YESSSSSSS!!! This place has an appealing industrial feel on the inside (so happens that it's my favorite decor). The waiter, a young guy, was extremely friendly and helpful. He suggested some fresh juices and gave us tasters before we ordered. I had the classic avocado toast with a fried egg and it was perfect. My husband and 2 kids devoured their food as well. First Watch is a great breakfast/brunch place. I got there a little before 8am so it wasn't very busy. The menu is expansive. I ordered one of their specials, a cremini mushroom frittata with lemon arugula and cream cheese with fresh fruit and a slice of ciabatta. Everything was fantastic. Food is too expensive for what it is. Who has heard of turkey gravy for biscuits? That's a horrible thing--and they don't offer "regular" gravy. The pork sausage is good but too spicy for my taste. Their million dollar bacon comes with cayenne - it can't be ordred without, so I tried it and had to give it to my fiance. (As I had to with the sausage). I'm a First Watch regular but this was my first time at this location which opened up a few months ago. My husband and I were extremely disappointed. The staff is friendly but that's about it. The service is extremely slow! I understand waiting for a table but once we sat down there was an extremely longer wait for the food. The food itself was bland, I've had the same meal at other First Watch locations and it was better. People also kept complaining about how cold it was inside the restaurant. Came in for brunch & was met with a 30 minute wait time. No biggie, considering it's still the holidays and a lot of people are off. Finally get a text out table is ready- awesome! Head inside and tell the host we got our message. It's chaos inside. He says ok hold on.. we wait. And wait. And after about 10 minutes of being clearly in the way waiting ask if our table is ready. Hastily get sat. Our server comes over and we order drinks. Sweet tea is unimpressive, not very sweet at all. We order our food, an omelette and a skillet. It takes FOREVER. Easily 35 minutes to get our food. Our server doesn't come to ask if we need refills at all. Finally get our food and underwhelmed yet again! Cheese grits- NO flavor. Potatoes undercooked. Just overall lack of flavor in everything. Looks are definitely deceiving. A runner brought our food and it was at least 10 minutes until our server came back to check on us. ThIs is not my first time at first watch, but it is my first at this new location. The location parking is a little tight but manageable. The interior is classy with that upscale feel. We ate here on a Saturday morning at 730 so no issues with crowds until we left at about 830 when people were beginning to wait to be seated . They seem to be slightly understaffed at that time as our waitress was having to cover a lot of tables . They may have had more help coming on site after we left. The food is very good and was served reasonably quick. I have the chimichanga and my wife had the pancakes. Neither was served piping hot. We did not complain as they were acceptable just not as hot as they could have been. They may have been prepared and held waiting on the busy staff to deliver . I will definitely eat here again and will probably need to up my rating after they've been open more than 30 days and they have more experience. read more

Every time my family and I come here, the service is excellent, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is quaint. The only thing I can say I do not like is the parking. That's how busy they are. When we received our food, I was missing one (of my two) pancakes, my eggs were cold, my wife's gravy for her biscuits were room temperature and there was no dressing on my sons salad. Another thing that was irksome was they don't put prices for their drinks on the menu. I understand why now. Coffee was almost $3 and soft drinks were just a little bit cheaper. First time I came here it was a 30 min wait on a Sunday which is fine . Once we got seated and they took our order we had an hour wait on the food. By the time we got our food they were closed . Manager was very nice and apologized gave us 50% our food. We wanted to give the place another chance because it was a busy Sunday. So I went in today wait was not terribly bad for a Friday. Service was great got our food in a reasonable time. Once they placed the food down we noticed a hair and right away let them know. They were able to fix the mistake and didn't charge us for it. With all that being said I don't think I'll be coming back food was good and all but not worth all that trouble. read more

I've visited this location several times and without exaggeration, I've never had a good experience. It takes entirely too long for the food to come out; some of the servers have a manufactured smile, and often times the food is served partially cold. My last experience was an order to go. I waited for close to an hour for my order, and when I became visibly upset the young man who took my order stated, "That's how long it takes" when i made mention of my wait. I watched people come in for a table, place orders and received their food before I was able to walk out with mines. At the same time I was waiting for my order - a woman at the "Community" table complained that her family hadn't been acknowledged by a server for a long period of time as well. Our bad experience started from the moment we got there. Hostess didn't give us a kids menu and we had to go ask for one. Server took about 10 minutes to come to our table and did not even apologize, greet us, or introduce herself. Just said "I guess you want coffee." Took another five minutes to bring our drinks, and our water glasses were hot - my husband's still had dishwater in it. When our food came out, my husband's Eggs Benedict was lukewarm and his spring mix salad had hardly any dressing on it. My daughter's egg, which was supposed to be scrambled, look like a fried egg that had just been flopped over on the griddle. Server did not bring out my other daughter's Belgian waffle until the rest of us were halfway through, commenting that there was only two waffle irons. By the time she brought it out, she said "oh well I was wrong, there is only one waffle iron." No apologies for anything. We gave her a 10% tip and she barely deserved that - typically we tip 25%.
