Started with the pulled pretzel with the cheese dip. Realllly good and hit the spot. Had the Fish and Chips as a main. The fish was massive light and tasty, tartar sauce was great. The fries tho were a bit over seasoned. Way too salty for me. I would dial that back but overall really good. I would come back. Staff was nice and attentive. The decor and layout I dug as well.

This place is on my Atlanta favorites. Amazing beer list here and it consistently rotates-- I highly recommend just for that alone. They also have a rare aged beer list as well. I've tried the fries hen of the woods mushrooms and their French onion soup, and they were both tasty. I usually come by early (before 6:30) because the dinner rush can get a little crazy.

I stopped here for some small plates with friends. I had never visited before the closure, but the place looks great now. Alcohol selection is huge. I'm really just writing this to talk about the fried hen of the woods mushrooms. Oh. My. God. I thought about these for weeks afterward. The batter was so crunchy and well-seasoned. Despite being quite large mushrooms, the interior was cooked perfectly. Cut them open and get a smear of the French onion dip they're served on... just wow.

Sweet spot for drinks and bites in Little Five Points. Great selection of beers and spirits. Friendly staff too!

Left work early on a Friday and was headed to one of my favorite places The Vortex. Decided I didn't need another burger. I used to go to the Porter years ago and had been anticipating the reopening. Wow was it delicious. I used to love the fish and chips. Man have they elevated that to a whole other level. FANTASTIC. I tried the hefeweizen beer. So darn good. I will definitely be back. Heck probably need to leave work early again.

The food here was really good and such a cool spot. The service was a little confusing as we had three different servers throughout our dinner. I had the smash burger, the pretzel and I had to try the salt and vinegar popcorn. The pretzel was amazing. The popcorn was also very interesting, I still don't know how I feel about it. They also had a large drink menu.

This rating is purely on my experience getting some drinks and no food. I was scoping out locations near my work conference for some unique beers. This place popped up as having a huge tap list and some hard to find beers. It's located near a funky intersection that had my Uber driver guessing where it was. It has a unique, funky vibe, in a good way. They have a huge, long bar and then I believe seating in the rear, as well as our front. The bartender was very nice and helpful. They indeed had some beers that I would never find back home and ones that I have wanted to try. Their beer list is immense, both draft and bottles. Their bartender worked hard finding a patron near me to find something that would fit her palate and apparently did a good job. The pricing was okay, not great considering the serving size, but what I ordered was also not readily available things. If we didn't have dinner plans perhaps I would have sampled some food, the menu looked decent.

Fish & grits -- the OUTKAST tribute. Fried haddock, shrimp gravy, grits, bacon bits.

I came here because they advertised that they had 60 beers on tap. The selection was really good and I enjoyed the beers there. But what really caught my attention was the fish and grits meal that they had for the brunch menu. The fish was fried perfectly and the grits with gravy was so delicious. It had shrimp and bacon bits in it. The bartender checked on us once while we were there but the food came out really quickly. Overall the vibe was really chill when I went there on a Saturday afternoon and I would definitely love to come back again.

What a great place. We went on a Wednesday before a concert at Aisle 5 down the street. They have so many different beer options. The bartender was extremely helpful with any questions I had about the menu or drinks. The bar is long with plenty of seats but it did fill up by 6:30. The pull apart pretzel and cheese was delicious. The pretzel had a soft interior and crispy crust it was more like pull apart bread than an actual pretzel but it was still good. The cheese was a bit thinner than I would have liked but it had really good flavor regardless. We split the smash burger with fries and it was to die for. It had tons of caramelized onions and cheesy goodness. Fries were crispy and very flavorful. We will be back!

Newly reopened spot in five points. They have a good food menu and a huge drink menu. If you like beer, this is a great spot. We got the goat cheese fritters and the smash burger. The fritters were so good! It came with 5 so plenty to split. The smash burger was pretty good. It came with a lot of fries!

So happy to have this staple back in my rotation. The new owner really nailed the revamp of the Porter, even keeping the plaques made during Covid. The beer selection alone will have you wanting to stop in just to see what they are pouring. Food is great, my favorites for the last decade are the salt & vinegar popcorn and the pull apart pretzel to start and my new favorite to the party is the cauliflower steak. Love to see this place taking on new growth and they have kept so much of the original ambiance. If you haven't gone, GO! If you have been, chances are I will see you there again. Love the Porter, keep up the amazing work and thank you!!!!!

Crispy hen of the woods mushrooms

Robbie was an excellent server and was knowledgeable about the menus. He had great suggestions for beer and cocktails. The food was perfect and we highly recommend the crispy Jen of the woods mushrooms. Even if you don't think you like mushrooms, they ate like fried chicken.

I've tried the Asian-style loaded fries (pictured below) twice now, and I honestly don't recommend it unless you like your char siu pork to be drenched in salt. It was nearly inedible both times. As for the chocolate chip cookie skillet, it was delicious, I practically inhaled the whole thing! The thing that honestly keeps me coming back is just the overall vibe of the place! My friend got the Asian-style loaded fries but unfortunately the meat was dry and the fries were soft. Another friend got a burger which came with a side of fries and those were crispy so it seems like they just load a lot of sauce onto the loaded fries that make them soft and cause them to get soggy really quickly.

This is very much a dive bar and there is nothing special about it. I will say if you are trying to come with friends y'all better come together otherwise yall won't be doing anything together. Now, on to the reason why I was here- the infamous wings. The positives-They come out hot and fresh; you can tell they are oven baked and not fried; there are several flavors for you to try; and the food came out quick. I tried lemon pepper because that is the baseline for me when it comes to new wing spots. I'm not a fan of dry rubs so the taste was just okay to me. I will most likely need to go back to try another flavor to give a more accurate assessment but I will say I may have been spoiled by the whole lemon pepper wet thing so again, that created a bias for me. I would definitely recommend this place, but be prepared to ask around for a table and wait in some lines. Also, keep in mind that the restaurant only makes a certain amount of wings a day, so get there before they're gone!
