Upama in a combo... almost half of smallest container.

Quality and quantity is below than in any local restaurant in India. Combo upma box size is the smallest and that is also not full. "Very cheap" not reasonable at all. Price is almost $13... I don't think I will go or recommend anyone to go there. Indian or South Indian restaurants are much better in Swanee both quality and quantity wise. They need to do better.... And this order was take out

    Samosa soup.

I was a bit apprehensive about the wait time as mentioned by previous folks, but guess it was my lucky day. Got seated in less than 5 minutes, got my food and ate it all within 45 minutes. This is a restaurant where most of the items are within the $10-$20 price range. I loved the no-frills ambience that reminded me of canteen stalls in Chennai, the sweet uncle (co-owner) Mr. Ramachandran who took my order and the featherlike Appam served with flavorful veg curry. They have many vegetarian options and the service beats everything. If you are in Alpharetta and haven't visited this place, you are really missing out. The spot is located in a mall, so there are plenty of parking spots available and the store is easy to locate. I also think the entrance is wheelchair accessible.

I will certainly be back to try more items

This spot is…read more100% vegan East Asian food, and you can't go wrong with anything on their extensive menu. I was honestly quite surprised by how distinct each mock meat was. We got the: - BBQ Chicken Drumsticks: The drumsticks were thick, smoky, and slightly stringy- definitely reminiscent of real chicken. The sauce was on the sweeter side, but still tasty. - Teppan Tofu Bibimpak: Came out sizzling! The tofu was crispy on the outside, almost custard-like on the inside. The sauce was savory goodness. - Black Pepper Steak Udon: Steak was nicely chewy, udon well-cooked, strong pepper essence. - Truffle Fried Rice: Crazy enough, this might be the best fried rice I've ever eaten. Such a unique combination of ingredients including black truffle, avocado, pine nuts, chestnut, mushroom, and green beans. Cool presentation too. - BBQ Pork Fried Rice: Right amount of sweetness with good wok hei. - Tempura Shrimp Roll: Tasted classic, liked that it had fried enoki mushroom in addition to mock shrimp. Ambiance is casual and spacious, lots of parking up front. Service is fast and friendly. To note, they have an automatic 18% service charge. Also, if you spend $30 in one transaction, you get $10 VG cash for next time (no minimum purchase necessary, expires within 10 days). Honestly, I wouldn't hesitate to go back and try other dishes if it was a bit closer to my house. 10/10 would recommend!

We started with the spicy crab temaki off the gluten free menu and my wife got their drumsticks on special. Unfortunately, all of their faux meats have gluten, so I couldn't have the drumsticks. The sushi was very good. Really enjoyed that. For my entree I got the Singapore noodles with tofu, since again, all the faux meats have gluten. I liked it but there wasn't enough sauce which took down the flavor. With some added soy, it was much better, but I definitely needed the soy sauce. I don't recall what my wife got but she was much happier with her meal. Our service was great. The interior is kind of bland-nothing special but nothing to turn you off either. I would come back especially since they have a lot of options for both of us. It would be nice though if they had more gluten free options besides tofu. Surely one of the proteins can be made without gluten flour. But, on the other hand, with such a large gluten free menu, I should just shut up and eat.

It is an open concept eatery with indoor and outdoor eating space. We ordered with the cashier but you can also order online or at the kiosk in store. I ordered 1 chicken tinga street taco and 1 regular chicken street taco. My cousin ordered 3 steak street tacos. We added the sauces of our choice from the sauce bar. The tacos were so flavorful. I preferred the regular chicken taco than the chicken tinga. We went again 2 days later and we ordered the tostada, the gym burrito and a chicken torta. My cousin said the bread was a a little hard for his liking, but the flavor was well. My other cousin really enjoyed the gym burrito and i enjoyed the tostada. The tostada is quite messy so i probably wouldn't get that again. However, this place does not disappoint and was a great find. I would visit it again and again and again.

My husband had the 3 Birria Taco with consommé and they were SO GOOD! We also loved the Tosta-Guac! We like sitting on the patio and enjoying the retro music. This will be our "go to" place for great, tasty, easy meal - and they have beer!

As a longtime San Francisco Bay Area foodie, I've been spoiled by incredible international food and…read morebold, complex flavors, so I'm always excited when I find a restaurant that delivers that same sense of discovery. Delbar absolutely does. The food here stands on its own--layered, interesting and incredibly delicious. I had been looking forward to dinner at Delbar Old Milton for two reasons: a long-overdue dinner with an old colleague and a serious craving for Middle Eastern food. After battling Atlanta-area traffic from Marietta--it took nearly an hour for what should have been about a 30-minute drive--I was ready to settle in, catch up and EAT. I'd previously been to Delbar in Inman Park with a group and loved it, so expectations were high. Old Milton did not disappoint. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Warm, sophisticated and beautifully designed, with a Persian rug welcoming you along the entrance and complimentary valet parking--a huge plus. The young valet team was impressively polished and efficient. I started with a Paper Plane, apparently my new financially irresponsible cocktail habit. Delicious, but these things are expensive! I blame the Italian liqueur. Two cocktails pushed north of $40, so perhaps I need a more economical signature drink. Then came the food. We started with the beet carpaccio: red beets, whipped feta, burnt honey, sour orange, pistachio and almond dukkha. Beautifully balanced--earthy, creamy, sweet, tart and nutty all at once. I let my dinner companion take over ordering from there, which proved to be an excellent decision. The Bandari Olovieh was the surprise of the evening: saffron-marinated smoked salmon with cream cheese, dill, chives, jalapeño purée, potatoes, Aleppo pepper, urfa, hot sauce, fried capers and cornichons, served with saffron potato chips. I'm not usually a salmon person, yet I loved this. The salmon was mild and delicate without the stronger flavor I sometimes associate with salmon or trout. And those saffron potato chips? Dangerous. I could happily eat a bowl of them. We also had the koobideh kabob, made with ground beef brisket and lamb shoulder with onion and saffron, served over taftoun with grilled pepper, tomato and sumac onions. Tender, juicy and packed with flavor. Wrapped in that bread, it was almost like the world's most delicious little Middle Eastern slider. By then, we were DONE. I had every intention of trying dessert, but there was simply no room. It was also getting late, and work was waiting for both of us the next morning. Next visit. Service throughout dinner was friendly and knowledgeable. This is a menu where good servers matter. Ours could explain the dishes and ingredients rather than simply take an order, and that added to the experience. Two small notes on the space. If Atlanta is doing its summertime furnace impression, I'd avoid tables near the doors leading to the patio. Every time they opened, a blast of hot air rolled through. Sit farther inside and enjoy the AC. And while I loved the Persian rug and overall design, the faux flowers and wisteria covering the entrance pergola weren't my favorite. Atlanta sun is brutal on anything artificial, and the rest of the restaurant is sophisticated enough that the entrance deserves something equally polished. Those are minor quibbles. The important part is this: Delbar is serving seriously delicious food in a beautiful setting with thoughtful service. If you're anywhere around Alpharetta or Roswell, make the detour. This place is not to be missed. Life is too short not to eat well. Get out there and find your next meal! Sorry, no photos;(

Every bight was amazing awakened my taste buds. From the variety of hummus and the proteins we selected, beef, lamb and salmon and we couldn't go wrong... Our drinks were strong and refreshing. Service from Averi was excellent. She was very friendly and attentive. Came to replenish drinks and clear plates frequently. I will dine here again when visiting town. Give this place a try.
