Salt and Pepper Shrimp (spicy plus broccoli). The shrimp is super fresh and flavorful

My new go to place for great Chinese takeout. The salt and pepper shrimp (spicy, with broccoli), is delicious, definitely one of the best I've ever had. Really fresh shrimp and a HUGE generous serving. Loved that they were open til 9:30 on a Tuesday night. I'll be back

Have always stopped in Hibachi88 next door so decided to give Fang's a try. Its not a fancy place. It's mainly take out with very limited seating. Was pleased that they had an authentic menu so decided to give it a try. Service was quick & friendly. Food - Honestly I was disappointed with the food overall. The sautéed green beans were very flavorful with the highly desired essence from high heat cooking. The sautéed vermicelli and the ma po tofu...2 of our favorite dishes...were seriously lacking in flavor. They both had the required spiciness but lacked the umami flavor of the fermented bean paste that is essential to these dishes. Where is the ground pork that is essential in this traditional vermicelli dish?!?! The moo shu pork was interesting in that Cha siu pork was used instead of regular pork. It changed the flavor dynamic of the dish & not necessarily in a good way in our opinion. It wasn't what we had expected. Overall, our dishes that night was a bit disappointing

Steaming broccoli with chicken and fried rice

Was craving Chinese food after a long day of moving and Fangs popped up. Fangs is a small and new locally owned restaurant next to Lowes grocery store. Upon walking in I was warmly greeted by the lady behind the counter that was masked up and had a barrier between us. Both of these plus my mask made ordering difficult, but she was nice and patient so it all worked out. They were super busy as it was Saturday night, so it took about 20 minutes for me to get my food. This was so worth it as the food was so delicious and fresh! I opened the box up and got an amazing aroma of garlic, pepper, and chicken. Wow! I almost did not make it back home without opening the box and digging in, but I did! I was starving so I did not leave much for leftovers, but that just means I have to go back, right? For just $8 I got a delicious and fresh meal, so this will be my go to for Chinese food going forward!

Great food! A bit pricey, but good. General Tso's shrimp was a little soggy, but flavorful. Hot and sour soup was really good!

We enjoyed so many different dishes - hot and sour soup, scallion pancakes, egg rolls, hand pulled noodles with beef, kung Pao chicken, cumin beef, beef with vegetables, crag rangoon, and pork dumplings. Every dish was wonderful. And for anyone who has not tried the hand pulled noodles here you really must try them - they are a highlight of a meal - incredibly delicious with a wonderful texture. The flow of food to our table was great, not too fast or rushed and not too slow. Our waitress was wonderful and ensured that our group had everything that we needed to enjoy our meal. Will I be back again - Absolutely!! Everyone in our group agrees that this is the best Chinese food anywhere! I will caution some seeing this review that unlike many other Asian restaurants, if you order a Hot and spicy dish here it will indeed be very hot. I consider that to be good because I enjoy hot spicy food, but for those who cannot handle hot food stick with the milder dishes.

We really wanted a good Asian meal, and not typical takeout, so we got on the Yelp app while traveling through Raleigh, and found this place not too far of our route in Cary. It's in an international themed shopping center a bit off the main drag, and honestly, the vibes hit us just right from the moment we got out of the car. You walk in and you can see the cooks at work to the left, the restaurant is bright with lots of blue and a large mural to the right. We got immediate service, the menu is large and daunting. There is anything here from more typical Chinese American cuisine, all the way into more esoteric options for the experienced eater. We ordered a bit of both, starting with some simple steam pork dumplings, beef lo mein, and an order of hot pot pepper chicken. Everything came out mostly together, with the hot pot chicken served in a wok, keeping things steaming. Everything tasted and looked exceptional. The dumplings were a lovely texture, with plenty of meat filling the pockets. Beef lo mein was a top notch versioin of the takeout classic, with a tangy flavor and a good amount of meat. All that said, the hot pot pepper chicken absolutely stole the show! This was a robust dish, plenty here for a meal plus leftovers first off, but beyond the perfectly crispy outside and tender inside chicken pieces, we really got into the sliced cauliflower and veggie mixture. Over a bit of rice, this is a dish we won't be able to resist again, not that the others weren't an easy re-order as well. This spot will be on our minds everytime we head into or through this area from now on. Thanks for making it a top notch road stop Chengdu 7!

Super friendly folks behind the counter and dashing around making sure everyone was happy and had top ups. We got the bok choy, general tso's chicken, Lao mein, and pork soup dumplings. My kids ate it up! (Not the "green stuff" haha but truly some of the most tender and delicious bok choy that we, the adults, have ever had). The house made noodles were big hit as well, of course. Soup dumplings were flavorful with all the right spices, as was the chicken tso- not spicy in our case but just absolutely packed with flavor. Cute, relaxed, casual space with neat decor. Our meal started with a scallion pancake. It was very good, with just the right amount of scallion flavor but was a tiny bit too dense. Next we tried the pan-fried pork and celery dumplings. They were clearly just handmade, steamed, then finished off with a light panfry. I've never had this particular variety of dumpling before and these were delightful. The accompanying dipping sauce had a bit too much vinegar in it for my taste. Highly recommended. We shared the minced pork and eggplant for an entree. Wow! This was fantastic. The Japanese eggplant was very tender and the finely minced pork perfectly complimented the eggplant. We will definitely order this again. Adding steamed rice to this entree incurs a $1.95 up charge which seems like gouging on a $16.95 dish. Service was friendly and helpful, but not especially attentive or detail oriented. I got the impression that the restauranteurs in charge were highly experienced and showed a level of finesse that most similar restaurants in the area just aren't capable of. Beijing Cafe definitely warrants return visits.

Happy to report:…read moreTaipei 101 in Cary is still holding it down as one of the most reliable Chinese spots in the RTP area. We kicked things off with the hot & sour soup and Szechuan cold noodles--both excellent. The soup had that perfect balance of tangy heat without going overboard, and the cold noodles brought a nice punch of spice and sesame that woke up the palate. For mains, we went with the beef chow fun and salt & pepper squid. The chow fun had that slightly smoky, charred flavor you want with tender beef and well-seasoned noodles that weren't greasy. The squid was crispy, lightly battered, and tossed with just the right amount of salt, pepper, and aromatics--super addictive. Every dish hit. No misses, no filler--just solid, satisfying Chinese food done right. It's always a good sign when a place still delivers years later, and Taipei 101 definitely does.

The vegetable lo mein was just as underwhelming, with only a small amount of carrots, scallions, and broccoli, lacking real flavor while somehow being overly salty. We also ordered the eggplant with basil, but the sauce was thick, overly sticky, and tasted more like sugar than anything else. I can't understand how this could be considered authentic. We had visited this restaurant about ten years ago, and the quality has clearly declined since then.

The beef is flavorful and juicy, wrapped in a thin, perfectly chewy skin. The chili sauce complements the filling beautifully without overpowering it. Generous portion, amazing value, flawless execution. 9. Steamed BBQ Pork Bun -- Soft, fluffy buns filled with mildly sweet BBQ pork. Comforting, classic, and delicious every time. 11. The beef and chives inside are juicy and flavorful, and the portions are generous. I dream about these dumplings when I'm asleep. Absolute perfection. Take all my money!
