Finding FIRST WATCH on yelp turned out to be a very good experience. As I drove up, I saw the crowd standing outside and I concluded that this was the place to eat. The parking lot was packed although we did find a parking spot. Walking in, I saw people dressed in casual attire, some dressed up, and some in athletic apparel. The ambiance was exciting and fresh as there were all sorts of things going on at once. Me and my +1 stepped inside and one gentleman was awaiting to give his name. We were second and a gentleman came in behind us. I had a prime example of the phrase, the first shall be last and the last shall be first. I did not say anything about what had just occurred and then the hostess asked how many people and gave us a choice to sit at the front table immediately or we can wait 30 minutes. We sat at a long table that reminded me of the LAST SUPPER! Our waitress (Kimberly) came over and she was like a shaken bottle of Champagne. She was bubbly and full of energy. She made the visit that much more enjoyable. I ordered the shrimp and grits which consisted of sauteed Cajun shrimp without the tip on the end like most restaurants serve, andouille sausage, cooked low country still with chicken broth, roasted tomatoes and onions, diced green bell peppers and scallions atop of cheddar-parmesan cheese grits served with artisan ciabatta toast. The meal was very tasty, with a strong, tomatoey savoriness. My plus one ordered waffle and cheese grits. She really enjoyed the waffle as it was fluffy and light. I ordered biscuit with turkey sausage with egg to go for my grandson. I sampled it and the biscuit was so soft, (like butter). and the turkey sausage was really delicious with chunks of turkey sausage. The egg was fried to perfection. I would love to come back if I am in the area.

It wasn't hitting like it used to be today. Got a multigrain pancake with pure maple syrup and a side egg and it wasn't wow but the egg felt off. Also the silverware seemed not as clean as I had hoped. I know how dishwashing can be at a restaurant, but it just didn't look clean nor the plate the pancake was on, had a stain it seemed. That's not to say our waitress was terrible, she was great and also the plus of gender neutral bathrooms was great. I just think the quality and hype has gone down a lot lately.

First Watch is my goto every time. I always order the avocado toast on gluten free bread with two eggs over medium......simple, fresh, and perfectly done. The Morning Meditation juice is a must; the beet juice and ginger give it a refreshing, energizing kick. Consistently great food and a place I keep coming back to.

So happy to have a first watch in Gwinnett. The host and our server were so nice. The food was perfectly cooked and came out fast. The bacon especially is a must order - crispy and not too greasy. Egg sandwich was balanced and flavorful. I'd skip their sausage gravy because it's not creamy but it's still spicy and tons of flavor. Will be coming back!!

Loveeee First Watch! This is my first time dining at this location. There was a wait time and the parking lot is small. We sat near the back, close to the kitchen and it was fairly quiet. Our server was attentive and took care of us. We ordered two entrees and an order of French toast to try. I always order the Chile Chorizo omelette, and it was just as good. I'm not a big fan of French toast, but there's was impressive. This restaurant was definitely worth the wait.

I used to love this place. I won't ever be going back. The wait to get food was ridiculous. Obviously since I've been here before I joined the wait list, that's a must do for this restaurant. But we waited 45 minutes or so for food. The staff is very indifferent. It's soooooo loud and sitting on top of people isn't the best. But resides all that, the food was subpar for the price. I ordered a Farm House Skillet. Bacon, avocado, onions etc... Why I only had maybe a half a strip of bacon in it is a mystery? The potato's were undercooked and the whole thing was just mid. Don't waste your time or money here.

This restaurant serves good breakfast, but it gets very loud and crowded. While the service is good, the wait can be long due to long lines. An online waiting list would be a game-changer!

First watch never disappoints! I love their season item menu, sometimes I wish they can keep some items on the menu permanently. Their pastrami egg sandwich was Delicious. It tasted like a breakfast cheese burger. The description on the menu was misleading because pastrami on a sandwich is NOT a New York staple. Nonetheless it's still good.

Food was good, but a little over priced for breakfast. Staff was friendly and service was fast. I would consider going again.

SO much flavor, but if you're like me and can't handle too much during breakfast i don't recommend ordering it bc it's A LOT of food lol i couldn't finish. it's huge pieces of pork belly with eggs on top of cornbread cake and served with potato wedges!! tbh SOOO cheap for all that you get. normal eggs benedict elsewhere are about the same with so much less food. we also tried their specialty whipped coffee which was okay, i think i expected more since it's one of their most popular items but it's worth trying for sure. the restaurant is basically a house so it feels really cozy and is a super cute spot for a brunch date. i would feel overwhelmed bringing a big group of people here but they have a lot of outside seating too! overall such a great brunch place, definitely made it to one of my top favorites :)

I rolled in there hungry enough to eat the bumper off a truck and ordered the meatloaf ciabatta sandwich with hand-cut fries, and sweet mercy... somebody's grandma must be back there running the kitchen because that thing was borderline life-changing. The meatloaf was thick, juicy, and had that "somebody's been perfecting this recipe since 1978" flavor going on. The ciabatta held it together like a champ, and those hand-cut fries? Lord have mercy. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside -- the kind you keep saying "just one more" until suddenly the basket's empty and you're thinking about ordering another. Now here's the real kicker: they've got gluten-free options, which means I can bring my wife this weekend without her looking at the menu like it personally offended her. That alone deserves a round of applause. So if you're anywhere near Buford and your stomach starts talking louder than your good sense, do yourself a favor and stop by.
