We were in the area and wanted a dinner venue between 5 and 7 p.m. I noted that this place had trout so I made a note of it. The restaurant is located in a small neighborhood strip of businesses. This is the sort of site that must have been common in the 1950s but which seems out of place today (not in a bad way). It is in Peachtree Hills about half way between the Peachtree Battle plaza and the Lindbergh MARTA station. They have a handful (maybe 4?) of parking places adjacent to the restaurant. Otherwise, I guess you'll park on-street. You can enter onto the deck or via what appeared to be more of a 'main' entrance. We chose the latter, but it pretty much routed you back to the other end of the deck anyway. Someone greeted us promptly and said we could choose any table. The layout is mostly a deck with lots of window boxes, hanging plants, and ceiling fans. There appeared to be a much smaller inside dining area, but since the weather was nice we sat on the deck. The menu had a number of choices, so we both found something we wanted. My wife opted for the trout, which seems to be somewhat the exception on fish menus. I got their pasta, which they were open to doing as a vegetarian option (i.e., with mushrooms instead of chicken). I liked it. As for non-food options, they had beers (including local offerings, which they described to an adjacent table), a good wine selection, and (I think) cockatils from the bar. Prices were in line with a restaurant between midtown and Buckhead. I don't know that I'd be likely to be in this area for dinner commonly, but if I were I'd consider returning here. read more

Two of the four of us ordered eggs benedict which the eggs were hard boiled so sent back and second order came out delicious. First time. Love brunch and tried the Treehouse. No one greeted us when we walked in and the seating is all round tables with 4 chairs, we had a party of 6. The place was about 30% full. We found what seemed to be the best option and assembled the smallest chairs we could find to squeeze 6 people at the table. Just as we finally got seated a person appeared, visibly not happy with our table arrangement. We asked, "What do you normally do for 6? Do you recommend a different setup?" Street parking only. Good thing I didn't drive and got a spot close enough to the restaurant because we went early, 6pm. We didn't know so we stood at the entrance for a while. After that, we walk all the way to the bar and ask and process to go inside and find a table for us. We sat at the patio, close to the back door of the restaurant, since most tables are taken. The roof kept shaking and making strong noise like we're in a storm, but it was a sunny normal afternoon so I don't know what was up on that roof. The restaurant back door was closed or open completely, it just keep swinging back and fort by the wing, which is very off. The food is just mediocre. The servers are nice. I would say they lack professionalism but I didn't expect much at the beginning so it helps. I order a mocktail and specified it to not be sour. My drink came out very sour, even had lime on top so I wondered if the server heard me wrong. When I ask if they can make the drink less sour, the server gave me tiny sugar packets (those that you put in coffee). She was nice enough when I ask for liquid sugar. Since this is an ice cold drink, it's harder for crystal sugar to dissolve. There's not much to complain but nothing much to praise either. My friends want to meet up here because it's close by her place so I came in mostly for hanging out and talking with friends, not really for the food. read more

Had a late lunch here on a drive through town. Loved the porch seating. There is free parking (limited) in front of the restaurant. Nice variety of options. My husband loved his grilled salmon sandwich. I had two of the tacos--they are on the larger side. There are kid-friendly meals but no kids menu. Overall, very nice experience! read more

I was visiting Atlanta and my group was very hungry we waited for over a hour at another popular restaurant for brunch and the place was so overcrowded we decided to leave after waiting for such a long time, despite making reservations. So we googled restaurants and found this spot. Very laid back vibe. I was a little hesitant because we saw people with pets there, but we were hungry and decided to sit on the outside patio area. Let me say the two people that I saw with animals outside, their dogs were very nice and just sat there with the owners not bothering anyone, they were on a leash. The waiter was so nice and very accommodating. The food was excellent. The artichoke dip and crab dip was superb. The pita chips were delicious not to hard or dry just right. The best pita chips I ever had. I ordered the steak with jalapeño potatoes and they were delicious. I would definitely go back when I visit Atlanta again. The staff was friendly, came by to take the order, though was lagging a bit at the end and slow to come by after the meal was served to check in and honestly just fill up the water. The place itself has a good neighborhood vibe, and it's a good crew of different ages and ppl coming by to explore the place. The food itself was honestly sub par.
