This is my local liquor store and they're often out of a lot of brands and take months to restock them. The young woman that works there is really rude. She tends to stare at you while you shop as if she thinks you plan to steal something. It's a very uncomfortable shopping experience overall. read more

I'd strongly recommend that no one shop at this establishment. A friend and I stopped there in an effort to get drinks for a social gathering we were attending within the hour. Initially, we were greeted by a woman who appeared more startled than welcoming as we entered the store. As we browsed the near-empty shelves, we realized our drink choices would be limited, but walked each aisle with optimism. When we asked the same woman wh greeted us if they sold olives, she said, "Try Publix next door" without offering any assistance or direction. Seconds later, we found the olives. Then, we were told we only had five minutes to shop by this same woman and a smaller, thinly framed man. As no one else in the store was given this instruction, we were disgusted even more as they both attempted to base their reasoning on the recent virus outbreak. Other customers in the store were equally disgusted as their explanation became more and more idiotic as they fumbled through their mis-matched ideology. Enangered by the unpleasant experience, we left, but so did a few others. Outside the store, other patrons remarked that they thought that this was solely based on race since no one else was given 5 minutes to shop. read more

Parman's Wine & Spirits - Parman's Wine & Spirits - Beer, Wine & Spirits Near Me - Sandy Springs, Georgia

I understand trying to make a buck or too on bottles that are high in demand, but when your price is over 3-4 times msrp that is a rip off. I will be taking my money else where that sells allocated bourbon at reasonable prices at least. Will never go back, not worth it, unless price Is no object. read more

Being in the store for just a few moments I could tell I wasn't their preferred customer. I won't be back.

I was looking for a liquor place close to my work, similar to the below reviewer, and this place popped up. It was close proximity, so it sounded okay. While the store is kind of small, and the selection isn't as varied as I've seen in other liquor stores, this place was alright. Prices were more or less comparatively the same as I'm used to seeing, maybe a couple dollars higher on a few things. But considering this is Sandy Springs, the slightly increased liquor prices aren't really that surprising. The staff was very helpful for my needs, so that was a serious plus. They made some suggestions about my purchases, and for the most part, they were pretty good suggestions. 3 stars isn't a bad thing, in this case. If you are truly stumped out over something, I feel like they would be excellent in responding to your needs. However, if you were searching for a rare liquor or wine, I'm not so sure this place would be able to help you out much on that front. read more

Service is great - nice associates who are very willing to help and answer questions. Prices are affordable. Selection is varied. Great place for liquor and other alcoholic beverages! read more

I stopped by Parmans earlier today with my roommate so he could grab some drinkable delights, and at a first glance the place really looked like a gas station that only sold alcohol. Not that there is anything wrong with that, considering most individuals don't really go to a particular liquor store because they prefer how nice of a place it is. Parmans had a great selection of liquor and wine to choose from. They have their higher priced dollars on the top of the shelf and the lower priced on the lower, which makes the term "top shelf" literal. Two of my favorite liquor selections that the store had was the chilled Jagermeister (not typical of a liquor store, but very nice) and the bourbon eloquently named "Fighting Cock." Their beer selection is decent. They have all of the popular domestic and import selections, but nothing really exotic or new, at least in my opinion. read more

I ran in here to grab a six pack of beer or four or five on my way to a party and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. Not of the beer necessarily, but they had a good variety of wine, with a lot of it on sale at the time. I found myself stopping and checking out a lot of wine, so much so that I ended up spending twenty minutes here rather than the two or three I intended to spend on grabbing some beer. The store itself is clean and efficient, but the location is way out of my normal booze shopping locale. It's a good liquor store, but not so good that I'd drive to Sandy Springs every time I need a bottle of wine. But if I'm in the neighborhood... read more

Really not sure how this place survives Must be living off the name of the previous owner Kinda run down and smelly Lady behind counter is very rude Lots of barren shelves and prices are not great either But mostly it's the staff that gives the place a creepy factor & they will speak a foreign language right in front of you Very rude read more

Way overpriced! I bought 2 bottles of crown caramel and they charged me $39 each and it's $27 everywhere else. I went back and asked if it was an error and he said no, that's their price and offered no correction even when I showed him online the price around the corner. I will never go back! read more

sometimes you just need to drink a bottle of Arrogant Bastard in your hotel room while spacing out after a day of training classes. this is where Parman's comes into play. dude behind the counter was nice. we were talking about beers with funny names. both agreed that "Raging Bitch" by Flying Dog might be the best one we've seen so far. prices are alright. I kinda expected cheaper prices in the South, but whatevs. read more

I stopped by here the other day to pick up a bottle of wine as a gift for the host on my way to a friend's place for dinner. The beer selection was not impressive, but they had all the usual requests. The wine selection was pleasantly surprising, and they had some interesting picks. Not the place to go if you're looking for rare selections, but conveniently located in the Publix shopping center and a good place to stop by if you're looking for a bottle of wine in a pinch. read more

Parman's changed ownership in the last year or so. The new owners really cleaned up the place. The staff seem to take a genuine interest in helping you find what you need. They have a good selection of liquors and a decent selection of beers. read more

They didn't have the whiskey we were looking for (Coldcock) but neither did the two we stopped at before ending up here. It's a large, bright, clean store. The man working tried to help us and was unapologetic about not having what we wanted. I want to go back and check out their selection. It was half hour before closing time and a few customers came in during the five minutes we were there so it seemed like they get a decent amount of traffic. read more

Love this place! They have the basics in terms of liquor, but they actually have a pretty solid craft beer section! Their prices are also very reasonable. What keeps me coming back is their friendly and fun atmosphere though! read more

I like Parman's. The staff is always pleasant (or maybe I'm just elated when I'm there because inebriation is in my near future). Anyway, it's not the largest store around, but the selection is nice (have the basic liquors & wines and there's always something interesting the beer cooler). For the 'neighborhood' liquor store, it's tops. The prices are decent, too! AND it will always have a special place in my heart because it was where I went on the Sunday that alcohol sales finally became legal on Sundays in Sandy Springs/Georgia. read more

We stopped here for just a minute. It was the closest liquor store to where we were at the moment. The cashier was a riot, playing a joke on the out-of-staters. Being from Ohio, there are weird liquor laws and when he told us something silly, he almost had us. Nice guy with great customer service. He told us about how we should go to the zoo and see the lion. And we did! read more

Not much to say, but it's one of the better spirit shops. They have a good selection and the guy working there is super helpful & friendly. He recommended a good bourbon to try for my next visit (angel's envy & belle Meade). Would rate it at a 5 if they had some cheese and pate lying around ^_^ read more

I am a beer fan (some would call it beer snob), and I love this place. While they do not have the selection of a few of Atlanta's big beer stores (greens), what they do have is great, and the variety is growing. They have a nice small selection of imports, including Belgians, as well as a nice small variety of your more well known craft brews. The selection itself is also growing, and often when I have a taste for something that is not on the shelves, the owner has no problem at all ordering it, and has done so a handful of times. I have also been told by the owner that the beer selection is about to grow. They are about to setup a few more racks of shelves to house more of a beer selection. Decent selection, and the kind of customer service you can only get from a small independently owned shop, that is what makes this my favorite store. In addition they also have a great selection of spirits and wines as well. read more

This is my favorite Liquor store in Sandy Springs. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you find the right bottle of wine for any occasion. The store is extremely convenient and was even open in the middle of a winter storm when everywhere else was closed. I am a loyal Parman's customer. read more

Parmans has great wine selection a lot of highly rated wines for cheaper prices then total wine. I was definitely impressed the new owner has done a great job of adding great quality wine and spirits. No longer driving to Total Wine. Thanks Minesh! read more

They loot you. He charged me $58.99 for McCallan 12 yrs old 750 ml bottle which is $48.99 in Costco. Are you kidding me? $10 extra for one bottle. I will never ever go to this store again. Please check in Costco before you go this place to save some good bucks. This is my first ever review for any kind of store because I am very very disappointed. If you have super extra money and if you do not care about the money then you can go to this store read more
