This is our first time visiting this vineyard. We thought we were lost when you turn into a subdivision but nope at the very end of the subdivision is the vineyard. This was my first time visiting this winery. My brother and friends have been patronizing this place for months and recommended it for a birthday celebration for my husband and my friend Michele. It's located at the back of a subdivision in Acworth near Lake Allatoona. From my house off Briarcliff it's a 55 minute drive in light traffic. The parking area is ample and free but it's not paved. Some things to note before planning a visit. *Arrive early and close to opening time. It's a popular venue and it was very full for our July 3rd birthday picnic. Arriving early will give you the best opportunity to secure a table on the shaded covered patio. *Seating is available indoors with Airconditioning and there is additional seating with tables and umbrellas adjacent to the grapevines. * Outside food is permitted but outside wine and liquor is not permitted. Please patronize this business by purchasing wine by the bottle or by the glass. *Food is available onsite from a food truck with a limited menu. Small charcuterie and cheese plates were available from a self serve cooler inside at reasonable prices. Popcorn and cheese straws are also available. *Some weekends feature a buffet brunch which my brother highly recommends. *All the wine that we purchased onsite was high quality. It surprised me because I was not expecting it to be as balanced and complex as legacy wines from Europe. We purchased a variety of both white and red wines. We are a group of wine snobs and we rated all of our wines at 90 or higher based on the methodology of wine spectator. Bottles were all priced around $32 and came in an attractive metal cooler and real glasses were provided!! Kudos to the owners for limiting plastic waste!! * Clean bright bathrooms are located inside and were kept clean the duration of our three hour picnic. * Live music is regularly provided on the covered patio so please be sure to bring cash for tips. My brother said that the quality of the music is consistently great. During our visit there was a young guy singing lite country music and playing a guitar. He played his own compositions as well as cover music. It was awesome! I really really love this place! The staff were super friendly and gracious. They proactively offered us wine samples to help guide us with wine pairings for our picnic food. We ended up purchasing additional bottles to bring home and enjoy on our deck. I highly recommend this winery and me and my family look forward to our next visit!!! read more

My Husband and I love a good winery and this one fits the bill. We went yesterday which was Saturday and my husband tasted the four red wines that they had to offer. He ended up purchasing a Pinot noir. There was a pizza truck outside so we also got two pizza pies. I love when wineries have food trucks to feed ya lol. The inside of the tasting room was beautiful with it's night ceilings and wood. There was a decent amount of seating as well and lots of parking. Next time we go will be in fall and we will sit outside since it was 90 degrees out yesterday. I did see that they have fans in some of the outdoor area so that is nice. I also like that it's close to where we live so we don't have to drive all the way to north Georgia to drink. read more

WARNING...After reserving the event room and paid 1 month before my daughter's birthday party, I was contacted 2 weeks later stating they made a mistake booking the room on Easter Sunday and would be closed but offered to honor the contract and the owner would come in as scheduled from 2-5pm since it was too late to contact everyone coming and too late to find a new space. BTW the room is $100/hour and you are required to purchase over $400 in wine and a $80 service fee is added automatically to use the space. Moving forward to the day of the event. I arrived to set up the buffet of food and deserts and was met by the Owner, Jenny. She immediately expressed that it was Easter and she was here out of obligation because of the contract that was made by mistake. We proceeded to set up and set out some plastic eggs for the kids outside. I was again approached and told this would not be allowed if the vineyard was opened. She continued to tell me again about being here on Easter, she said that to me at least 10 times over a 30 minute time frame. Her husband, Bob (owner) then showed up and was screaming at her because the kids were having fun outside picking up eggs and we were utilizing the entire space instead of just staying in the small event room. (On a usual open day, you can use the entire vineyard inside and out) but for some reason they had a problem with this since it was Easter. Long story short...Jenny and Bob made my daughters birthday celebration absolutely miserable and Jenny complained to many of my guests and sat in the middle of the room glaring at everyone the entire 3 hours. Constantly interfering with the guests and stomping around in a huff the entire time. Unfortunately I will never visit the vineyard again and neither will the 40 guests that came that witnessed the unprofessional, disrespectful behavior exhibited by the owners of this establishment. read more

This is a beautiful winery. I was a little surprised about the location but I also think its very cool. You literally go past a few new construction homes and a house to whom I would assume belongs to the owners of the winery and then bam! You're at this barn/winery. The inside has a small bar, a few tables and chairs and a cozy sitting area with a sofa. The ceilings are high and there's a beautiful rustic chandelier. The view from the window at the bar is gorgeous as well as the entire outside area. Lines and lines of vines with beautiful fall trees for the backdrop. There's an abundance of seating outside too. There was a bee attacking me so after a short time at a picnic table outside, we came in. The wine selection is vast. There's both reds and whites to choose; from dry to sweet. They also have a few wine slushies which my husband said was one of the best he ever had. read more

This is definitely my new go to spot out here in the burbs. It's a hidden gem in northwest Cobb. It's hidden within a new housing development. I must say we can't get enough of these delicious wine slushees. There's definitely no better way to cool down on a sweltering hot summer day in Georgia. They also have a good rotation of food vendors/trucks and plenty of tasty wine to select from. It gets crowded quick on weekends and seating is hard to come by, but it's a must visit spot for relaxation. read more

No more driving to North Georgia- Thank goodness for a vineyard in the metro area! Let me preface this: You will 100% drive through a neighborhood to get this vineyard! As you drive through the vines, you'll quickly be greeted by a farmhouse style barn up on the hill. Parking is a plenty as the adjoining fields offer a short walk to the bar. Once inside, you'll surely feel like you're home. The owners (2 generation family ownership, with 4 generations living near the grounds) greet you as if they've known you forever and it's not your first visit there. The bartenders behind the bar guide you through their menu and specifically pick a wine that is right up your alley! Personally I prefer a sweeter white, and the Algoma is to die for! But they have everything from dry whites, to flavorful reds. Even have a flagship strawberry wine that's sure to please even the newest of wine drinkers. And per the owners, soon in the works is a Muscadine wine! If you're not much of a wine drinker, don't be deterred, because they also offer 2 slushy flavors every day. And if you're attending on an event weekend, they'll even showcase their ginger lime slushy or red white and blue slushy. Word for the wise: order 2 as once they're out, it will take another 20ish minutes for the next batch to be ready. This is the type of place where seating is bountiful. You are always welcomed to bring your own chairs and snacks and sit out on the lawn! If you forgot your snacks, no worries. They constantly have a revolving food truck lineup and charcuterie boards for sale in the building. As you can tell from the photos, this place is kid and pet friendly. What a neat find on Labor day weekend! Just 40 mins away from the city, this winery is huuuge! the tasting room is quite spacious and they have plenty of seating outside. They have live music over the weekends and is dog friendly so bring your pups! They have 12$ tastings and wine slushies. I opted for a glass of semi sweet red and it was quite delicious. This place is absolutely perfect for a girl's trip or a date. You can bring your own chairs and blankets and sit around the vineyard. When a good friend suggested checking this place out, I thought, "A vineyard in Acworth? This has to be an April Fool's joke." Nope it's real and it's fantastic! The drive through the neighborhood is lovely and and the homes are all farmhouse/craftsman style. Who wouldn't want to live in a neighborhood with a vineyard?! This is the best clubhouse! The entrance to the property of the vineyard is beautiful, you drive past the vines and parking is plentiful in the back so while you are in the winery and on the property you have a beautiful view of vineyards and trees and in our case, a gorgeous blue sky and sun. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating and it's all socially distanced. The inside has super tall ceilings so it fees even more spacious. They may add on a second level/loft in the future and there is definitely room for that. The windows at the bar open to the outside so bar service can happen on both sides, inside and outside. We decided on a wine tasting, you get five wines for $12, great deal and perfect to introduce yourself to the wines. Our favorites were the cabernet and the arrowhead red. They did have wine slushies available which I will try next time. The vineyard is family owned and operated, I met two of the owners (the young couple) who were both working that day and learned more about the vineyard as a family business. This is definitely a small business I am happy to support! The attention to detail adds to the charm. Fresh flowers on tables, cozy couch and chairs, wall decor, awesome scented soap in the bathroom, actual "chips" to keep count of your wine tastings. All of it is just lovey. They do offer some food/snack selections and events with food trucks (check their website calendar) and seem to be focused on creating a community gathering spot. At first I was thrown off by driving through a neighborhood to get to the winery. It was very busy. They have ample parking. There's two lots (one main lot and an overflow parking lot). I definitely recommend bringing chairs and a picnic blanket when you come. There's also a large indoor space. The wines have a large variety of sweet white and dry red wines. Service is great at the shake rattle and roll food truck was delicious!! Pricing was also reasonable for a winery. There's wine, fresh open air and food, what more could you want? read more

This past weekend we had a retirement party in their private room with a wine serving bar in the room, a charcuterie table with service for 35 to 40 people. The wine slushies are so tasty, our party was fabulous with black berry, mango, and lemon wine slushies available to our guests. The red blend wines offer a hint of the Norton grapes which are grown on site. The newest is named tribe and offers as aroma to the nose that promises a unique taste demanding more. Please try the Merlot for a satisfying dry red. The white wines are named Blossom for a Chardonnay lover. Do not leave without trying the Ella white wine.
