gave us a rundown on the wine store in addition to what they offer. You can buy wine from here and drink it either inside or right outside on the tables in the front. They offer flights almost every day, and the lady mentioned that they are changing them almost every day too. She said that the daily wine flights are $25 per person which includes 3 half-glass pours. This is honestly such a steal! She also mentioned that they have different events throughout the year, and said to check their Instagram for an up-to-date calendar. The store was quite spacious inside, and they had so many different wine bottles to choose from. They had sparkling, white, reds, and even some oranges too! The bottles all ranged in different prices, so you will definitely find something you like and something that's also within your budget. They also had a nice selection food wine-esque food too, like chips and crackers. The staff was super nice and knowledgeable about all their offerings. Everything about this tour was amazing. But the shining star... our tour guide Jerome! He was an absolutely perfect guide and great guy! (We were very sad to say bye to him at the end of the day!) He was SUPER knowledgeable about wine and was able to explain things in a way that was easy to understand, and we learned so much from him! He took us to three great wineries, we got to spend about 2 hours at each I think is what it came out too. All the wines we had were fantastic and with his help, we were able to get so much out of the tasting experience. Since we were staying in Blue Ridge, we had the option to drive to one of the wineries to meet Jerome, and then he drove us to the wineries from there. He was a great & safe driver, the van was comfortable and he even had water and snacks for us! Also, they provided lunch for us at the first winery! They had a great choice of options (including vegetarian) and it was delicious!! (I personally got the brisket tacos and it was so good!) We would HIGHLY recommend contacting Pop The Cork if you're in town - and if you can, request Jerome - you will absolutely not regret it and will love him!
