Our first visit on the Fourth of July. Unfortunately we waited too long because our daughter who went to purchase said their selections were low. However what we did purchase was very good. Simple donuts but very tasty. Our kids said the gal who served them was very nice and helpful. I thought the don't box was the cutest. The caked strawberry donut tasted very artificial to my daughter so she chose not eat it. Although to her husband, he enjoyed it. Lol They really thought the plain long John with custard was delish or was it the Boston Crème. Either way, they enjoyed them both. Definitely need to return when the selection is larger. Glad it's not took far from our house and that it has the simple delicious donuts that does not cost an arm and a leg. Unfortunately I don't know what the interior of the business looks like nor the parking lot as I didn't accompany my kids. read more

This local gem definitely lives up to the hype! The service here is incredibly friendly, and the donuts are outstanding--absolutely fresh and delicious. I love that they inject the filling right after you order, so the donut stays nice and soft without getting soggy. They also serve coffee and have about five tables inside if you want to sit and enjoy your treat. Just a heads up that prices vary depending on the size of the donut you pick, but it's well worth it. I went to their new shop #2 in Buford. Donuts are the best in town: fresh, fluffy, and definitely not dry and overpriced like Dunkin. These donuts are not your basic Dunkin' Donuts. They're amazing and fresh. I absolutely love the classic donuts, but am also a huge fan of the fruity pebble one. I'm the kind of person who enjoys a plain cake donut and anywhere that has a genuinely good cake donut is A+ in my book. Donut pass up Donut Stop! Donut Stop is a locally owned and operated donut shop, which is apparent when you walk in and are greeted by a kind, older gentleman. The shop has ample seating, but the dining room is currently closed due to Covid-19. Parking is plentiful. Although I have only been to the store once, I've had their donuts a handful of times. I'm not a big fan of cake donuts, but I absolutely love theirs! I actually like their cake donuts more than their yeast, which are also really good, by the way. Their red velvet and strawberry cake donuts are my favorite! They are moist on the inside and glazed on the outside. In addition to sweet treats, they also offer sausage rolls. I have yet to try them, but they look tempting. The treats are made fresh every morning, and sell out fairly quickly. I stopped by around 11am on a weekday and they were already out of a few items. I heard that there was a new donut shop in downtown Cumming, so I decided to stop in this morning and check out what they had to offer. The Donut Stop is located inside the Central Plaza shopping strip which is right across the street from the post office. They have been making delicious cake battered donuts since August 2019! I ended up ordering a half a dozen cake donuts which included their double chocolate, blue berry, red velvet, chocolate, strawberry and a chocolate corn flakes donut! The price tag on this delicious box was only $5.89 (includes tax). I also ordered two of their freshly made small sausage rolls to try which came out to $2.55 (includes tax). One small sausage roll is $1.19. They have large sausage rolls which are $2.29 each. I would have to say that my favorite donut that I tried, out of the 6 I ordered, was the chocolate cake donut. It's a "simple" donut, but there is nothing simple about the overall flavor of it! I also really enjoyed the strawberry donut! Next time I go in I want to try their coffee and one of their twist specialty donuts. I've heard it's one of their most popular donuts. read more

These are the best donuts I've ever eaten. I showed up at 750 on Sunday with my little daughter. Facebook said he opened at 5 or 6 but there was a hand written sign that said his hours were 8-1 on Sundays. I was a little unhappy. Since I had a little one in tow. But when the owner saw me sitting in my car, he propped open the door and smiled and waved real big and motioned that I could come in. He instantly made me feel welcome! The owner is super sweet and says he bakes them fresh every morning. I don't think I've ever had a truly fresh donut before so I didn't know what I was missing! The donuts are light as air and delicious. I never thought I liked cake donuts, but I had a bite of my sons red velvet cake donut and it was hands down the best cake donut ever. THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE OWNER: Nothing I hate more than giving a bad review to a startup. You are going to fail if you dont listen to me. The donuts are horrible, you need to reinvent your recipes and their ingredients. The chocolate you use is not the best available, actually taste like the lowest bidder. Your toppings are too sweet and your dough doesn't compensate, by being as sweet as the toppings. This is a big mistake made by new bakers. Your coffee is Hot Blackened Water, Tasteless Then no milk? common, those little pre-filled creamers suck. Get on it man, you need to be the best at what you do, not the worst. This place was recommended to me, so I decided to stop by here on a Saturday. They are located right past downtown Cumming in a very busy shopping center. When I pulled up, there was hardly any parking available and cars were flooring it through the parking lot. I wish I had came by a little earlier, because by the time I arrived (10:45 AM), they barely had any donuts left! Now I know why they close so early (1PM). I decided to get the double chocolate cake donut, the red velvet cake donut, and one glazed (yeast) donut. They offered free samples of donut holes, which was nice and the prices are really reasonable compared to other donut shops I've been to. I did not like the chocolate one AT ALL. It didn't taste like chocolate to me. It had a hint of some kind of spice that I can't put my finger on. It also was dried out and crumbly. This was the one I was looking forward to trying the most, but it tasted the worst. However, the red velvet one and the glazed one tasted good. The employees that served me didn't seem to speak English well and were not able to answer some of my questions. I think if they had their donuts labeled it would be better. They also squished all three of my donuts into this small bag. When I told them I preferred a box (to take a picture), they just stared at me like I was crazy. But, eventually they handed me one. I don't know if I'll make the 40 minute round-trip back here again, but if I happen to be in the area before 1 PM, I might give it another try. read more

Fresh bakery creations flank the heaven sent doughnuts. There are cruelers, long toms, raspberry filled, eclairs, Tupelo twisters and chocolate glazed. Blueberry cake were either not so popular or piping hot fresh from the fire as there were a gracious plenty of them. We were happy to discover such a magnificent bakery so close to home. Donuts are just ok, but the spicy kolaches are fantastic but they always run out pretty early. It's very clear people prefer them over the regular ones because there are always lots of the refs left.
