Scrumptious donuts and decadent coffee drinks!
    C W.

This quaint eatery, nestled in the Avalon, offers a variety of barista coffee drinks and gourmet, delish, Texas-sized donuts! Indoor seating is very limited but there is a lovely outdoor seating area by a fountain, excellent for people-watching or chilling at the always interesting Avalon complex.

We stumbled across this store in Avalon especially because it was one of the few stores open at 9am on Tuesday morning. I was informed that these doughnuts are brought in fresh daily from Nashville (which also justifies the $$ price). It was tasty but not as crunchy as I had expected. Recommend the cinnamon -lemon ice box - strawberry creme. There is plenty of outdoor seating. No WiFi. So hard to do work inside ~~

Go here instead of Starbucks! They have delicious coffee and tea drinks and doughnuts. They even have gluten free donuts! The people that work there are friendly and efficient. There's a little seating inside and more outside in the shade. This place is in the middle of Avalon, next to Cafe Intermezzo.

Five Daughters Donuts are next level! I have never had such a decadent donut that melts in your mouth! I travel for work and when in the area stay at The Hotel At Avalon and cannot wait to walk down to Five Daughters to try the new seasonal donut flavor! You cannot go wrong with any flavor! I LOVE these 100 layer donuts and wish they would open in Las Vegas!

I love the light and airy type of doughnuts so this is right up my alley! I had the blueberry lavender and loved every bite! The inside had a jam filling which was a nice treat! To drink I had an iced chai which was yummy! The drink did take a while but all in all worth the wait for a yummy breakfast!

Stumbled upon this doughnut shop while shopping at the Avalon. Employee was friendly and gave me the spill about the shop. I ordered the lemon box, vanilla cream and purist. The doughnuts are a bit pricey but they are good. I think it is worth a visit if you are in the area. This location has plenty of seating outdoors in the Avalon. Small inside but aesthetically pleasing.

It was closer to 7 and they were almost sold out of everything. We decided to support and got one of everything. Let me tell you why I rated them 3 stars: Ambiance: beautiful aesthetic and clean. Service: very good and super sweet Food: not my favorite. Felt somewhat stale and the bacon donut was way too sweet for me. Overall it's overhyped. I don't know if I'd come here again. Maybe only for the mini glazed original.

Exceptional! That's the first word that came to mind. The shop is adorable, the chocolate sea salt donut was AMAZING, and the service was top notch! We can't wait to go back and try more donuts!

Amazing donuts! It's like a cronut donut with melt in your mouth deliciousness! Don't sleep on Five Daughters Bakery. It is worth every calorie and every penny. The service was friendly and there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy yourself.

Pricey but different donuts. The server was polite and quick with service. The store was very open with windows allowing sunlight through. The selections all looked great so it was hard to pick from.

It's been years since my last visit, so I was thrilled to find out they've opened a location at Avalon! The aesthetics are perfect! I couldn't resist stopping by to see if the experience still lived up to my fond memories. As always, there were so many options to choose from--it's hard to go wrong with their selection. While I love trying new flavors, I stuck with my go-to favorite, and it did not disappoint. The donuts were just as delicious as I remembered, fresh and perfectly made. The staff was incredibly pleasant, adding to the overall positive experience. And with the wide variety of donuts available, there's truly something for everyone. If you haven't stopped by yet, do yourself a favor and check it out today! You won't regret it. #ashsaidit

This Tennessee based bakery is finally here in Alpharetta !! They have their staple flavour hundred layer doughnuts , their monthly specials , gluten free options, and paleo monthly flavours . ( something for everyone) I tried their The Purist and the vanilla cream from the STAPLE FLAVOURS THE BLUEBERRY LAVENDER and the BROWNIE BATTER And all of them were so good.. Hop on over to Avalon and grab this yumminess today .

Coffee was reasonably priced and tasty.

The service, the donuts, the coffee-- INCREDIBLE. The ladies inside were so kind, patient, and helpful. The donuts were unique, and delicious (I'm from the donut capital of the country and these donuts may have topped any I've had before). Go here!!!

Ugh these are awful! They're risen beautifully but greasy and bland! And boy, are they WAY overpriced. These daughters should be ashamed.

We used to go to Ponce to eat these donuts. So glad they have opened a branch in Alpharetta. Their gluten free donuts are equally delicious

Eddie, Christine, and Wheeler are all amazing!…read more Since I knew I was driving to Alpharetta from Lawrenceville for errands, I decided to place an order online to pick up while I was in the area. The day I was supposed to pick up, Eddie (regional manager) called me first thing in the morning to let me know that part of my order didn't make it to the shop from the bakery. I asked him if it would be better for me to come the next day to which he agreed. I went in and was met at the door by Christine, who was super welcoming and asked me if I was LeeAnn. I was already caught off guard because she knew my name before I gave it to her (this is only my second time in the shop over the last five years lol). Eddie, let her know that I was coming in and directed her to provide me with a complementary cinnamon roll package as a thank you for being flexible and an apology for not being able to have everything ready when committed. This was totally unnecessary and above and beyond on their part. Eddie came out from the back to shake my hand and thank me again. The team there are all super friendly. They work fast, give great suggestions, and are very helpful with educating on services they provide that aren't typical for a bakery. For instance, I asked Wheeler if he knew what the starting costs were for shipping. Of course it's going to vary but because of the packaging and dry ice, it would start at roughly $20-$25. However, they provide same-day delivery service within a 50 mile radius of the Gainesville location. That is unheard of for any restaurant, store, bakery, etc., to do same-day delivery with such a big delivery area. Also make note, if you order using shipping, everything will be shipped frozen; if you order using same-day delivery, you'll receive everything freshly baked. As I was leaving, Wheeler offered to bring my order out to my car! I would highly recommend Southern Baked! Whether you need a quick dinner for the family or a quick dessert to bring to an event...this is your place. The people are friendly, the food is delicious, and the service is outstanding!

And that is me pretty much an expert in customer service letting you know that everyone may have a bad day, but their customer service is top-notch. Just like their baked goods just like all of the items that they sell. They curate the best of the best and that is no joke. I did an event with this business two months ago. I thought I had done my review clearly I did not. So for that, I apologize. I had the absolute best experience that you can possibly have with a business to create a wonderful event for my attendees. And I had over 200 people at that event. I did not get one bad comment or one mediocre comment about how the food was. I utilize them for several different aspects of my event. For snacks to go with the fun hours, for grab and go lunch on the last day, and for a continental style breakfast one morning. I'd also like to add that this event was all men. And most of you know that men will eat almost anything and it's really not complain. However, all of the men commented on the creativity that I chose to give them things that they wouldn't normally get at a men's retreat. PS. I did spend a nice portion of the budget because these ingredients are all carefully selected and all of the food is made with love care and concern. They invited me into the space and I can tell you that you could eat off of the floor. It is clean, neat, and organized. I did not say a good thing about her team. They have created a treasure in the community. And the pricing is quite reasonable sandwiches are fresh and delicious and everything is made in house. Let me say that louder for the people in the back. If you're looking for a wonderful place to have fresh fresh bread, fresh pastries, a quick lunch, but something that is delicious and healthy, then stop at Theo Bros Bakery. You will not be disappointed.

The language tape in the bathroom is however teaching Korean and Chinese... I dined here about half a dozen times. It is a nice place with mixed results. Sometimes it is really good, other times not so much...in particular I could say Hummus is good, White Hot Chocolate, Bosco cake is delicious (imported from Italy). Service is good and servers are polite and friendly. Management is not great. If they are busy they will have a wait which could range up to an hour. In my experience one hour wait could turn out to be 10 minutes. Other times 40 minutes wait is actually 50 minutes. As I live close by I have attempted to call and put myself on the wait list and arrive when they are ready but management would not budge. This will be on their terms with zero flexibility... They also sell cakes but cakes are always turned away from the customer...I have not seen this anywhere else...it really points to the fact that management has little experience in hospitality industry.... Lastly this place does not accept cash. Not sure why since they are located in super safe area. Consequently a 5-star review is really a three star and perhaps I am being very generous here...
