Well lit, clear pricing! Clean and interesting. I couldn't believe that they had Caymus sitting near the front door! friendly service, and the prices are amazing. I bought a bottle of vodka, my favorite vodka that I paid a price that I was paying before the pandemic. This is my place! The gentleman even puts protection around my bottles before bagging them. Great location and Great prices Oscar package stores sits at a major intersection off of Powers Ferry Rd and Terrell Mill Rd. They have a variety of brands at competitive prices. The shelves are organized and labeled and deals are usually highlighted at the front of the store with signage. I was very impressed with the level of service that went into the purchase, there is also a drive up window for the convenience of social distance or bad weather. A 750ml of Chopin Vodka was selling for 39.99! That is very impressive for martini fans! The bourbon section was loaded with hard to find brands as well as fair pricing. The scotch section was geared towards a more mature fan base with aged scotch from 10 to 20 years. Don't forget the ice! read more

Was in search of a special rum and vodka, went to several package store that had 'good selection' but all they had was the standard run of the mill brands. Happened to pass this and voila (they had my rum but not the gin but it's not very easy to find anyways). It was bright, welcoming and really did have good selection. Wines too, and reasonably priced read more

I'm five weeks into a new job and after about two weeks of working at the new offices, I asked the trainer, where is the nearest package store?? Another person who started the same day as me, told me she lives in the neighborhood and directed me here. I will admit to being use to picking my supply of alcohol up in liquor store the size of warehouses, but this much smaller sized spot fills my needs pretty well. They didn't have my brand of champagne, actually the champagne they carry is pitiful, and the reason for the two star rating. But I was able to find everything else I wanted. I wouldn't call the staff unfriendly, just they don't seem to greet you or thank you for your patronage. Maybe they spend all those courtesies on the drive thru folks. Yes, they have a drive thru. I scored and got the "$24" bottle of grey goose for $11 one day; it was the cherry flavored version, which is my personal fav. I guess they are getting rid of it cause they had the entire section of Cherry Noir Grey Goose marked down. Its right near my job, and I'm not shame to admit that I pour myself a lil something as I sit in traffic for damn near two hours every Friday to make the commute from work to home. Even though I've worked about 300 yards away for 2 years and I love alcohol, my first time in this place was only a week or two ago. My first visit was pretty good. I came looking for a good specialty beer selection and I found it. It's definitely better than most liquor stores. I ended up purchasing an Abita ale brewed with Louisiana pecans. Interesting! I scanned the rest of the store, it's actually pretty big and the selection looks diverse. I shall update this review upon a subsequent visit, which will most likely be today since it's Friday and I just got paid, son. read more

They have almost anything you could want from a liquor store. A wide variety of wines to munchies and mixers. They have outstanding service handled by a friendly and knowledgeable group of people. You feel like you're visiting a friend when you make a purchase. read more

I did notice that there weren't many employees on the floor to help guide folks through the selections, but luckily I was there with my own connoisseur. When we went to find some ciders to take home, I was almost disappointed as there wasn't much variety in the fridges but when we went down another aisle, we found some great options that were on the shelf. I ordered the bistec empanizado, hubby ordered the vaca frita, my son ordered the ropa vieja, my MIL orders the palomilla, and my FIL ordered a papa rellena and tamal along with a natural guava juice. We all shared bites of our plates with each other and everyone agreed that everything was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the vaca frita, so I stole a good bit from hubby and I also loved my FIL's guava juice. Service was good, but we got there shortly after opening so we had the place to ourselves. We noticed as it got busier, service definitely slowed considerably, but there was only one server for the whole place and one more handling to go orders. The one server did a fantastic job despite being the only one for multiple tables, but I did notice one couple left in frustration when they were not attended in a timely manner. I loved that they offer a total of 3 sides with the entrees, so you don't have to compromise on sides. I really enjoyed our meal and will be back to try more things on their menu soon. I definitely recommend Cuban Diner, but urge you to pack your patience if you go when there is a crowd. The good news is that the food will be well worth the wait!

When we asked the same woman wh greeted us if they sold olives, she said, "Try Publix next door" without offering any assistance or direction. Seconds later, we found the olives. Then, we were told we only had five minutes to shop by this same woman and a smaller, thinly framed man. As no one else in the store was given this instruction, we were disgusted even more as they both attempted to base their reasoning on the recent virus outbreak. Other customers in the store were equally disgusted as their explanation became more and more idiotic as they fumbled through their mis-matched ideology. Enangered by the unpleasant experience, we left, but so did a few others. Outside the store, other patrons remarked that they thought that this was solely based on race since no one else was given 5 minutes to shop.
