Upon arrival, you check in and show your ID and present a credit card. You are then given a card that you use to purchase what wine you want. They have a wide variety from whites to rose to red to sweet wines. All the ones we tried were good. The prices are a bit high - about $4-5 for a small pour (my guess for red is about 2 oz), ~$9 for a medium pour, and ~$18 for a glass. It's a great concept though where you can try what you want but it can get pricey quick. They have different food options as well, including salads, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards. We went on a Friday and they had live jazz outside which was great to listen to. It's a great spot for a date night or for a small group of friends. It can get crowded so it might not be as good for larger groups.

I absolutely love the concept of sampling different options--they let you choose between a taste, a half pour, or a full pour, and the prices are really reasonable. If you fall in love with a specific wine, they have a market side where you can buy a bottle to take home. They also have a food menu if you want to grab a bite while you sip. The staff is super friendly, and the whole vibe is perfect for a girls' night, a fun date night, or just exploring new wines.

ATL Vineyard Express........Is it possible to give more than 5 stars? This was a surprise for me by…read moremy significant other "he received plenty brownie points for this oneJ". Oh what a wonderful surprise and experience it was........So let's just say that I was very stunned to learn that there were so many wineries in the state of Georgia. This is how my journey unfolded on this beautiful day; I will start with Tom Ward the owner....Mr. Wine Connoisseur himselfJ Very knowledgeable and full of wisdom beyond his years. There wasn't a question that I asked or wanted to learn about wines that Tom wasn't able to provide me with an answer for. Tom was friendly, kind, attentive and very accommodating. Once we got on the tour bus, filled with snacks, water, wine and movies I was like a kid on her way to her very first field trip. We made a stop at one of his pickup locations to pick up two additional lovely ladies. We stopped and had a celebratory toast to begin our wine adventure; it was amazing. From there, we drove to the first winery "Wolf Mountain Vineyard". It was cozy, beautiful, with great ambiance. We had a quick bite (very delicious) and of course several rounds of wine tasting. Then we were off again to our 2nd winery "Serenity Cellars". This in itself was an amazing experience. The staff was remarkable; there was a wide selection of wines red and white. I am normally a sweet wine drinker, but this definitely gave me an opportunity to expand my palate and gave me a better appreciation for different wines. Of course, I could not forget the beautiful young lady that serenaded us with her lovely voice. Lastly, our 3rd winery "Kaya Vineyard & Winery". This winery was a little bit more upbeat, much younger crowd, not as quaint as the other wineries but nonetheless still good. There wines were ok but didn't knock me off my feet. Yes, I still drank it.....all of it lol. The view was amazing, one of the most beautiful rainbows I have ever seen. It was just my luck because then the second rainbow came out; first time ever seeing a double rainbow. So I said all this to say, no matter your level of expertise with wines this is the tour for you. There is something for everyone. I bought several bottles of wine and have been enjoying some and put the rest up for another time. I am a light weight so on the way home I slept like a baby while everyone else enjoyed a great documentary on wines. I am actually looking forward to doing this tour again. Maybe in the Spring or the Summer. One of my best tours ever!!!!! I applaud the level of excellence received at ATL Vineyard Express.

It was easy to find with plenty of parking, and although it looked like they were preparing for an event later that evening, everything was still open and running smoothly. The property was clean and well-kept, with live music set up and playing outside, which added to the atmosphere. We ordered at a counter. I chose the sweet selection and my daughter chose the white wine flight. Each flight included four 2 oz pours and cost $60 total. We were informed there was also a food truck on-site. We tried the pimento cheese dip and hummus platter--both were enjoyable, though a bit pricey (I don't recall the exact amounts). The vineyard has a large covered patio as well as another seating area with sun shades. Most tables were occupied, and several guests had brought their dogs, which added a relaxed, welcoming feel. While I enjoyed the overall experience, I did find the wines and food a bit on the expensive side, especially given the bottle prices listed on the tasting menu (ranging roughly from $36 to $75). I didn't end up purchasing any bottles for that reason. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and a nice way to spend Father's Day. I'd consider coming back again--possibly in the fall, and bringing my dog next time.

For $35, you get unlimited wine tastings, a little bit of food and some great music. With your ticket, you get a plate and a glass and you get to peruse the 10 tables, each of which has 6 to 10 wines to try. Between the tables there are some sponsors, plus the shops are open throughout the marketplace. With your ticket, you get 3 raffle tickets which double as food coupons. My only complaint is that the food offerings were minimal. Three vendors were there with food - an Italian food vendor (I don't remember their name) with pizza and bruschetta, Moe's Southwest Grill with chips and salsa and Atkins Park Tavern with fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese - this was the winner! They raffled off some fun prizes and the event overall was quite lovely. I would say that in the future they should block off the main street of the marketplace from auto traffic as it caused a few issues - it would certainly make for a better event in the future.

However, you will have a lovely time trying as many wines as you could possibly taste in 3 hours. This year, they had 86 different wines at 14 different tables. I'm pretty familiar with California wines but not so much with European or South American wines, so it was fun to use this event to learn about and try some of these other wines. Most tables were a mix of different white and red wines from a variety of locations, although there were a few tables that had wines entirely from "Spain," "South Africa," or "California," which was fun. I was surprised there was lots of bubbly, too -- always fun to have sparkling wine! I loved that they gave out a flyer with a map of all the tables and the wines found at each table. The price of all the wines was also listed there. We started with the expensive wines first, but this booklet was also helpful because The Wine Cellars (the host) had all the wines available for sale so we stopped by afterwards to pick up our favorites. I also used the flyer to keep track of our ratings of the wines and which we had tasted. Expect a generous tasting pour -- 1/5 or 1/6 of a wine glass for each. Music was great and perfectly paired for the occasion, especially that they had two bands at each side of the Market Village shopping center so it was never outside earshot. Lots of food available at the several adjacent restaurants. If I were to have one suggestion, it'd be to give out a souvenir wine glass that is actually glass. The plastic ones were functional (and safe for an alcoholic event), but a highlight of beer or wine festivals is a take-home glass and it'd be fun to have one for this event, too, even if you pick it up on your way out.

The menu is solid but the execution varies... the staff is enthusiastic and kind, but the service average on efficiency overall - not a pass, just noticeably a bit under-trained. My biggest annoyance? I want to be able to stop in for gelato in my neighborhood and the 3 times I've done so the gelato has been either completely out of stock except 1-2 flavors, and/or whatever flavor I choose has been improperly stored in some way with icy freezer burned spots. Not sure if they are making too much, storing wrong, or what is happening but it doesn't make it great. I do love the little Italian market items and the wine shop and tastings and they have some live music it seems sometimes. Could use better lighting and coziness overall too. I'll get back to keep trying bc I like it overall but I'm hoping they work out these kinks as they are open longer.
